I am from Montreal, Canada, i lived in Sunny California for 18 months when I was younger, what I missed most was the leaves colors and smells of early fall.
❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed this, it was lovely to learn a bit more about you. Would you consider vlogging any of the yarn shows you go to? I love yarn shows but I have chronic illnesses which means I’m not in a place to go to them at present. So I really enjoy seeing other people’s trips!!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. ❤️ I’ll do my best to vlog the festivals I go to this year! ❤️
I agree, I could never vend at a festival or the like. Too much stress! ❤ loved this Q&A!
I know, right? I have so much admiration for the people who do vend. And I’m very grateful because I do enjoying going to yarn show. ❤️
Loved this episode! It was interesting to hear your answers to these questions. So many peaceful and kind vibes.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Ok. I could make a 5 km list of food I miss from Brasil. But the thing that gets me is this kind of finger food/street food we have in Brasil. We have kiosks selling them everywhere and here in Norway easy food is hotdogs and pizza bits... There are not so many options. But if people want to Google it: coxinha and pão de queijo. The food variety also is amazing. Norway is very poor on that comparing to Brasil. My nightmare is to do this "your season colors", 100% sure will say brown is the best color for me to look amazing 😂😂😂 Really enjoyed the q&a, Aude. ❤ Thank you for having breakfast with me 🥰
😂😂 I don’t doubt that the Brazilian scene food scene is a lot more vibrant! ❤️ Maybe the seasons colour thing would say orange is the best colour for you? How about that? 😂 ❤️❤️
Brit in France here...I stock up on Terry's Chocolate Oranges and I enjoy christmas cake when home for christmas. Proper bacon and good cheddar (which I also stock in my freezer). But yeah I agree on baguettes you have to get niche fancy ones in the UK for them to even compare.
Oh yes, it's hard to find proper cheddar in France, that's for sure!
So lovely to learn more about you and how you got to where you are today!
I'm an American in the north of France, and whenever my (french) husband and I are in the US we really miss fruits and vegetables! It's either hard to find the same variety of fresh produce, or they're terribly expensive! And of course "real bread" (instead of bags of industrial sliced sandwich bread 😅)!!
😂😂 Yes, “real bread”! That’s exactly it!
Just found your podcast and really enjoyed listening to a Q&A first. Also, your stitch markers are amazing ( I directly had to order some)! Looking forward to tune in again.
Thank you!! ❤️ And welcome to the channel!
Hey I'm French too and I've lived in Wales for 20 years. I definitely miss good fruits too. Whenever I go on holidays I eat so many of them 🤣 Nectarines for every meal. I get overly excited at the sight of a fruit stall on the side of the road😂
I so know what you mean! 😂 I’m going in June and I’m already dreaming about all the fruits that’ll be available then. 🤤
Lovely chat, Aude. It’s been good to get to know you a bit more. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings ❤ See you soon
❤️❤️❤️
I appreciate that you wished to share about yourself. It’s interesting to hear about life in other parts of the world, so far away.
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing Aude. I always enjoy listening to your podcasts. I am also knitting the Celeste with left over Peer Gynt. I thought of just making a vest but I think it’s a bit too chunky ?!
Your stitch markers and bags are so beautiful and you should be very proud of your work 👏
Thank you! ❤️❤️ A Celeste vest is such an interesting idea!
This was a fun and interesting video! I really enjoyed it!
❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful episode!
Thank you! ❤️
I enjoy your podcast. Always looking for your bags or a preorder to come back to the shop. I hope that you will announce when they do.
I will. 😊 I’m working on setting up a newsletter to make it easier and more timely.
Great episode!! LOved learning more about you. I have to tell you --I ordered a knitting bag and stitch markers from you, and I was absolutely floored. Your embroidery skills are amazing! I've never seen embroidery so exquisite before! I have my project bag hanging close to my knitting chair, just so I can admire it. Thanks again!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much! 🥹❤️ I'm so glad you're enjoying your bag and markers. ❤️❤️❤️
❤nice show. Iove your project bags and stitch markers.
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Nice episode 😻
Thanks! ❤️
Really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing about yourself. Kept me good company while I knitted on my sweater😊
That’s wonderful to hear! ❤️
This is the first video of yours I've seen and I really enjoyed it. UA-cam suggested your episode. I look forward to seeing your travel blogs! (I'm in San Francisco, CA.) I really love your stick season sweater, but I find myself thinking that I'd want the stitch pattern at the top to run the entire way through the sweater!
Thank you! And welcome! I used to live in San Francisco. I had the best time there! A Stick Season with texture all over would be amazing! I haven't seen anyone who's done that yet. There are a few with no texture at all, but texture all over would look so good! ❤️
Thanks very much , I discovered you on one of your tourist vlogs, and now follow you and enjoy your content.
Thank you! ❤️❤️ I’m so glad you’re enjoying the channel!
You should come and visit Cornwall, it ts quite far but you can come by train or even fly direct from Edinburgh
Cornwall is definitely on my list. 😊 It seems really lovely!
...and not a word about the cats 😼🙀 have you even knit anything for them? 😹😹
OK seriuosly, the cats, have they claimed any of you knits, like a blanked or a sweater? 😹
Enjoyed this video while having a cup of coffee and knitting on my husband’s socks. Best regards from our little Baltic coast. Off to celebrate a traditional wintery fishermens’ fest this weekend 🐟
😂😂😂 The cats were entirely forgotten. 😂 I've never knit anything for them. And yes, one of them has claimed a cardigan but thankfully, it is store-bought and not one of my hand-knits. I keep them well out of reach of the cats. 🐱 Have a wonderful weekend!
I enjoyed your Q and A! Did you get to visit Canada recently ? I thought you planned to come here last year but I don’t recollect any mention of it.
Unfortunately not. We did have plans to go to Canada last June but those plans changed and I didn't go in the end. Another time. :)
Oxford is so lovely, you are going to have a great time! Besides A discovery of witches, have you books/series recommendations based in Oxford? Yay for travelling alone!!
To be honest, I’m so obsessed with A Discovery of Witches that I keep rewatching the series and relistening to the books. 😄 I’ve also been watching a couple of UA-cam channels by people living in Oxford. I really like Ruby Granger on YT. ❤️
oh I will have a look at it! I really like A Discovery of Witches too :)@@bobblesandberries
@@bobblesandberries I started to watch Ruby, she is giving me such cozy vibes! And also the feeling that I grew up in the wrong place 🙈😅
@@theknittingburrow I know right! 😅 I really enjoy her vlogs. Also, did you see there's going to be a new Discovery of Witches book? The Black Bird Oracle. Comes out in July.
@@bobblesandberries I didn’t know! I am currently re-reading them 😅
