"Spring Yard Zone" slowed down the kinetic soundtrack of Sonic the Hedgehog with a more reserved number focusing on a chill groove. I wanted to play this up, while adding a bit more power, courtesy of my expanded section. I wanted the song to keep going back to the two main sections of the original song, while flanking them with new material that takes the listener down a more soulful path.

This remix should have 90's hip-hop lyrics along with soul and dreamlike-pop singing vocals, but reverb the vocals like how the singing voice echoes. I want it to make me all teary-eyed.
Your music is crazy man, I love it when people extended original tracks to give it some more depth.
Going to say..this is my favourite track from the game, theres a few that fight for top spot but this one always gave me the best feeling, this remix built on the nostalgia and as always, enhanced it..can't get enough of your work, you went crazy with that bass during the breakdown..damn! 💜

Good Track Improvement! I paid most attention to the last motif at 0:41 and 4:31. It sounds really cool at the end of the Original Track.
I listened to the extension for a very long time to get a better feel for it. You just made it with echoes of "Streets of Rage" and "ToeJam & Earl". This is especially noticeable at 2:17. First comes the motif of the First, and from 2:37 the calm style of the Second.
At 3:15, I really got high. Here you can hear "Spring Yard Zone", and the motif of "Streets of Rage", and Synthwave. And at the end, a Cool Outro. COOL!
Niiiiice, best one yet.

The Maestro is BACK! And we're getting back into the groove with the Spring Yard Zone - every little step I take leads me back to MaestroDraven~ Funnily enough, I used to not be too much of a fan of this song- maybe I thought it underwhelming after being stuck with the Marble Zone for so long? As the years passed, I've certainly changed my tune, and now I can't help but groove to this song!
The first original section sounds INCREDIBLE! From that classic "burnt synth" sound, as I call it, to the booming of the backing track and pounding of those 16-bit drums, each part of the song comes out so clearly! Of course, the melody has prominence over all else, but it really sounds like each instrument is getting their moment to shine
I hear that little extension starting at 0:35, and I love that supporting synth that plays to the end of the first "original" section, as it definitely adds a lot of soul to this track - which is precisely what you were going for!
Now onto the expansion - oooh, another unbroken expansion segment! This time, it feels like a reasonable progression of what the song would sound like of it continued! We're just listening to the beat - no melody, just the beat, the synth, and the drums~ It feels like you're slowing down the song without actually lowering the tempo, and that's really good! It just allows the audience to groove with the beat... oh yes
1:20 Now we're getting to hear the xylophone section... but what's this? The notes aren't what we'd expect to hear! I'm thinking this could mean that there's something more sinister to the heart of this beat- Badniks... Robotnik... don't be fooled! This seemingly "discordant" section is probably something to jar listeners away from forgetting that there's something very wrong with thus place - the fact that animals are trapped in machines against their will... or maybe this is another example of me looking too deep into things from being forced to write essays since middle school
1:38 This robotic sounding synth sound almost seems to confirm my suspicions about the robot theory, but I'll probably wait before jumping to conclusions; I really like this section though, it's excellent - it really does remind me of the warbling of buttons on a control panel
1:57 We're slowly being reintroduced to the melody... and that supporting synth is coming back! I love that echo that came along with the synth~
2:22 I'm also just really impressed with that Badnik defeat
2:36 We're back to listening to the beat, but it's a new beat! And I love it! It's truly something you can just groove to - listen to that bass~ Time to chill out and feel the groove, Sonic - it's time for sheer determination
3:15 The determination is stronger now! The beat is getting more intense, and the synth is growing stronger too as it crescendos towards the second and last original section, the second slice of bread to this Spring Yard sandwich~ I can hear little hints of a futuristic, robotic synth in the background, the shadow of the Robotnik looming close behind - this section might be one if my favorites!!
And now we're slowing down just a little bit to enjoy the rest of the original melody~ The first section doesn't have that backing track supporting it, but then the second section brings it back to its former glory~ We get to hear that marvelous synth one more time... and the little reepat at the very end just seals the deal

The extention makes me feel like I'm lost on the wrong side of town and the original is being found by someone I recognise
