Well, got news for you, it was Ford HIMSELF that wanted to kill the character off, the reason being that he was tired of playing the character due to Ford himself finding the character thin and not having much depth. A simple Google searching using the term 'did Ford want Solo killed" will bring up numerous articles on respected movie sites about that. As to cinema flops, that will happen when its known the film will end up going to a streaming service. Not to mention. NO ONE HAS THE FRAGGING MONEY TO GO TO THE CINEMA. Tickets cost a min of $11 to go and see, if you are on a concession, and that can go as high as $28 if you are in NY, and that's in the US. Here in Australia for an adult its a min of A$20, or US$13.50. So again, why pay a month of Streaming service to go and see a movie in a cinema when it will eventually come to a streaming service.

Saw the movie yesterday, and I actually felt very sad, because my grandfather introduced me to these films and he passed a year before Dial of Destiny was released, but also happy because it made me feel like a kid again watching this films for the first time ever.

Dial of Destiny may not be the best finale of the franchise, but Harrison still delivers as Indiana Jones regardless of his age.
I really liked it. I would say it's between a 6/10 and 7/10. It's certainly much better than crystal skull.

Imagine a world where Tom Selleck played Indiana Jones instead. George Lucas initially didn’t wanna cast Harrison because he didn’t wanna show any favoritism after the success of Star Wars. Regardless of what we think about “Dial of Destiny,” we all should be thankful that Harrison is not only still with us, but also still able to portray so many great characters. Looking forward to seeing him in the MCU next year!
