I’m sure you have heard of it but I copy and pasted the Rainbow bridge concept from google that always makes me feel better. The legend says that when a pet dies, they cross the Rainbow Bridge and are restored to health and youth. They are free to roam and play, but they miss their owners. So they help train the next pet their owner will have, while meeting / reuniting any previous animals or even mutual loved humans like family that the Owner had.When the owner and pet(s)meet again, they cross the bridge and never part again. Regardless of religion or spirituality ❤- plz know your cat wants you to get another cat or dog it’s ok to move on eventually.. I’m only bringing up me to give you an idea of how I cope with this feeling.My dog’s days are coming (he was originally my dads bff but when dad died me and him grew close)but the bridge prepares me.It’s crazy because I’ve had one other dog , and besides one being a Dane and the other a pit - I swear they are identical in behavior. Same for a cat I had compared to my current kitten. But your hell is different. My boys died of old age besides my brothers puppy ramen who drowned due to terrible luck, cancer took my cat and losing a pet early is like losing your child. Dude idk who you are I’m a 28 year old stoner tattoo artist but I feel for you and am here for you. I’m praying for you
Toxic relationship. I traveled over 200 miles to see her and I wanted it to be a surprise and she was back in my home area. I said stay there, I'm coming. Took 7 hours on damn greyhound bus and then she is elsewhere. Has no remorse for my feelings to her and is still a terrible person. I don't need her anymore. But I miss her dog. The dog deserves better.
Damn, I was hoping these would be funny, but this is very upsetting. Why are vets closed on Christmas??? Are hospitals closed too??? Don’t the lives of people and pets matter?
Nope. Only their profits and personal gains. And something about “spending time with family” because it’s ridiculous if you’re an important person (like a medical professional, police officer, etc). Just ridiculous
2023. House flooded on Christmas Eve; ceiling in kitchen started drooping before it popped, water getting everywhere but the bathroom and the bedrooms. Mom freaked out. Went to grandparents’ house. It all worked out. Kinda inconvenient, but still better than this year; this year’s was just mind-numbingly boring and horrendously uncomfortable, followed by a Christmas with my two-faced parent.
My dad died suddenly earlier this year on February 7th. I had an ok Christmas Eve but it just doesn't feel right without him. I really want to watch his two favorite Christmas movies he always loved to watch with us but I'm not sure if I'd be able to sit through without crying because I wish he was here.
My mother has not been in the Christmas spirit ever since my pawpaw (her dad) passed away in June 2014 from cancer. My step-dad's mom passed away from cancer in November 2023 from cancer as well. She didn't even make it to Thanksgiving. My mom is always depressed during the holidays, but she pulled through for me and my brother. She also has some health issues. She can't eat whole food because she accidentally swallows a chicken bone that tore up her throat almost a decade ago. She has a feeding tube, and she puts food into the blender and puts it through the tube so she can get the nutrients she needs and not be malnourished. Before she got her first feeding tube, she lost a ton of weight and dropped down to 90 pounds. The holidays can be tough for me and my brother because our bio dad never calls us to wish us a merry Christmas, and he just got home from deployment from Korea. I will not be surprised if he does not even text us to say merry Christmas. He doesn't even text us to say happy birthday to us. It really sucks.
I had a colposcopy on Christmas eve too confirm cancer cells are present in my cervix. The gift that keeps on giving. Merry Christmas the next one will be better.

My uncle got shot and killed when the robber realized he had nothing worth robbing. That was before Christmas but still. It was terrible
