God, I'm not even past the first jail because I haven't had much time to play the game but I keep getting left to solo bunny Alice and I had to solo the key keeper guy before her too, is it too much to ask of my AI teammates to not follow me when Alice is doing the roll attack thing that only aims for the player? I almost had her defeated too.
Dude the first boss was so hard for me because I was still figuring things out and my other teammates kept dying. You don’t exactly have a way to get them back alive either that early. Either Joker or Ann died early and I would end up without weakness attacks😖
Is there a hidden AI behavior switch where they can only properly dodge boss AOE attacks after you beat them? I swear i kept soloing bosses since crewmates all die to AOEs however, during replay fights they could actually avoid them. Either that or i have the worst luck
Alright I made it to Osaka and it's been fine ever since Alice, if you grind and actually swap characters a bunch to keep them away from the boss and use them creatively you can beat bosses pretty easily, most bosses have like 2 weaknesses by default so make sure all your characters are decently leveled and use the characters that seem to best oppose most enemies in the jail while having Jokers personas well rounded so you have atleast 1 of every element you can use in attacks also use the bond points to level up your SP and HP stats for everyone and get the Metaverse medic and Master chef skills upgraded a bit to make your healing items/SP items do more, and finally just get good with canceling strong boss attacks by breaking the shield thingies below their health by using skills they are weak to because it helps a lot. Edit: oh yeah almost forgot, cook like every SP item you can and buy food ingredients and recipes a lot because purchasable SP items are rare, curry and seafood saved me a bunch so far.
Lucifer, actually. Satan is already technically angelic considering they're YHVH's number two in the mainline SMT...? But yeaaah, that other fellow said Helel ain't in P5 (or P5S, prolly), so naw.

This version of the song unironically replaced the original in my head. When someone says "Blooming villain" I think of this. Phantom Strikers is just so peak.
Also, I like how cleverly Ango is written as a villain. Not just his cringey "writing" and battle quotes, but also how his armor kept falling off when you fight his dragon form--just to show how much of a faker he really was. It's probably because I'm self-taught as a writer, artist, and photographer, but it struck a personal chord with me. I certainly didn't start teaching myself all these art forms just to be a fraud, after all. Much respect to Yusuke for giving Ango that much-needed scathing lecture. Honestly, there are plenty of people in the real world who need that lecture, too.
I also like how he starts out spouting cliche dark lord lines from his book, but as you chop away his armor, he drops the act and rants about his real self’s issues.

Especially macho/tough guys; when something shatters their false bravado, the real person underneath tends to be someone completely different. Might as well put it out there: I've also survived a lifetime of extreme trauma. I didn't learn how to turn to others or trust people, so I had to learn to face everything myself. I've had plenty of moments where I thought I knew myself, but then something happened to force me back to self-reflection/improvement. I guess the main difference is that I've never had anyone support me through any of this, not even with scathing lectures. I dunno. Just more personal parallels, really.

To me, Ango also seems like kind of an analogy to aspiring creators that choose to sell out to easily-marketable but overused and cliche ideas for quicker success rather then follow their original vision and what they truly want to create because of the extra effort and risk stacked against them, especially ones in his position who have a big name to live up to and ton of pressure put on them to succeed.

You know what's funny.. I'm actually not really angry at any of the targets/bosses in P5S. Sure, I dislike bullies and those who act pretentious while copying works of others.. But the great touch of P5S is that none of the targets were _really_ evil people at all: they all had a cry for some justice, and took it a little too far once they had the power to do so.
Yeah, specially (SPOILERS) Konoe's backstory. Like damn, I know P5 first boss is a sexual predator, but Kamoshida was a sick fuck. Konoe wasnt a bad guy, he just needed to break free from his abusive father and he was about to die during that last beating.

You know, this is one of the few songs I listened to before Strikers came to the west, and I'll admit, I didn't like it as much as the original at first. But my opinion flipped once I played the game and heard it during Alice's fight. The sheer chaos of the boss fights made this version absolutely perfect for it.
Y’know I feel like Blooming Villain fits in this game better. Cause in Persona 5, they weren’t blooming, they were already villains. These people aren’t villains, at least, not yet. These Blooming Villains, allowed to go down their path, will eventually become trash through and through, unless you stop them.
That's the point. A flower blooms when it's matured and ready to make more of itself. The villains are blooming because one way or another, they're no longer in denial. When the theme plays in the base game, it's because you're facing the true expression of their villainy, mask off. This is their villainy on full display, no longer hiding behind the metaphorical flower petals of a civilised persona.
One of my ideas for a prospective Persona 6 was a cast whose Personas were based around famous historical warriors/generals. Lu Bu sounds like the perfect Persona for either the main villain or a major antagonist.

The guitar doing the tremolo at 0:35 is amazing it really makes you feel how truly distorted the Prison Wardens idealogies are. Dunno why, but it sells that whole "victim-to-victimizer" pipeline characters like Shadow Alice and the mayor are on.

I'm already a hardcore fan of Persona 5 and the Phantom Thieves and I wanted this game to come over seas so much. When I watched the announcement trailer with this song I was more hyped up than I was expecting. Damn I can't wait to play it, i already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition so I can get it four days earlier.
P5S Spoilers . . . I feel like this fits very well with the scenarios it plays in. Alice, Natsume, and Mariko were all treated horribly in their pasts in some way, whether it be bullying, being used for profit, or betrayal/sabotage. When you fight them, it's as if they unleash all their rage and vengeance that sprouted from their traumas, which is portrayed in this track. It's especially the case in Alice's boss fight where she yells things like "I'm so sick of suffering!!", among other things during the fight.
I know right?! The bosses in Vanilla P5 made us go like “You are about to suffer in a million ways after the things you did!” The bosses HERE in Strikers actually make us feel bad for these characters when we fight them like if we were saying “Poor thing, you suffered so much. However, I HAVE to stop you from harming anymore innocent people, but I understand your pain.”

After hearing this a lot i have to say i like this one better just for the metal theme and faster pace. Hearing the og from persona 5 feels like its played on .75x speed. Love both of them but this one definitely sounds better to me
The thing is, P6 would have a different theme to it, just look at P3, P4, and P5. So I say, it will have a similar art style and soundtrack to P5, but stylized to its theming

Dang, Gota did a fantastic job on this remix. Twice as epic as the original.
You know, this is one of the few songs I listened to before Strikers came to the west, and I'll admit, I didn't like it as much as the original at first. But my opinion flipped once I played the game and heard it during Alice's fight. The sheer chaos of the boss fights made this version absolutely perfect for it.
I had this theme stuck in my head for a long time and I couldn't remember what it was from. Glad I finally found it again today.

Y’know I feel like Blooming Villain fits in this game better. Cause in Persona 5, they weren’t blooming, they were already villains. These people aren’t villains, at least, not yet. These Blooming Villains, allowed to go down their path, will eventually become trash through and through, unless you stop them.
That's the point. A flower blooms when it's matured and ready to make more of itself. The villains are blooming because one way or another, they're no longer in denial. When the theme plays in the base game, it's because you're facing the true expression of their villainy, mask off. This is their villainy on full display, no longer hiding behind the metaphorical flower petals of a civilised persona.

I noticed that she performs this 6 times before she gets exhausted.
It wasn’t the rolling attack that messed me up, it was the dive one, only because the AI kept running RIGHT INTO IT.
The only boss I ever died to was Mariko, but it was a close call for Alice. I literally survived with just Joker on low hp.
There better be a DLC where Akechi goes through his father's palace at the last minute, DOOM style.

One of my ideas for a prospective Persona 6 was a cast whose Personas were based around famous historical warriors/generals. Lu Bu sounds like the perfect Persona for either the main villain or a major antagonist.

The guitar doing the tremolo at 0:35 is amazing it really makes you feel how truly distorted the Prison Wardens idealogies are. Dunno why, but it sells that whole "victim-to-victimizer" pipeline characters like Shadow Alice and the mayor are on.

I'm already a hardcore fan of Persona 5 and the Phantom Thieves and I wanted this game to come over seas so much. When I watched the announcement trailer with this song I was more hyped up than I was expecting. Damn I can't wait to play it, i already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition so I can get it four days earlier.

I feel like this fits very well with the scenarios it plays in. Alice, Natsume, and Mariko were all treated horribly in their pasts in some way, whether it be bullying, being used for profit, or betrayal/sabotage. When you fight them, it's as if they unleash all their rage and vengeance that sprouted from their traumas, which is portrayed in this track. It's especially the case in Alice's boss fight where she yells things like "I'm so sick of suffering!!", among other things during the fight.
I know right?! The bosses in Vanilla P5 made us go like “You are about to suffer in a million ways after the things you did!”
The bosses HERE in Strikers actually make us feel bad for these characters when we fight them like if we were saying “Poor thing, you suffered so much. However, I HAVE to stop you from harming anymore innocent people, but I understand your pain.”

After hearing this a lot i have to say i like this one better just for the metal theme and faster pace. Hearing the og from persona 5 feels like its played on .75x speed. Love both of them but this one definitely sounds better to me
