I saw the commercial on TV as a kid, but I never got to go because of my family’s financial status at the time. (We were poor.) And then, I recently saw the mini documentary from Bright Sun Films, and it was just sad. I did see the dolphin/sea lion shows at West Edmonton Mall, so I would think one marine animal show is the same as the next, yeah? I thought it was cute when the penguins were allowed to walk around the mall. But like any kid, none of us realised the reality of using animals this way for profit. I always wanted to go to (Paramount) Canada’s Wonderland after seeing Hanson and The Moffatts perform there during YTV PsykoBlast. Again, I never got to go, but I saw The Moffatts during the 1999 Chapter I tour, in Winnipeg and again in Edmonton during the PsykoBlast Tour of 2000. I didn’t get to see Hanson until decades later.
