This has made me very emotional. The late great Tim, what a wonderful man and kind instructor. And Jennifer was so brave! It’s not easy the older you get and to jump on one of Tim’s elite horses and get stuck in the way she did, absolutely fabulous 🥰🥰🥰

Learned from many clinics with Tim, stickler for rhythm, pace and quiet riding he was brilliant for a good reason! RIP Tim.

We never found out until after we bought our horse (Perryn), that he was used for this video.

@@KiteWeekenders that is awesome. Im hoping hes a good with you as he was with jennifer. Shes pretty good rider. Although shes been doing this since she was a kid, not everybody gets a pony at a young age to learn. But yes, i just love watching jennifer with anything and everybody.

Why was nothing mentioned about her very stationary hands. It was the extremely well trained , forgiving horse that carried the day.
I love her beyond reason but she was just a passenger on board that maintained her balance at the expense of the horses mouth.
Why in the name of God was this lovely animal equipped with a running martingale with a novice on ?
My accolades go out to the horse and her trainers.

It's comments like this that give people ridiculous hang-ups in the first place. Everyone is at their own stage on their own riding journey, and by not being overly critical of every little detail, Jennifer was able to gain confidence with jumping - which was the target of the lesson. And I'm sure Tim put her on a steed that doesn't fuss too much. Snobby remarks are such a waste of life. Was it worth it? The tiny ego boost you got from feeling superior for 2 seconds on a UA-cam comment section? Words hold power. Use them wisely.

@@SlapAlice Sharing good basic horsemanship is ALWAYS worth the wrath of neophytes.Do you actually understand the physics of a running martingale? Like spurs one must earn the right to use it. You have just displayed your abject ignorance. Take your fragile ego back to the merry-g0-round horses, If you put your"feelings" ahead of your mount's welfare ,you don't deserve to ride. I hope these words are powerful enough to penetrate your delusions.

@Klara Skuro soz. think I had pmt that day. :) I just wish there was less judgement and more supportive behaviour in the sport.
