They're all doing well. They prefer to be indoors on hot days. Loulou & Coco only drink a lot on stuffy days and today it's very stuffy weather. xx

We (the Netherlands) only had 1 day in history hotter than 40 Celsius, over 2 degrees hotter than it ever had been. (Or 101.5F to 105F) It was 2019. But our houses are not build for that, and hardly anyone has airco, although that's changing.

@@Loulou_Friends I put the mat in the living room, in front of a box fan. Of course, if it's hot enough, we'll just go into the bedroom where there's A/C. :)

It's boiling in central Texas 103 degrees and higher next week with little or no rain. Bear and I try to stay in the inside. You and Fred take care Flu makes one feel so bad so keep on the fluids and lighter foods. Gloria and Bear and my Heavenly crew

Even in the summer heat, everyone and everything is thriving, as always, with you guys and gals. Sorry you and Fred are down with flu...that definitely sucks. Wishing you both a speedy recovery! There's nothing like petting a little round mini Dachshund head for relaxing, is there? Our also start to yawn a bunch when getting a head rub, LOL. Tennessee is finally getting some summer weather. It will be a decade or two before we have another extended spring like this!

It has been very hot in Scotland as well. One of my little wild cats woke me up on Saturday morning, I keep the windows in my gym and kitchen wide open to keep a nice breeze running through my home. It was raining and a little windy. Ope, thank god, that feels nice. Thanks for waking me up, Cat 1st

No, I'm stubborn and that's not good. Fred did go to bed. In the evening I got a high fever because of my stubbornness, so now I make sure that I rest more 🙈.

Me and my little brother Christopher shared a loft in my parents' house, we. Had a large library, if one book was out of place, we had to either clean the house, top to toe, or weed the garden. I think that's why I'm a bit messy now, still rebelling at my parents, and I just turned 50. Truth be told, I enjoyed ironing, although I never worked out how to iron mums lingerie?

Dank je wel. Mijn 2e naam is eigenwijs, heel eigenwijs. Altijd doorgaan en er doorheen proberen te drukken, maar s nachts kreeg ik flinke koorts. Nu probeer ik echt op te letten en te rusten. Het is een stick met yak kaas. Het is heel hard en moeten ze lang op kauwen. Lou had er geen zin in met het warme weer. Ik was ook verbaasd.

Yes sorry it is a Dutch proverb that I have translated into English. In English it means nothing. My mistake. Walking with your soul under your arm means you don't know what to do with yourself. Fred and I walked there with the flu and looked at each other like 'what are we doing here' haha.
