Malagonlong Bridge, Tayabas Quezon

Considered one of this city’s most important heritage sites, Malagonlong Bridge is now closed to traffic after the new bridge across the Dumacaa river was completed. Among the eleven stone masonry bridges found in Tayabas City, Malogonlong Bridge is one of the oldest and longest stone arched bridges. The bridge was built under the direction of the “Ministro del Pueblo,” Fray Antonio, a Franciscan priest, between 1840 to 1850.
