I think the reason they're not doing fabric tails and legs is because it's simply not canon to the lore in the show currently. The dolls haven't mentioned going above water at all, nor has land been mentioned. It's almost like they live in an entirely ocean world, so in that case it makes sense. They need more ARTICULATION though even if they don't have legs 😮💨
I just have to laugh that the “summer-like” dolls from mga (pacific coast high) released in winter and the “winter-like” dolls (this line) released in summer
I have to say, this review is pretty professional. I am glad another individual on the EN DollTube (among collectors) creates reviews that are not overfilled with "like" or "I love ..." and presents better camera work with detailed overview of the product. MH collectors/reviewers are often guilty of this and it is not very helpful for people who are curious about any particular doll. I also appreciate you giving suggestions. Companies need to hear criticism in order to get better (or that criticism can help us identify those companies that do not listen so we can avoid them).
I liked the first wave but i was never 100% satisfied. I think that with this one they did a much better job and i'm excited to get a few of them! So far the only one i don't care for is Gwen, the others look very pretty! Still waiting for those legs, tho
I feel like we'll see legs as a gimmick at some point. Probably a jelly tail too. There was hypercolor fabric back in the 90s, it had a heat colour change. 🤔 So glad to see these changes, I may actually grab one of this series.
Mga is giving kids QUALITY it’s about time kids had more diverse dolls and options to chose from! I know children will love all MGA has put out. I missed dolls having quality, born in the 90’s I was lucky to have so many beautiful barbie dolls. Time has change and Mga is definitely taking the lead. She’s gorgeous 🙂

Still not crazy about these dolls. BUT I used to love snow globes as a kid so that tail is kind of making her look cute to me right now lol Also love the earring/ear muffs. Not the biggest fan of the end of the tail itself but I'm actually maybe considering this one!?

There's stacks and stacks of the first line of Mermaze at Walmarts in Canada, no ones buying them. And at $44.97 I won't buy them too. But the Mermaid High dolls are hard to get. I'll get 2nd line Winter Waves Nera though. 😊
Even if they give them fabric tails the face sculpt still on a struggle bus for me, the hair styles and outfit pieces are really cool but they have that death stare embedded in them and it just not for me

For the record I had to edit, because I posted this before I finished watching your video and realized yes they do come with stands which is really cool, and it also is cool that they enclose the tail to keep the joint from loosening!
I like the snow globe in the tail as it does fit the theme. I like that there is now a stand. I would love better articulation and with that they would be amazing, I am fine them being only mermaids and they don’t need that fabric tail. Loveing this line and hope that future waves continue to include some of the characters from the original wave like this one does. I still think that this winter waves line is a bit over priced. Nice review but could you please let us know if they still have the mermaid bra paint underneath the clothes.
These are pretty dolls. I just think they should be able to twist at the waist, bend at the hip and bend at the middle of the tail. I understand that might make them a little more expensive, but I really do think it'd be worth it.
I actually really don't like Kishikko look for the winter line, but I do think Harmonique and some of the new characters look really cute! I'm particularly interested in the pink and dark blue girl- her styling, colors, and introduction in this line with the glitter globe gimmick reminds me a lot of Novi Stars' Tula Toned doll. So like, obviously I need her to display them together. 💖 I really like that these come with so many little accesories like the cosmetics and an actual stand. I understand why not everyone likes the gimmick but I think it's much better executed than the color change tails in the first wave. Like these definitely feel more worth the price point to me than the first wave did. I personally don't feel these need to have legs, not every mermaid needs to have a human transformation and I like that these are more hard fantasy in that respect. I definitely would like to see more tail articulation like Orra's in future releases- it makes sense with this line's gimmick to have less articulation in the tails, but they can easily find creative gimmicks for future dolls that won't limit the posability.
I actually like Mermaze, at least the one doll I have, but I'm not really into mermaids and don't feel inclined to collect them. I appreciate the different tail gimmick, stand, and the accessories. The original purses kinda sucked, but the new makeup stuff looks a lot better. I don't like the tail fins in this wave though.

I want to like this line or least one cause mermaids are my thing but I just don’t, I don’t want them to have legs or anything like that I prefer them to be mermaids but they just need something more for me to like them I hate their tails their faces are pretty so I just hope they come out with one I feel I connect with. Idk what they need exactly besides bending at the knee would help but they need something. Maybe a shadow highish style which is more appealing to me. I hate the tails on this line especially.

I saw Elvira's review about them being cancelled officially and it sent me. So let me spend $100 on After pay and get them all. I Stan her so hard. Now I gotta watch all of them. Fabric tails with legs under would be bomb! But I also dig the snowglobe feature ngl 🤷🏾♂️... The webisodes didn't connect people imo... That's why they failed. Mermaid High was better at that for sure...qasedcftgfccvvbb

I love the new tail and I was one of the 100% hate plastic tail forever people. Those snow globe thing sold me on the tail cuz IMO they just look so much cooler and prettier then hard plastic one side color change tail . Now all they need to do it make sure they get the fin right cuz the fin are still 90% butt ugly. I cannot for the life of me get over how ugly the fin are for some of them. IMO a mermaid line need the perfect tail and fin cuz you aren;t getting any bottome and all you get is 1 tail. It need to be perfect. Now if they do switchable fin....I can live with a few ugly fin (cuz I can switch it out).
I wouldn't want a tail you cam remove bc I buy these precisely BECAUSE they are mermaids. There's plenty of "legged' doll lines already. This is way more creative.

The accessories are so cute..I didn't have any bratz dolls with makeup I don't think.. but honestly most of them aren't open so that might be why🥰
