    Well explained! I think sometimes the team expects the one heading the meeting to answer all the questions but then why would you require a meeting in the first place. It's the teams job to collaborate, answer the question and help more the project forward. The facilitator is a guide to ensure that happens. Great video! Cheers!

    Very nice video & well explanation, but i am little bit confused between focus group & facilitation how it different from each other . plz highlight on this process too i am feeling quite similarity between two.

      facilitation is - Making a group of people to bring their thoughts forward by conducting effective and
      collaborative meetings. Facilitation is needed even in a focus group where discussion is focused around a topic and participants have some experience and observation over the topic. Facilitator knows who can give answer to which question and he prepares questions accordingly. The facilitator's role is to facilitate to make sure it is collaborative and serves the specific meeting purpose.

      When you are running a brainstorming session for some work estimation, you make people talk and share their ideas. If one does that well it is facilitation. While training trainer may use some facilitation but the trainer also tell a lot. so training is training and some facilitation.

    How do we get feedback about whether what we are doing is working or not? How do you ask the group for feedback without making it all about you?

      You need to bring a culture where people validate understanding regularly if things are working or not!! Do they need to update the way of doing? Like facilitation of Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives serves the purpose to validate daily way of working, product which is developed till now, and process which are getting used respectively.
