I have a question re: the router bits used for the rebate in the seat and round over on the legs(maloof joint) : did you use matching dimensions, eg a 1/2 rabbeting bit and 1/2 round over, or 1/2 rabbeting and 3/4 round over?

Approximately how many board feet of Walnut did each chair require? Did you use 8/4 exclusively?
AlabamaWoodworker for those chairs I used about 25bdft per chair, yes I only used 8/4 for it

its from the blade hitting the ceramic guides, it happens from time to time
