- Many more things to come for this Wagon. I have plans to build up the transmision, clean up the bay, fully built motor, body work, small aero stuff here and there. I cant wait to see where this journey takes me. Getting your project car dailed is the fun part!
Awesome video only have watched this a 100 times, my main question is did you have to cut out the factory transmission mount out and move it?
The fwd wagons and the automatic RT4WD Wagons have the proper location for the transmission mount. If you have a manual RT4WD Wagon the transmission mount will not be in the correct place.
I’m doing this swap in my rt wagon do you have a parts write up or anything I need to start ordering parts
I didn't do a write up. But you can join Real Time Hondas on FB and look at the albums. I have 300+ pictures of the install there.
A true Honda fan, I like that.
Ok do you know if I can buy a RT4WD civic and make it rwd some how???
HELP my rt wagon was stripped for it's rt4wd parts. I want to make it awd again. Anyone know where or what parts I can use
one of my favorite wagons love it
Man how did you fit that in their. What mounts you use? Does drive shaft an rear diff plug an play. Man i want to do this to minds
Appreciate the mention and plug, Josh!
I already in your channel,I have channel too so I hope following
i had a few questions about the ac set up. i have the same set up but having issues with the pulley. are u using d series or b series ?
B series everything
@@rt4wd_wolff my pulley isnt lining up do u have washers or anything installed?
@@swayywit2ys I'm using all the oem crv stuff, so everything fits like oem. Maybe one of your parts isn't from a crv
Just picked up an 89 wagovan, auto (was hunting for a 5 speed originally).
Got it for a steal and love cruising in it, but man.....the rust is real.
I'd love to do something fun like a b or k swap, but fixing the rust would cost 3-4x what the car cost me 🤦♂️.
I do love the little rust bucket though.
Enjoy it for what it is and maybe one day you'll find a cleaner shell. Not worth fixing rust sometimes
How much you want for is 💵💵💵💵💵💵💵????
What motor mount kit did you use
Awesome video, came looking for inspiration and motivation to get my build started again and this is exactly what I needed! Thanks man!
Thanks man! Get it done!
That's strange about the hood. I have an 88 fwd with the lsv and my hood closes fine. Maybe it's the trans huh?
lsv is different than a B20V, pretty sure the cr-v block sits higher, and could be a combination with the trans and how it sits also.
Are your sale this car
Cool car but aren't you being a bit reckless with the speed on the road?
I only did 25mph. Just looks fast because of the fartcan.
Turbo it ??
That is a nice little build. I have a EK 4-door I want to do something similar to. Clean fully built D16 Y7/Y8 head swapped Civic. Nice body kit on coilovers and rims, ect... Just to keep clean,, cruise & lightly get on it sometimes. Nothing to prove, no 2-Step battles. So it lasts 125,000+miles.
Okay bro please send me links for the parts you used cuz I've read online they aren't compatible and yadda yadda. I have a 91 ee4. I wanna consider b or k awd conversion. Thanks so much
What do you mean by you trimmed down the seat?
I disassembled the seat, cut a layer off the bottom of the cushion so I sit down lower in the seat.
I am getting a wagon this weekend and I was wondering what you looked up to find the cheap ebay brace, I plan on putting a full one in eventually but like you said its cheap and it gets the job done but I don't know exactly what to look for/what fits. Is it just a normal EF one?
That blue rules greetings from owner
It's a good color!
Awesome wagon build! I just got my first wagon and I'll be watching your build for inspiration!
Hey fam, what’s your IG? I have two wagons, so I have hella questions 😂
@rt4wd_wolff
@@rt4wd_wolff when I was watching the video earlier, I couldn’t hear anything…I went back and heard it in the video…my bad 😂
Very neat and tidy, love the vid walking through explaining everything! Always love the Instagram content as well. Keep up the good work mate!
Would love to see your take on a lifted Wagon of similar caliber to your CRV
Fuckin awesome just saw your page on ig today also! Good shit man. Just got mine today!
really nice build. which front axles did you use?
DA Integra axles
@@rt4wd_wolff thanks man. much appreciated!
This is so clean I love it
I’ll be looking for one very soon
I’m excited
good eve did you have to mod the pass side bracket to bolt mounts up?
Beautiful build !!! A lot money time and effort!!!🚙💨💨
This thing looks great, man. Love these 4wd Wagons!
How much tint do you have?
It's like 18 percent
If you put a new gasket on the rear taillight and it still leaks, you have a tiny hole or holes in the assembly. Probably in the seam by the rust spot.
do you have a link for the brace in the back of the car? i need one aswell but cant find it
Is it red/orange silt? My 2nd prelude had that, turned out the water pump propeller was dissolved lol
It's like gray/brown
beautiful car man
What transmission mount did you use???? Thanks
In the video I believe I mentioned it. Hasport EFBAWD mounts.
What intake piping are you using?
Oem RT4WD intake
I have a rtawd wagon and I want to do a b20v swap what mounts work ? I have the awd swap mounts for a crx will they work for the wagon ?
I have the Hasport EFBAWD mounts. They worked for me.
Please speak as to what axles you used in the front. Pretty please
So is it awd or 4wd, if awd how did you accomplish that.
It's awd. It was made awd from Honda in the factory.
@@rt4wd_wolff so it's not the realtime 4wd?
@@colinbassman591 it's RT4WD, but that means it's awd. Only trucks are 4x4
@@rt4wd_wolff pretty sure RT4WD meant it's fwd and only engages 4wd upon slip detection, also Honda offered a 4wd crv aswell in a newer model with that one being always in 4wheel drive motion unlike the realtime 4wd.
@@colinbassman591 none of the Hondas have ever been 4WD. It's just a marketing strategy. They are AWD vehicles. The Civic Wagons used a viscous coupler to deliver power to the rear wheels and the newer ones use a clutch pack system that engages when the pressure build-up from wheel slip is enough to engage the rear wheels.
You should sell me this wagon when your ready lol
$15,000 and it's yours 😂
@@rt4wd_wolff oh okay that's the "I will never sell this car" price lol
@@wiscohonda9251 it would have to be a STUPID amount 😏
It’s super sick! Hope I can find a good one for myself soon enough
