Yes! I don't go through the sunburn red phase and just skip to the tan part. Which is cool, I didn't know that getting tan quick was an actual "flex" until a few years back 😅 I am asian btw, tan skin is not preffered, but I actually quite enjoy both tone
Yeah that’s why you guys wear a ton of sunscreen and use umbrellas cause you can get tanned easily unlike white people that usually get burnt so they usually get a fake tan or use lotions to tan
i sometimes rarher get sunburnt now that i am doing sports all day cause now i just look horrible :/
A Flex?
I get tans easily from exposure to sun im confused is that sun damage without sunburn or its just the skin adjusting to higher sunrayes for increase protection
@@engelberthkroeger6817depends. If youre naturally tan/brown and you get slightly darker, that's just body adaption
As a person who get tanned and get sunburn at the same time its sad😢
@@gogho6196 it hurts if u can't really tan 🤧
@@gogho6196 for me I hate getting tanned 😀
Yeah my friends are all pretty pale so they get burnt and I never understood why but I assume that it was the fact that I’m naturally darker than them and I always get really dark in the summer.
same
They are caananites and u a gentile
same
Same
i’m so pale omg all my friends bully me in the winter and call me casper the goust but in the summer i burn a LOT and tan A TON. and then they all get jealous bc i’m more tan then them.
Try cutting out seed oils (canola, vegetable, peanut, grapeseed etc) from your diet and eating more red meat (especially beef) and saturated fat.
Its the opposite here in india, we all envy pale skin😂
@@Josephiah24that’s really bad, unhelpful advice
Come to India
I know from experience if you want a tan don’t risk it because in order to get something you need give something and for me it’s my pain tolerance
I just moved to Florida and got my first good burn after taking my nephew out to the pool… not me breaking off the aloe every hour to run on my arms XD I burn after 5 minutes, don’t ask me why I decided to stay out for an hour and a half without sunblock
I will come to Florida one day just to tan my body
I was genuinely curious about this and this is the first video I’ve come across that isn’t weirdly political so I appreciate the vid 👍
I naturally get a tan and my besties are jealous of me because I tan easily in the sun, while they have to put on chemicals to get a tan or go to the tanning booth.
I wear sunscreen to prevent my skin from getting a tan.
I get tan easily tan color bad
White skin is more preferred around here and I got a friend who got a pure white skin and she'd brag all the time, going on and on about how her sunburn lasts only for a few days and go back to her normal skin colour while we get darker and never go back.. 😀
@Orange Im also naturally tan and prefer not to get darker I think my natural skin suits me better atleast for my face!
Nah, I don't really tan I just become orange :( 🍊
I’m pale naturally but tan makes me look dark and it’s just not flattering on me
I can’t even go a hour without getting tanned asf bruh.
Simple.
You sunburn = cool/pinkish undertone
You burn then slowly tan = neutral undertone
You tan easily = yellowish-olive/warm undertone
i cant tan
i just burn for eternity
Same many ppl here saying they can tan but I can't tan dark but I don't burn either. Don't know.
I've been trying to get a tan for so long xD I was building a large pond in my mums back garden all day mid summer for almost a week, noticed blisters on my back during the 1st day and on the 6th day it was almost destroyed. Fairskin haha
I wasn’t blessed with tanning skin. I’m porcelain and the pain of being burnt numerous times in my life is not worth trying to be tan. Props to those who can tan, the only I am able to have a nice tan is a spray on.
tanning is a sign of sundamaged skin. i even know some easily-tanned people who are looking for remedies on how to prevent tanning or looking for sunscreens that prevent tanning.
just wear spf 50 and you're all good.
porcelain skin is actually pretty, it's just outdated cultural beauty standards that makes you feel this way and nothing wrong with having a skin type that doesnt easily tan.
and in many parts of asia (where most people tan easily) people desire milky pale skin or fair skin and for them many dont see tanning easily as an attractive feature. *it seems like people want what they dont have*
Can’t imagine being harmed by the one thing responsible for my existence. Y’all be safe tho.
😮😂
Lmaooo epic

Iam black so I don’t tan or burn 😊
Honestly I think black skin looks beautiful on black people and that they won't be as beautiful as they are now if they had white skin but for some reason I just don't think black skin don't suit any other race.. 😭 (I got a dark skin myself and since I have the "typical Asian face" I look really unattractive)
wait don't poc tan still? Like don't they still get darker in the summer and lighter in the winter?
Black people do tan and can get sunburns. It won't be as quick as someone who has fair skin but it does happen. Sunscreen is important for everyone.
@America wait hair color has to do with how fast you burn? Is it because people with blonde hair tend to have less melanin in their bodies? I have brown hair and I don't burn nor tan quickly lol
@America yeah I have blue/gray eyes and i needed glasses in first grade.
I sunburn 1 day but then the next day i am really tan
What is up with people shaming? To tan is actually a beautiful thing ❤
Seriously? Nobody actually cares if you tan or not.
It's only because you are so self-absorbed that you even consider you're being shamed. You're really not important, just like the rest of us.
Try to grow up.
i start burning after 10 minutes in direct sunlight 😭
I dont burn even if i havent been in the sun for a long time. I have a natural olive tone to my skin maybe its just genetics too
Then why is it if you spend more time in the sun you stop burning?
I have pale skin but never get sunburn nor tan and i never wear sunscreen.... Instead my skin get brighter and glow in the sun.
And I'm still wondering why?
Same here too, my skin is light (not extremely pale) no matter how much time i spend in the sun, i dont burn easy but i don't tan easy either.
Maybe your undertones or some genes too?
I been curious 🤔 if you burn in say 20 mins (turn red) then how long does it take to turn tan ? Less then 20 mins one would say but 1/2 of that time or more ?
Thank you for this information so, is the damage less because I tan than if I burned?
Nope, still damages
about the same if you tanned. tanning is technically skin damage. tanning can also influence those that do tan to stay outside even longer which results in even more damage.
The sun damages y’all🤦🏿♂️, that should tell you y’all don’t belong here🤷🏿♂️
@@jonathanm.9801 Do you know a way of getting rid of tans? I’ve had my tan for a few years now, I even still have it after 3 years of almost complete lockdown. I wasn’t aware of it till I got made fun and bullied for it every time I have a swimming class…
@@Vtari You should probably just embrace the tan you have now. I’m not sure of any safe way to remove a tan. It’s better that you just maintain the health of your skin as of right now rather than trying to fix something with a quick fix. Sorry to hear about the bullying…
My shoulders to face having fair skin :
But the rest of my body being tan skin :
i get very tanned and very sun burnt it’s not fair

My skin gets burn after 30min outside that's why i always use umbrella 🤦
I tan naturally in the sun by 10 mins im already darker than i was before my teacher was Like hey can you give me ur tan gurl Because She was sunbathing the whole time i was in the water and i got tan and She didnt low key feel bad for my girlies that dont relate but hey i can’t control it
I just stay white
Best answer ever. Just be how you were born and embrace it!
Same, I'm not white skinned but I just stay light skinned no matter how much time I spend in the sun (I dont use SPF). 😢😢
I'm very light skinned ban and my sun tan has been extremely bad.
im swedish and never get a burn only tan
I get burned and after I don’t even get tanned
What are you using on your lashes I need it ASAP
They look longer
3 years ago I used to get tan without having a sunburn but now I do and idk why btw I have fair skin
Easy caanaites cant enjoy the sun
Sure can't, sun gives us life 🙏🏾 and brings them death ☠️ hmmmm something to think about
sadly im the extremely fair skinned gal and its frustrating because for the first time in my life at 26 im trying to tannnnn and its NOT HAPPENING LOL
why? pale skin is beautiful.
Just know that somewhere in Asia someone has the exact opposite problem of yours. It's pretty amusing to think about.
WOW yeah!!!
….and it never will
Im half Hawaiian so i can never burn
I get both lol.
Can you explain why being in the sun only ever gives me freckles everywhere? It doesn’t even have to be a full day out there they just bubble up and make me look like I’ve got dirt on me
because u are type I fitzpatrick.
Lol its bcuz some got a lil black in them and some are dont
I get sunburnt then i get no tan
Hey im confused i got 3neutral and 3warm
I never get a tan or sunburned i use sun scream my skin tone is white
bro I wanted a tan but now I'm red... 😢
I get burnt then it slowly tans
is it possible to learn this power
I’m interested in people’s genetics such as Redheads and Asians as far as tan skin and fair skin goes and why Asians tan easily and why redheads get sunburned easily.
Most Asians have warm undertones which tans easily and most redheads have cool undertones which burn easily
Look up the cellular structure , you will see why they burn and cook in the sun ☀️
Me not caring BC it looks cute on me BC I'm on tan but my skin nope
I tan easily in the sun im outside liek 8 hours aday
I get sun burns...peel skin😢
😢😢😢😢
Yeeeeesssss
Stay out of the sun and avoid skin cancer 👍
I'm sorry Doctor, in Korea tan skin is not beuty 😂😂
Haha she does not support getting a tan, even if you skip the burn phase 😂❤😊
Hello I get a tan very easily and I don’t like it my legs are pretty thighs are pale and the rest of my legs are arms are really dark any tips?
😂
lol just be happy with your skin the tan will eventually fade by itself. just wear some sunblock and also get some sun for vitamin d
can someone give me tips? whenever I try to tan it doesn’t work even if I stay out in the sun for a while I don’t know why it never works on me
You aren’t meant to be tan then. Don’t push it, your skin is pale and doesn’t have the defenses to protect you. I’m pale but I never burn, but will tan if I expose my self daily and gradually, also come from German and Indian decent.
lmao meanwhile many easily-tanned people (mostly asians) are looking for tips on how to stop tanning or remove tans. 😂😂😂😂 just be happy with the skin youre born with.
I’m so inscure of my tan my skin is so ugly btw that’s my opinion
Don't be insecure, if that's your natural tone then it's best to embrace it.
Idk if your tan is natural or from the sun tho.
What if you're pale and don't sunburn? 🤔
What's the problem?
@@palmshoot No problem, other people just seem to think it's weird.
Oh you're Irish White? You must burn all the time
🙄🙄🙄
I have dark skin and i get easily sun burnt.
Same here. I'm light-skinned but I don't get burnt (I don't tan easily either) What is going on?!
I don’t understand. Tan is better than a burn, right? It means less sun damage, right?
I think they are both damage, but a burn is more intense damage.
Skin tanning is a form of sun damage.
Nope! Both are signs of damage.
Sun burn is skin cell being fried with the heat.
Tan is the body rushing to make melanin in response to sun damage.
Sun burnt people the body is too slow or can't make melanin that's the difference.
😍
I tan easily i am not pale but I am not tan either I am in between i wish I lived in America cause in North Africa and the Middle East white skin is preferred like the majority of people prefer it you know and I have to use kojie san and exfoliating lotions and a ton of sunscreen to prevent getting darker our beauty standards are different you gotta do what you gotta do you guys wish you could be me and I wish I could be you this is how life works 😂
Got
Ok so pretty much the less lazy and more you go outside the better you tan and the more lazy and less you go outside the more burn and less tan

It's only the yellow/olive people who can
everyone have the same amount of melenocytes in their body and everyone can tan excluding albino or some other skin deises . the reason behind their tanning or sunburn is in which enviornment they are leaving. it depends on their ozone layer some places ozone can refind uv a but cant refind uv b or uv c so they got burnt
Absolutely bull answer
If uou have a SOUL YOU DONT BURN ❤️🔥 IN THE SUN 🌞
O
Sounds like unfair skin to me .
Must suck to be pale😂
It does!
Sucks more to be dark frfr
I think Europeans are very strange, they have beautiful white skin and even want dark skin,I as an Asian want to get white skin instead of my brown skin now
No we don’t want dark skin lol
@@bunjier4041 really i saw some white women use fake tan or bed tan so much that thier skin become very dark brown and they look wierd 🤦♀️
@@bunjier4041Ireland has the highest proportional use of fake tanning.
I wanna be my own skin color is ok if you're white or black it's doesn't matter
Beauty standards are different around the world
It's not fair skin.
It's pale deficient skin.
Let's get it right people.
Dark skin melanin rich skin is the original default skin type of human beings.
Pale melanin deficient skin is a recent evolutionary mutation that is disadvantageous to human beings in our natural tropical habitats on earth.
It's crazy how something that is pale and deficient has been glorified for so long, and dark skin that is natural and normal has been so demonized and hated!
I guess when those who lack the necessary ingredients (that the rest of humanity has in abundance for thriving in the natural habitats of homo sapiens) feel insecure about their melanin deficiency, they had to find a way to diminish others, those whom they envied, and who had something they lacked, in order to make themselves feel better and superior. Classic insecurity of the bully mentality.
Damn, you're projecting HARD here. Are you really that insecure about being black that you actively search up videos of tanning lmao? That's just so utterly pathetic and insecure.
I hope you learn to deal with your insecurities bro, going the black supremacist racist route is not that.
but pale skin is advantageous in overcast environments. if a natural dark skinned person were to stay in cloudy place then they are at risk of vitamin D deficiency, because the melanin blocks the sunrays that gives vitamin D (in addition the melanin blocking the sunrays also prevents them from getting sunburns or sundamage) and pale people are at less risk of getting vitamin D deficiency. there is a reason why there are mutations for pale skin too.
and what do you think of northeast asians, their skin can be light too but they are not european.
Because your a mutant baby girl it’s not rocket science
I mean.... this is true
