Firewood IS more expensive than electric heating

Many people were upset when I questioned wood burning as a cheap way to heat the house. Some people seemed to think that I was against wood - in fact, I make a lot of fires. But I don't see wood as the best way to heat the house in winter. But it is an excellent complement.
