@@TCTwosomeGolf playing off an 8 right now. Finally went down from a 12 in the last year or so. Now I’m kinda seeing that I need to a bit smarter. I’m kind of wild off the tee haha

yo dude same exact driver with same exact shaft
It’s a great driver! Where do you have your weight set?
Did you play Modus 120S before switching to 120X? Or another brand of shaft?
It was actually KBS Tour 120S before the switch! great shaft until my speed got up there.
Great driver I have the same driver as you, Tyler …. I put my weight in the opposite direction on the toe side. My fitter had me put it in the heel the same as you but on course I found that my Miss is on the toe of the driver so when I put the weight behind where I’m missing it actually gives me a little bit more distance on my mishits because I tend to miss the ball off on the toe side of the driver …so if you can put the weight port behind the part of the driver where you’re missing it I found that that will give you a better distance On miss hits. Ironically, I found that I have an easier time hitting a draw with the weight towards the toe…. Which was not the case in the simulator Bay ! so what I’m basically sharing with you is that you might want to try experimenting with moving the weight around to the toe side when you’re actually playing on the course because if you’re anything like me your on course swing might be different than the swing that you use in a simulator bay! I have had really good success with the weight where it is right now on the course, but I know what to do when I start to hit it poorly. 🤣 Thanks for your support!

That is good to know! It actually has too much bounce for me, I rarely hit the 58 with a square face
It’s based on how Steve Stricker prefers his setup. I guess he’s at one extreme so they just went with that lol.

I just talked about some things I thought were helpful, only reason for the length of the video.
113 with a 7 iron? What do you hit your 7 iron? 250 yards?
With the stiff flex shaft, it was going way too far because of the whipping.. So at that time it was going 195, I didn’t want to hit it that far.

113 MPH with a 7 iron? That may be wrong as the tour average is 90mph. Bryson Dechambeau swings his 7 iron at 100 MPH.
Just fyi, but great video!
It has been a while, so it may have been around 100 mph… but the only reason was because the shaft was way too flexy for me, causing the whip.. not because I’m a hoss! 😂

Carry, no! but total, absolutely. That’s why I don’t play a 3 wood! I hit the 5 wood anywhere from 260-275
