    I live on Vegas now, so happy to hear about all the Native people around me!!! It's sad though to hear her say Native CAMP sooooo much, sounds like jail....... I hope to find Pow Wows in the area, would love to dance in the circle again!!!!

    It saddens me to hear Barbara refer to Southern Paiutes present day land as the "Las Vegas Camp" it has not been refered to as a camp for decades. There is no mention of the lands acquired since deeded the original 10 acres by Helen
    J. Stewart. Barbara was raised on the "The Colony" also refered to as "The Las Vegas Paiute Tribe" not the "Las Vegas Camp".
    You can find the Las Vegas Paiutes Tribe down town property referred to as the "Las Vegas Camp" on historical records such as the "Indian Census Rolls of 1885-1940"
