Stranger is the hardest boss in SF franchise followed by titan and Shadow if we read the lore after finishing the game I have seen and debated that there are some diffrence between our decendent and stranger. stranger is a IQ and hax character while our decendent got shadows physical powers as he is his son and is a natural prodigy in fighting which means he can learn and copy your style instantly
Mnemos' dialogue about this world being destroyed for another one to be created, this cutscene after the bossfight and SF4 trailer show us that this here is the destruction of this world for the world which SF4 displays to be created
you can pass on any set, it all depends on the pumping and the ability to play, as I noticed, the author does not know how to play with weapons like Marcus
For me, the best set (and the set I used to beat Stranger) is Champion of The Pit. If you max out his life steal and his critical, then he’s unstoppable
Btw, if you're using a dynastian or a herald set you can jump and press kick button AFTER jumping to dodge shadow onslaught and get a free head hit on stranger as well. Just make sure you don't press both simultaneously which will result in an upper kick and you won't be able to dodge shadow onslaught.
best way to deal with him is wait for his teleport effect gone he has no throwables or dash like the set. he just jumps towards to you. if you cant dodge his crit attack just get close to him and let him hit you with the handle. its least damage you can take. then he will use shadow onslaught. quickly use the amulet and you will be fine. there is no time limit so be patient.

Clad is Chad for me. No set can match its power. Took me 4 tries and 2 hits per round with help of perks to defeat the strongest and main antagonist.💪 This was 6 months ago btw!😅
Raven of the Looming Night set wins in seconds with high perks, I felt cheap so I surrendered early. I have Precision maxed and Vaporization and Catalyst at high level. It took only one crit activation and the Stranger was defeated on the last critical hit after doing rolling waves twice The Raven set is by far the best set for single round fights, I’ve beat other bosses on impossible with it in just one crit cycle each round I’m going to try to beat stranger with no perks, and then I’ll try with perks, but I won’t go to special sets. I want a challenge
Hey quarantine I hope you read this, I have been playing sf3 for a long time and since you have been aswell, I just want to ask you a question. Don't you think that the final boss is a little underwhelming? Yes I like it but if you think about it, stranger doesn't have a single unique ability, his moves are just like the classic katana, his shadow ability is also not unique. And in the second round, the graphic kinda sucks. I am not trying to be offensive to them, but For me, When I fought shadow, it gave a LOT MORE Excitement than stranger and that's mainly because shadow was completely unique, we have never seen the stuff before that he did, all of his attacks and his giant robot and everything was unique but for stranger, everything is just a little modified version of the old attacks which is completely fine for a normal boss but not for the FINAL BOSS . So please let me know if you also think that fighting shadow was more exciting for you. Thank you
Also, the final animation is good, but is is WAY worst if you compare it to the absolue first animation of the game where Marcus, June and itu fights for the shadow sphere thingy.
@@QuarantineGamingReal Great to see that I am not the only person, I think they should have made Shadow the final boss of the game, if it makes the story and the game too short, than they could have made it so that all 3 plains occurs before fighting shadow and at the end, you fight shadow and I cannot imagine a better boss than shadow to be the final boss since he is the main character of sf2 and it would have been a great way to end this game.

maxed out damage perks on legion combined with liquidator's pendulum does busted enough damage to defeat him before the 2nd dash is ready or if lucky, maybe even before 1st so the amulet only would be used once or not at all
1:57 "the enemy memorizes his combos" here is living proof of this is how powerful the enemy is he only used it twice and it was enough for him to decorate is to block each one

Bro stranger set is available in the new event I need your tips and tricks because only 6000 points is available the rest depends on shadow pass and booster packs which we have to give real money and a elegance booster pack which I cannot find
The sets are not a problem but your way of fighting is, I managed to beat him with just a herald configuration with iaido katana and I didnt use the amulet even once, it took time but it was worth the challenge.
im still in the start of june's plane part 2 and i only have living legend and void warden set, and here people are already using 10+ sets to beat the final boss 💀

I defeated him today after loosing several times with the dynasty haritage level 2 and win with ease Its fire circle ability is just OP, Stranger lost in less than 10 sec juat by standing 😅😅

Shadow from sf2 is old as u see in sf3 may he had son or daughter we also know as descant but he becomes shadow in the beginning,its doesn't makes him his any Relative so who is stranger is really "stranger"🤔🤔
Update: I was able to defeat Stranger with Gloomy Spectre, and it was rather spammy. Phase 1: After dodging his World Slicer Shadow Move with a vertical jump, I would do an uppercut, which was timed to be a critical hit, followed by 1 scrapper, then a forward jump to get away from his invincibility, then a kunai for some time waste, then when he would step forward, a forward jump to get on the other side of him (he would be stuck in doing a sword attack), and repeat until phase 1 completes. Phase 2: Start with uppercut, then over the back throw, 1 scraper, and when he is in air, just stand below him and use pounce or forward leap to get away from meteors. Phase 3: Just stand under shadow mind and it ends before it begins. Phase 4: Stay away from Stranger to bait the Electromines shadow move, roll backwards into leap, or roll forwards into uppercut or spinning move. Phase 5: Approach, over the shoulder throw, Heralds heavy kick move, repeat. Always remember to use Moira's amulet when in a pinch, and always remember to approach, then over the shoulder throw.
if you remember the sequence of blows, then you can beat him on anything, but of course it’s better to use a broken set and consider other sets as losers😒
The second round of stranger is completely boring because we fight with typical "boss always run away and shooting things we should dodge" thingy. And stranger is like a normal heralds with only 1 unique ablity which is dashing attack.

Helm perks: replenishment, rock
