Haha thanks mate! ❤️

Lovely! Your channel should have 1000's of subs. Such quality videos.
Thank you Steven! I'm working on it haha. Hopefully it will come with time. Untill then, thank you so much for your lovely support
Ohw wat een gitaar! Ik wil al heel lang een weer een Stratocaster aanschaffenmaar serieus ik neem een duo Sonic alleen maar door deze vette demo gast wat speel jij super Nice 🔥🎸👌🙏
Both the Victor value and production value are off the charts it’s not even funny 🙌 well done!
Thank you so much Guillaume! Sorry i never replied haha ❤️
Loves my Duosonic!
Man,nice review
Thank you! 🤗
I’ve got a ‘63 that I bought from a friend who owned a guitar shop in Seattle in the 80s for 150$. A punk rocker had gotten ahold of it and trashed the finish. But it had the original case and , for the most part , was all there. My brother is an accomplished luthier and I’ve been hanging out for a window of his time. Looks as though it’d been the aquamarine but I’m loving this juicy orange.
What styles of music do you find the Duo Sonic best for? Great video!!
You didn't ask to like, subscribe and ring the bell, so I've only done 2 of those.
Do tell which one you left out 😂❤️
NICE! A guitar review featuring a guy who can REALLY PLAY! 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Love this guitar
Me too! ❤️
They are amazing, for any money!
Agreed!!
This is the best demonstration of this guitar to date, followed by Chris Buck
Wow wow wow don’t even start comparing me to Chris Buck. I have NOTHING on that guy!?
Great guitar. I use it on a few of my songs I have posted on here
Love your review, however It's so frustrating watching constant reviews where "It's a great guitar...for the money" is the caveat. It's either a great guitar or it's not? There is a persistent need for people to convince themselves more expensive equals better. I have a Harley Benton with flamed maple neck, locking tuners and coil splitting and blah blah blah (all the things other manufacturers are doing and charging a fortune for) that was less than my Squier and blows it out of the water. I have an Epi that was better than a Gibson Studio and I also have a 97 epi SG p90 that cost £70 second hand that people think is my most expensive guitar. Money and Quality don't always go hand in hand.
I think you might be missing the point on the great guitar for the money. For instance your epiphone is a great guitar for the money, while the Gibson is a terrible guitar for the money. In your case it also sound like the epiphone is objectively better but even so... knowing if you are getting a good return on your hard earned money is worthwhile.
My USA SG p90.....has worst fretwork of any guitar I have owned......its the only "real" guitar I own.....though bought used
very nice !
Thank you! 😍

Just bought an orange one off ebay only $300 ;)
I honestly wish I kept mine...but I had it paired with a vox ac15 and no pedals so it sounded thin as thing gets...no dirt to it at all...looking back..I would have gotten some hot rails or at least like a marshall origin which is what I have now. But I miss this guy..loved the size, cor and playability
Trying to decide between an ex-demo one in Capri Orange (which I guess is from 2018?), and a brand new 2020 one in Seafoam Green which has seen a price drop. Both the same price! Not sure if there’s been any hardware changes during those 2 years.
Thanks for the great demo and review. Seems to play really nicely with effects and the setup you have!
I would totally go for the Seafoam Green! But that's only because that's my favorite finish on a guitar! :D
Thank you so much for the kind words, means the world
The Duo Sonic wears the Capri Orange better than any other Fender.
I think they released the orange in '16?
Mine is a 2016 in capri orange
@@nathanielavery9210 same with mine. 2016 Capri
I got my blue fender duo sonic hs with rosewood fretboard in 2017 . It's definitely the best fender electric I've ever owned. I like it more than the mustang . The switches are just in the right spot, unlike the mustang.
That's one of the "Offset Series" models. It was later moved into the "Player Series" soon after that line launched. I think it's now been discontinued however; recently went missing from the Fender website and a few retailers are showing them as out of stock. Shame, they're great guitars--I have two.
They are making a new series of this guitar. Don't know if it is as good, but if it is, then they are amazing instruments indeed!
@@resqgear1918 Well that's great news.
Indeed! 🤗
nice video!
did you use any effects other than reverb within the first 2 minutes of the video?
I did use a little OCD overdrive for a little bit of dirt. Other than that, that's pretty much it 😄 Thanks for liking the video! 😄
thank you for your reply!
Pleasure is all mine 😄
Great demo! I have one, but I suspect you would make any guitar sound good.
Thank you so much for those words
I had my duo sonic for like a year and was running it through my vox ac15, but this guitar just sounded super thin. I could have swapped out the pickups and added some pedals to clean it up, but alas I sold it. I love the look and playability of this guitar and really regret giving it up. Now i have my squier 70s telecaster deluxe and that thing plays like a dream. Great tone. And I'm running it out of the marshall origin 20h with the mxr 412 and like 8 pedals.
The Duo Sonic might not have been the right guitar for the Vox AC15! I tend to think single coils sound really thin on a Vox unless the amp is CRANKED. I ended up selling the Duo Sonic, but i really regret it!
@@resqgear1918 I know right? I bet it would have sounded great out of my origin and 412 cab. But i just grabbed a sick white and gold epiphone custom
can you please do duo sonic HS variation review and demo? thank you
I'll try and contact Fender to see if that's something they would be up for. As of now though, i don't have the HS available 😔
dude everything sounds killer but how do you control the hum when you turn on the overdrive? Are the pickups not very noisy?
Those pickups are actually not too noisy. I never really treat hum except on the mic for my voice when i have a humming guitar, pedal or amp 😄
I had one but the sound was waaaaay too thin for my liking..some hot rails might help but then I dislike the look..it was tough to sell off I will admit...got along great with dd3
Would you please tell us what amp did you use at the moment and what pedals, I’m sorry by the way hello I am Oswaldo , to me for the price sounds amazing it’s simplistic And can take you close To Gilmore’s sound from Pink Floyd just by the Such an amazing fender Clean sound...... no tremolo right ?
Sorry you said it later 🤦🏻♂️
Haha no worries mate! :D
where was this duo sonic made in mexico?
Is that made in Mexico? Nice demo 🙏🏻
It is/was made in Mexico! 😄
Thank you 😊
what string gauge do you use?
Usually either 9-42 or 10-46 elixirs 😊
I love my fender mustang!!??
I just bought myself this exact guitar, thanks in large part to this excellent video. I saw one come up for sale used in mint condition and had to check it out before saying yes.
It's even the identical tangerine orange color with the mint green pickguard--maybe not my first choice, but as Bonnie Raitt says, "I don't buy 'em for the color."
Thanks for giving such a great review.
[Plot twist: the killer tone actually comes from an amazing reverb pedal :P ]
Thanks for you comment and nice words! (And honestly, it's the best reverb pedal in existence)
Did he say what guage?
I might not have. But I usually use 9-42 elixirs! 🤩
@@resqgear1918On a 24" scale length?
@@hanskung3278wow, slink land😂. How can you possibly play 9's on a 24 scale length?
Where is Anders 😂😂😂
