What should be my next Rock and Roll / Country / Metal song I should react to🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ DROP EM👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Can you react to John Newman - Love Me Again, my son and him are friends and grew up together. ua-cam.com/video/CfihYWRWRTQ/v-deo.html
Aerosmith - Seasons of Wither or Love in an Elevator.
You should do Sabaton: Lost Battalion. It is a metal song that is from the perspective of a soldier recounting his nightmarish war experience. It is a mixture of hope, respect, determination, and horror when you listen to the lyric of what the soldier and his comrades go through
React to winters tale by queen
Please react to Queen the miracle and it's a kind of magic and if you haven't already radio ga ga
This song gives me chills every time i listen to it.
Me too. If this song doesn't stir up deep emotions, I'm not sure what will. Brian May is an excellent songwriter and a nice touch having Brian sing the beginning.
Me too, every time. Especially because Freddie died so young.
katiejepson So agreed! :)
Me too. I think every one with taste of music would get chills.
Brian May has the voice of an angel
especially during all dead, he is a very great guy
@_K I L L E R • Q U E E N_ well, who isn’t? 😊
Seems somebody hasn't seen "Highlander" yet.
Dr. Disaster Exactly!! Highlander is a fucking classic movie!
Dr. Disaster I love that movie! The title in Spain was “Los Inmortales” (“The Inmortals”)
Splendid movie
Dr. Disaster Highlander movie is good. You should watch the video of the song who wants to live forever. It’s good.
It’s epic bylat
Queen made one of the first diss tracks ever, Death on Two Legs. Give that one a listen.
who was the diss to?
@@randallc522 Their first manager who was basically taking advantage of them and stealing their money. The lyrics are viscous
Yes! I love that song!!!
ResidentSleeper22 their first disstrack was Flick of the Wrist
@@justsomeonewhopopsupeveryw1444 Ah yes, good call.
Written specifically for a movie. Watch the film and the song has a stronger impact. HIGHLANDER
a cult favorite!
Agreed, see if it "squeaks through" after seeing Highlander (1986)
RIP Heather
NO it was not
,that's false information
there can be only one!
@@johnnosiennek7066 you can't just make a claim ohne Gründe, read the fourth and fifth line of this:
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_Wants_to_Live_Forever#:~:text=%22Who%20Wants%20to%20Live%20Forever%22%20is%20a%20song%20by%20the,soundtrack%20to%20the%20film%20Highlander.
I always want to watch The Highlander after listening to this song. There can only be one, and it is Queen.
The scene was good enough, but with this song... it just became haunting.
PASS! This song is a Classic, pure Anthem! It draws you in and you become hypnotized with it.
Love watching people discover Queen. Live aid next please. You're ready..
No he's not. He barely liked this song, which is a great song.
Agreed!! Live aid!! :)
It was Jay Z ft Mr Hudson's Young Forever sampled Alphaville's Forever Young
It’s from the original movie Highlander with Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery they did the music for that movie
Did the Soundtrack for Flash Gordon movie too!
And Highlander: The Series - they used the music from the movie in the TV series.
This has always been my favorite Queen song. I told my mom when I was like 7 that I want to played at my funeral. 27 years and it still gives me chills
The song that you’re talking about is called Forever Young by Alphaville
I was turning 17 18 when thet came out and was just clubbing. Love that German dance cheese. Also 'we are the children of the night' the two anthums of my coming of age.
Queen, Princes of the Universe. Do it.
now!
4:26
I just can't believe how reactors glance over this part. I mean, it's incredible and has so much power.
Written by Brian May.
Alphaville - Forever Young, amazing song.
Watch the movie 'Highlander' and you'll get this song, it'll make much more sense then.
Yeah, that is Brian May singing and on keys!
The first time I heard this song was while watching Highlander - that really gives you the full emotional impact of this song. I can't believe it just "squeaked" through - this song is amazing.
The song is the main theme/theme of the title character from the 80s scifi movie HIGHLANDER, for which Queen made the soundtrack.
That's the reason for the orchestral style of the song.
You have already heard the song, if you have seen the movie.
Queen - White Queen (A Night At The Odeon - Hammersmith 1975)
Best live ever...Freddie and Brian
Oh how I love Freddie !!! ❤️❤️❤️
If you’re undecided about this song, look up the movie Highlander and watch it and look for songs from this movie like Princes Of The Universe, A Kind Of Magic, and One Year Of Love.
Still can't listen to this song after BR movie without tears...
LayedBak, check out any one (better yet, all) of these Queen songs: Stone Cold Crazy, Keep Yourself Alive, Liar, Great King Rat, March of the Black Queen, Killer Queen, Death on Two Legs, '39, Prophet Song, Tie your Mother Down, Millionaire Waltz. Just to name a few. You will not be disappointed.
And two hidden gems...."Headlong" and "Breakthru" Breakthru they are on the back of a speeding steam train, and you can tell the train is hauling ass because of their hair and clothes getting blown. There are of course obvious points that they fast forwarded the train...but not all of it, again if you watch how hard the wind is blowing on them, you can tell that train is moving, I think John Deacon almost lost footing, but regained control. And for Freddie do dance and spin and not bust his ass...impressive....lol It's cool video.
This
Strongly recommend watching Highlander and it will have a much deeper meaning.
Should do a review of Princes Of the Universe. My personal favorite by Queen. So underrated.
This gives me the chills each time - you have to see the live version!!
Please react to One Vision (official video) one of my favorite Queen songs! The music video is super fun to watch
why not the extended version?
Yess the extended version and then the mini docu
This song live from Wembley is Outstanding...if you can believe it sounds even better!
Maybe you don't feel it but you should check out the film "Highlander" though I don't really understand how someone can not feel the intensity of that song. Especially with the double meaning it has since Freddies death. But sometimes it happens🤷🏽♂️Look how he is standing there in the middle of all this, so amazing❤️Maybe you like "Princes Of The Universe" better. Faster, almost hard rock, key changes!
Princes of The Universe basically is the other side of the coin. Being an Immortal is great, all the power, born to be Kings - but you have to watch the love of your life wither away and die - and who wants to live forever?
True! Great variety :-)
You NEED to watch Queen at Live Aid. Especially Radio GaGa . One of Queens greatest live moments . Freddie’s voice and connection with the crowd was legendary.
P.s ABSOLUTELY love your channel!
Love from Scotland 🏴
Most of the songs on their A Kind of Magic album were for the Highlander soundtrack. They each wrote at least one: Roger wrote A Kind of Magic and Don't Lose Your Head, Brian wrote Who Wants To Live Forever and Gimme The Prize (Kurgan's Theme), John wrote One Year of Love, and Freddie wrote Princes of the Universe, and they're ALL really good.
This song was featured in the movie Highlander.... It was about a quest of the Immortals to find just one that would receive the Power to know and feel all living things... Good Movie! 1982(ish)
Off the soundtrack from Highlander 1 1986 the only relevant one in my opinion and one of my all time favorite movies about immortals that can only be killed by chopping of their head !! "There can be only one " which means they fight through the centuries until there is only one left to get the prize it's an amazing flick !! Have a good day man and keep up the good work I really like your reactions man !!
The TV show was good, but yeah skip all other movies
The tv series is a fucking amazing piece of 90s television time capsule.
@@NeaEmrys It really is lol
A little movie factoid: Christopher Lambert is pretty much blind while he acts. He doesn't wear his glasses, has really bad eyesight, and can't wear contacts. Imagine those sword scenes and all you can see is a blur.
Definitely do not watch any more movies than the first. They totally destroy the original story, which is great.
I just showed this to my 78yr old mom yesterday and she luved it.
You need to watch their live version of this at Wembley in 86. Phenomenal.
Damn every fxking time when I Hear Freddie singing, I cry. Even when the Song Is Happy! EVERY TIMEEE🙄😩
I watched live aid Queen. I loved it, I watched it originally when this was first done.
I believe this song was written for the "Highlander" movie. Should check it out, a good movie.
Highlander Soundtrack Queen did the whole movie soundtrack
I love this song, but I respect your opinion man, thanks for the reaction!
Also, from my prior comment, it was a soundtrack for the movie "Highlander" Queen was asked to compose the movie soundtrack,so there were some guidelines as to what the director wanted.
Freddie mercury's voice is out of this world, the king, the goat.
The album this song is from, was the soundtrack for the movie, "Highlander."
Listen Queen-Jealousy. I think It’s the most underrated Queen song 😍😍😍
One of my favourites, a track from Queen's soundtrack of Highlander.
You should listen to the album version. The instrumental outro really adds to it.
Forever Young" is a song from German synthpop recording act Alphaville's 1984 debut album of the same name. The single was a strong hit in Scandinavia and in the European German-speaking countries in the same year.
Thanks a lot!!
i will never get over the fact that John Deacon their bass player was jokingly told to learn the double bass and he actually did it, you can hear him clear as day on this track playing that double bass like theres no tomorrow
If you ever saw the movie Highlander, Queen does the soundtrack.... this music is played throughout the movie,
This was written by Brian May (Queen) for the movie Highlander
Forever Young is from a German band called Alphaville. It was their first hit.
Ok this is weird I woke up with this song in my head I've been singing it all morning then I login to my channel and the first video I see is this SPOOOOOKY. Great reaction man love your vids keep them coming.
The Song you sang was "Forever Young" by Alphaville. They are from my hometown. Muenster in Germany.
This was the big song in the first Highlander movie. The best cover I've heard was Post Modern Jukebox Morgan James.
Every queen song is a pass, I don’t think they had a single bad song.
Come on. They've had many bad songs. I've loved Queen since the early-mid 80's but when people say they've never had a bad song is incorrect.
Body Language (in fact all but two of the tracks from Hot Space) springs to mind.
The Jay Z song was sampled from Rod Stewart's Forever Young
Wasn't it Forever Young by Alphaville?
@@eviak3331 Yes, you're correct.
Please Please react to the live version of this song from wembley
Yes, I agree! React to the Live version. It's way better.
To understand this song, you must watch the film 'Highlander', It tells the the tale of a man that is eternal that loves a woman that isn't and while he remains young, she grows old old and does in his arms......heartbreaking,
This is from the soundtrack for the move Highlander. The slower melody was appropriate for the scene.
I just cannot believe you weren't crazy about this spectacular song from Freddie, Queen, orchestra & choir??? It was sensational to me & MANY other people. It was Brian May who wrote this song & it really is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!
react to the Official Video of Somebody to love. You will be blown away. Fun fact Freddie was inspired by Aretha Franklin to make this
Queen more more more more reactions please more more more reactions i love it when you do that

WWTLF is a line from the movie "Flash Gordon" soundtrack was by Queen
this song brings tears to my eyes, but im a huge highlander fan. in fact the first queen album i got was its a kind of magic.
Killer Queen by Queen is something worth reacting to.
Forever Young was by Rod Stewart. As they say below you have to watch the movie Highlander for the song to really impact you more.
it is one of the last songs freddie recored
or the last one
can't remeber.
Any way you can here freddie is still great while bee-ing terminaly ill
tears me apart every time and leaves me in tears.
Brian May wrote this for the film "Highlander".
This song is very meaningful though. It is so beautiful I don't know how it just skweeked through.
The Four Queen songs I can't listen to without breaking down thinking about Freddie and his death are The Great Pretender, The Show Must Go On, These Are The Days Of Our Lives, and this one! I was getting by watching Bohemian Rhapsody in the cinema next to my friend and then this started playing and that was it, flood gates opened, couldn't stop crying! It's not a matter of who wants to live forever, it's knowing that although he's no longer with us, Freddie will always live forever, in our hearts!
See, Queen was so good they did the music for "Highlander" movie
Another MASTERPIECE
Queen only did one soundtrack: the movie Highlander with Christopher Lambert. They did everything but the cover of New York, New York (Freddie refused). This song was an original for the soundtrack.
Hey Layedbak, love your reactions. I listen to most all types of music. Mostly enjoy rock, especially '70s. It's cool that today's artists sample the classic rifts. Not sure if you know one of the first cross over songs was Walk This Way from Aerosmith and Run DMC. Check it out.
You are joking this song is one of the best of all time with Bohemian Rhapsody, Seven Seas of Rye, Show Must Go On, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, She's the Devil Queen and many more. I have been a Queen Fan since 1974 when I first heard them and a fan of Freddie Mercury who in my opinion is the greatest singer and showman ever. 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
You ought to see it sung live!
DIRE STRAIT - SULTAN OF SWING (STUDIO TRACK)
The song is tied to the film 'Highlander'... who wants to live forever.... when the person you love can't live forever with you.. that kinda thing!
It sounds like the song you were thinking about was 'Forever Young' by Alphaville. (It was my senior class song in 1989.)
This was written for the show "Highlander"
FOREVER YOUNG.. ALPHAVILLE...
You won't live forever so you must watch the movie to really appreciate Freddie's genius for the simple fact he did write it in a cab immediately right after watching the rough cut and how he made it fit into the movie. Also Highlander is available on Amazon Prime if you have it.
Hearing Freddie sing this is like having my still-beating heart pulled from my chest, but it's an agony I would never forego.
Jay’s Young Forever is a flip on Bob Dylan’s song Forever Young (1973)
The song you were talking about is FOREVER YOUNG by ALPHAVILLE
Somebody to love-Queen
Like others have said, you pretty much have to be familiar with Highlander for this song. Imagine living forever. The people you love, the people around you, dying while you live on. You fall in love with a woman, and she ages and fades away while you live on. You can't have children. You constantly have to fake your own death and move to another place to avoid suspicion. You live on...even though you might not want to. So...who wants to live forever?
The melody and lyrics you were singing were from Forever Young by Alphaville.
Squeaking by!?!? This song is ICONIC!!!
Alphaville sung forever young. You need to listen to the live version in Wembley if you haven't already 👍
Next Queen song: One Vision. Metal: Assassin by Muse (The live version from The Mayan)
Yes! Any new Queen fan has to watch the LIVE AID performance and NOT cut it off at the end ::cough cough:: lol and also the Somebody to love 1981 Montreal and Under Pressure at 1985 Wembley. The respect for Freddie and the band will shoot to way new heights.
Umph this one always hurts. Wrote this after his AIDS diagnosis. Crying already.
The music you search is FOREVER YOUNG by ALPHAVILLE
This song doesn't need to be judged.
Listen to it with headphones, loudly and close your eyes.
This song goes under the skin with the epicness of the instrumentals.
from the awesome movie highlander there can only be one.
