This game takes place after a bad ending for Sonic.Exe: Nightmare Beginning. This game takes place between NB and EoT (Eye of Three). Exetior subdued the first trio of Sonic's friends and now seeks to completely suppress the spirit of Sonic, destroying it and taking over this and other worlds.

Wow the fight between Amy and Exetior was amazing! But at Amy's solo ending was just heartbreaking and Exetior show his "mercy" to Amy in the least worst way possible.
Although that "Exetior" is not the real Exetior, since almost everything that happens in Finished Nightmare is just a simulation.

@@henrydavidrojasvillegas1130 Well, Exetior has a kind of "Computer" that generates many simulations so that he knows what the best result is for his plans, even the very prologue of Finished Nightmare confirms that Exetior, being stressed about what would come and that his evil side does not leave him alone, he decides to send that evil side to a simulation to leave him alone (the simulation takes place after the events of Continue Nightmare part 1)
@@carlosloayzav6594 It is the real Exetior mate, the simulation is just a copy of EoT's simulation by Jina. Also the game doesnt take place after CN, I'll give you the info of the plots:

That amy boss battle was really amazing
Although I like how the continue? option is a small minigame of sorts. It reminded me of that little revival minigame in kirby pinball where you had to time your jump to get back into the game.
IMPORTANT INFO: SECRET STAGE AFTER RAVINE MIST
when screen goes black after entering exit ring press on keyboard R M Z (red mist zone), u will get to this secret stage which is lot harder but worth it

I’ve been waiting for finished nightmare and I’m glad it finally came! That fight between Exetior and Amy was insane! She was like super Amy style like Super Sonic.

I don't think you know the full story, in the previous version Exetior tried to save Mobius from Highest, even his methods doesn't seems right, there was on Nightmare Continued an ending where a Highest possessed Sally, found Exetior, and then, i think more Highests were to come, Exetior had no choice but to run and try to reset the timeline(i think), and the ending was Mobius on fire with Exetior saying: "I'm sorry Mobius", also Chaos Hunter(Junter) messed Tails up, he kept getting in Exetior ways lots of times already

The cutscene at the end really upended the little i know about exeified characters in this world, it broke my heart for both of them. I really like how you format ur videos for these sorts of games, makes it easier on a guy like me whos discovering this exe universe 6 yrs late (or 2 yrs or whatever if were talking about jaizboys new plot. Its all very confusing, and i want to ask jaiz how long it will take him to finish NBR so i can get a proper intro to this series, but asking that apparently warrants a death penalty from his community, albiet for perfectly legitimate reasons that i can relate to lol.)
