crafting the tools early on would have sped things up, but I guess since you were following the tutorial its understandable. If you had crafted the axe at the start and just cut down some young trees then further chopping the long sticks into sticks less time was wasted wandering around trying to find one
Yeah, by the time I realized this, I couldn't help but wonder why the game didn't tell me to craft it right after the simple fire.
tutorial and some menus can be improved but the basic premise is cool and challenging
I can see this game being a lot more fun in the future, I think I'll let it cook.
Co-op might be better for this game unless you can change a lot of the gathering, crafting and survival mechanics to better suit a faster paced in single player mode
Yeah I think single player was a little too challenging for my taste. I didn't see any difficulty settings, either.
really interesting survival game, since you start really primitive lots of things to do before you progress
It looked interesting, but actually playing it, I struggled even with the most basic of things.
I think the possibility of being raided should have been made known early on to give ample time to build defenses
Yeah, that caught me be surprise.
This game actually gives alot of information from the start but most people don't ever read it
Seems like multiplayer is easier with this one as there are a lot of things to gather and because it has a stamina system more people is better

Feels a bit more hardcore survival and slower paced
It was a little too slow for my taste, I think. I was getting frustrated lol
you seem to be always getting distracted by other things at the beginning is why progress feels slower
The ADHD was really kickin' in whenever I got stuck.
Think i'll stick with V Rising or Conan Exiles but thanks for sharing.

Viking survival game? Do you get to raid other villages?
I didn't even think of the possibility of there being other villages. I'm not sure. lol
So you end up washed in another land and start to build your own village is the whole premise?

@XoloQueue find somewhat flat ground in the woods with multiple water collectors for building wells. You will need a lot of water.
