I remember that changing "saves" can corrupt or even ignore the changes made, in a way it was more effective gameguardian, The bad thing is that my Android 14 is a bit strange to use, I'm afraid I won't root it anytime soon like my previous ones

It can corrupt the file if you do something wrong. But you can simply change it back and import it back. Not a big deal. Just keep a copy of saves you value and don't overwrite them.
But doing something simple like changing stats and food numbers is as safe as it gets.
