    What kind of glue did you use? Did you just glue the unbraided parts on top of each other and then cover it up with the single string knot in the end?

    • @KnotsStory
      @KnotsStory  2 роки тому

      Hi, I used glue tape. I put the beginning and the end of the strap on top of each other and glued them around the edge, and then I started knitting around the middle part. When the knitting was finished, I opened the glues and cut the extras.

    One question: how much is the distance between the nodes? Because the distance affects the lenght of the cordes 🤷🏻‍♀️? Thank you so much for this video 🙏

    I found the only way to understand how to knot the bottom is to put the video at the slowest speed. Otherwise I couldn’t figure it out

    I don’t understand how you finished the straps. You don’t show it. At the beginning you have the braided handle cords wrapped around the dowel but how do you join them? That whole part of the video is missing.

    • @KnotsStory
      @KnotsStory  2 роки тому

      Hi,
      First, at 0:06, I started weaving the straps, I weaved 2 straps until 0:26, and then I started weaving one side of the bag body on one strap, and ...

    • @staylor1244
      @staylor1244 2 роки тому

      Thank you, but that’s not the part I’m talking about. When the bag is finished, you have 4 braided straps, not connected, so how do you finish the straps where it goes on your shoulder?

    • @staylor1244
      @staylor1244 2 роки тому

      Look at 11:26

    • @staylor1244
      @staylor1244 2 роки тому

      At 11:26, you show 2 of the arms connected but where in the video do you show how you connected them

    • @staylor1244
      @staylor1244 2 роки тому +1

      Can’t see in the video what you’re doing. It’s confusing because you start making a square knot wrap after connecting them to each other. How did you do that?

    Thank you fo sharing. I love the final product.
    Although, I must say as a biginner, I dont find it the tutorial easy to follow: I feel very frustrated as when you finsh the top edge, you do not include in your filming the mot important part of the sides and the thread that need work on and not to work on.
    if that is unclear as reult, I am not in pition to finish the bag.
    would you be so kind as to make a least a step by step written instruction since the sides ar nt fully included in your tutorial?
    it woud make a big difference if you did.
    thnks again🙏

      Hi, sorry to hear that. Please tell me the time of the video that you didn't understand. I will try to explain it.

    • @dianaserra8198
      @dianaserra8198 8 місяців тому

      @@KnotsStory thank you for your prompt reply.
      The time of the video I dont understand is from the top edge to the end.
      after you finish thetop edge, I gather is five raws of double square knot?
      I cannot see from your video, when and how often you leave the last 2 strand loose to use the at later stag to compleate the rounds of the body of the bag.
      As I mentioned, when you work on the sides of the bag, it is not included in te video.
      You dont really need me to go any further in repeating myself: if you watch the video, you will see what I am having problem with the sides of the bag are not included meaning: the video is to narrow to show how you work on the sides of the bag,
      I gathered you alternating the last two strings undone...... I dont really kmow what also to say to explaing it.
      To me this is a new progect & I happened to pick up your design but the way this video is made, rather too narrow in size, to include your demosration in full; and, even if the video is not wide enough, it would compensate if you would kindly include the STEP BY STEP WRITTEN INSRUCTION as you work.
      unless, of course you are just reserving your tutorial only to experienced weavers.
      I hope that you get me now.
      I woud realy like to finish what I have started; is about a week by now that I am doing it til the bottom and undoing it as I am trouble to finish the sides when it comes to joing them. In order to joining the sides I needed to get it right from the begining.
      I do appreciate the time you take to reply to my messages, as I did it over and over so many times, that I lost count of it & I was almost about to give up till I found your reply.
      Please can you put the written instructions expaining your steps as you work?
      it may be a futile request but this will help finish this progect.
      Many many thanks again,

      It's all sorted! thankfully, I managed to work it out but I did it a few days after my message.
      Thank you for offering to put another video; that will be good for new beginners. You have brilliant skills and are very talented in what you do but to teach the skills I think there is plenty room to Improve your communication skills when you do your demonstration videos & you will surely be the first one to benefit as it would significantly reduce the amount of extra explanation to your confused viewers like me. I can only imagine replying to all of your followers to clarifying your demonstration, it could easily turn into an endless job.

      Keep up the good work👍 🙂

    its a nice bag and I really wanted to make it but the video is not a tutorial and I should have known better and watch the whole thing first before attempting to follow directions to make it. Now I have an unfinished bag without a closed bottom I just spent all day trying to do as a xmas gift. for anyone that is attempting to follow this video, don't. you will probably be very frustrated and waste all your cord and hours. I have no idea how I am going to close this bottom,. I am hoping there is another tutorial out there that can be he saving grace but im just really sad..
