I completely understand what you were saying about waiting to read a series. My husband and I do that with Tv shows. We wait until the finale or almost finale and then binge watch sever al episodes at a time.
I tend to re-read the series when the new book comes out to refresh my memory. Unfortunately/fortunately, that means I read book 1 multiple times. I didn't realize there would be more books when I read the first 2 books of The Empyrean Series (Fourth Wing).
We live on the current months income. We do not budget by paycheck and we have roughly a month’s worth of income in our checking account as a buffer so we never worry about timing of expenses.

@SaraMarie that is great. I am looking to implement that method in a month or 2. Goal is to pay all bills,save etc on the 1st of every month.
