I’m an 81 year old war verteran who’s been living in an institution for the last 50 years with PTSD from seeing everyone in my camp except me get gunned down in Vietnam. I’ve had insomnia since the war and just got released from the institution yesterday for the first time in 50 years. Tonight is my first night in my apartment and am hoping to use this video to assist me in achieving a night of deep rest. So thankful for the ones who take the time to make these videos.

My son has had issues sleeping for a while as he has PTSD from hearing shots since we used to live in a neighbourhood with lots of crime. When we were kids, my dad hunted my little sister and I through the house with a gun in a fit of rage.
I hid under my bed but unfortunately my little sister was found and brutally murdered by him. I suffer from a lot of PTSD and survivors guilt.

my 5 year old brother likes sleeping with these rain sounds and when I saw this I thought it would be funny to change to this video. so I set it the 20 seconds the the gun shots and I left his room. while waiting patiently for the part to come. I covered my mouth to avoid making a sound. I finally heard the gun shots and I will not lie I was holding back tears of joy and laughter. I hurried to my room because heard him coming out of his bed and acted like I had no idea what happened.
