this was the batman I grew up with. It's funny how all the superhero media these days try to be dark and gritty but none of them come close to the atmosphere of this show.
Absolutely right. Even the creators of the show say that it was made in just the right time because most shows after the 2000 were much more heavily censored and supervised by the networks.
Great. Since we don't know any numbers our best bet it's "to keep asking and asking and asking until they're foolish not to [do it]", like Andrea Romano said.
@@chrisanderson2204 Try checking out the DC Rebirth Batman Beyond comic series by Dan Jurgens. It really captures the spirit of the show. It has a lot of returning characters and plot threads from the show.
It is. The composers made a bunch of demos before the show even had animation footage ready so the titles of the tracks were not related to any scenes yet but just random titles.
I hope series return I would really love to see cameo of Agent Dick Grayson and Terry together I liked how Grayson had become mentor figure for Terry for short time in comics
I watched this show year 2000. Together with Zoids New Century Zero and Action Man. All 3 had my favorite tracks. This one from Batman Beyond No Future - from Zoids and Action man Greatest hero of them all - intro
This effing slaps. So there *was* an official Batman Beyond Soundtrack that was released? I cannot find that anywhere on any kind of streaming app or music service.
It's a physical CD release only, you can buy it on Amazon and similar platforms. It's a real shame that other Batman media soundtracks are available on streaming services but this one isn't. At least it's uploaded on UA-cam and you can listen to it on your PC or with the UA-cam Music app on mobile. Check out this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL0bbUqXsNHE3xlUY2FwbHWlnBm8PRSBnk.html
@@beyondthesoundtrack Got it, thanks!! Going to try to pick one up. Do you know anything about the unreleased tracks for Batman: The Animated Series (particularly songs from episodes like Robin’s Reckoning)?
I know that a lot of BTAS soundtracks (most of them but not all) are released in multiple volumes, there are lists here: batmantheanimatedseries.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Batman:_The_Animated_Series_Original_Soundtracks Robin's reckoning is in volume 3. These soundtracks are available on music streaming services.
@@beyondthesoundtrack I cannot thank you enough. Unfortunately the editions that are on streaming apps are recut with different tracks. Robin’s Reckoning was left completely out. But, I didn’t know the original releases had so much more. I managed to find volume 3 on Amazon for a decent price. Thank you so much!!! The Robin’s Reckoning episodes mean a lot to me, so having the music from it will be great.
Would you happen to have a clean version of the ost from mind games where terry visits tamaras parents apartment? It was such a calming piece of music, upon noticing that specific ost was reused and remixed in the zeta projects second episode "his makers name". Speaking of zeta, there's next to nothing on that shows soundtrack apart from the main theme This is the theme ua-cam.com/video/mBcbELSExrk/v-deo.html
Batman Beyond was superior over the original one, my only issue was Terry's damn girlfriend, God I hated her. That's the one thing Bruce never had to put up with, was females acting b*tchy all the time, Terry literately tolerates it which makes me hate him sometimes.
Well, it was his girlfriend and he saw something in her. I like that he was committed to her and this is one of the things that makes Terry and Bruce very different.
@@beyondthesoundtrack Yeah but she was still annoying, constantly complaining because he had responsibilities and a job. If he didn't have one she would STILL b*tch. She lacked the understanding of a true girlfriend. If he spent too much time with her, then she would complain about being smothered. I can understand why Bruce chose not to get involved. How would his GF react if she knew he was Batman? She would probably try to make him quit. LOL Batman Beyond had a few snobby female characters, it wasn't just Terry's gf it was Blade or whatever her name was too. That episode Egg Baby Terry had to pair up with her, and she refused to take care of their pretend baby, once again Terry was a doormat and tolerated it. Guy didn't even tell her off, or put his foot down or reported her sorry ass to the teacher like I would of did. I just couldn't relate to him being that way. Terry also needed some better Villains because GOD knows they are all highly forgettable. He didn't have not one villain a lot of people remember, because they are all forgettable villains.
@@raijinthemaster88 I took it as a bit of commentary on how far the young people are going to fall if trends continue. It's common in a post-Phineas-and-Ferb world, but at the time nobody was really making fun of vapid teenage girls except as really broad stereotypes like... yknow, the older sister on Bobby's World. Like, in this future, Dana's one of the BETTER ones among her peers.
@@beyondthesoundtrack it´s a fictional character, not that 'something he saw in her", she was annoying and a burden, it was like terry was a child that needed external emotional validation. The original Batman, Bruce Wayne, is the best, cause he is free to liberate.

The first for the real nu metalish you can get to in a theme song for a TV series in the 90s and I fucking love it.

Because this show was dark/gritty AND had a good story
that's the cyberpunk theme that just permeates every layer of this show, it's really fuckin cool
Is just Batman as Spider-Man.
@@mayotango1317not at all lmfao. Spiderman quips and jokes, batman quips and insults you.
Great. BB really needs a comeback as Unmasked isn't a true series finale and Epilogue wasn't enough closure
Agreed. There must be good stories in between.

Have you checked out the movie 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'?

What a banger!!!
Beautiful
unironically my favorite song of all the times
Bro this is amazing!! How'd you even get your hands on this?❤😎👏
It's part of the DVD and Blu ray extras. There are commentaries, behind the scenes documentaries and more.
What make this music fine and good is the echoes glitch of the the broadcast girl.
