We bought the Custom Dynamics lower lights for my wife’s 2019 Triglide. Like you, I didn’t really understand the directions so I watched several videos of installing the lights. Nobody showed the part where you connect the white wires under the faring. We decided to take it to our dealer to install the lights and then I saw your video. About one and a half hours later we had the lights installed. Thanks for taking the time to show the complete install.
Another point to doing things to your bike yourself is you learn your bike and get to know your bike. Each task you do you find more out about your bike. A lot of what I have tackled myself for my bike be it maintenance or adding things that make it different and not just stock gives me more confidence and educates me about my bike. Thanks for your channel and for sharing it with us. I enjoy it and I learn from your sharing your own experiences. Thanks Bro!
I bet 10 people have bought lights from custom dynamic because of my bike. I don't get anything for that. I'm just glad to help people and inspire them to make there bike there own.
Custom Dynamics makes some quality stuff - I added the www.customdynamics.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=category+headlamps-auxiliary-lights+led-auxiliary-lights#q=category%2Bheadlamps-auxiliary-lights%2Bled-auxiliary-lights.
Found your channel a few months ago and really enjoy your video’s. Being a mechanic for 50 years and a rider for 56 i think it’s great to see some common sense for a change and a cool sense of humor. Just got my daughter to do my subscription I’m not good with computer. Great job keep going.
It's true. I know you have inspired me to do some work on my bikes. I just had surgery, but as soon as I get cleared by the doctor I will be back on the bike and finishing several of the projects I have started. Thanks for being there 😊.
The lights look and work great. I did the lowers and the fork lights from Custom Dynamics on my 2021 Road Glide Limited. Matter of fact, the bike is almost completely done, except for the latch lights. The wiring is trickier because you have to snake them through the system and remember that your forks turn but the fairing doesn't. Therefore you need to leave slack in the lines to turn the handlebars. Thanks to the assistance of the Custom Dynamics guys, they helped he figure it out..
Good Job I installed these on my bike and watched a few videos and yours was the only one that referenced the aux plug. I could not figure for the life of me why the lights would only signal. the instructions do say it but I was not understanding. I was so close to calling CD and came across your video when I had the phone in my hands LOL. I did not realize there was a dummy plug in the aux plug and your video saved me from sounding crazy on the phone to CD. Again Thanks and I will plug your page on my youtube page for sure/
The directions are as clear as mud! Thank you for going back and describing where the auxiliary power plug was. I have a lot of Custom Dynamics lights on my 2020 Ultra, I am very happy with their products!
I just finally got mine installed!!! Watched a couple guys do there lower fairing lights but no one talked about the white wire with the loop !!! Could not figure out why they didn’t work! Thank god I came across your install ! Figured it out after watching you! Thank you man!!!!!!
@@ProfessionalMonkey I’m watching your Wilbur shock video!!! You honestly love them ! I totally trust you and will buy them if u say so lol !!! I’ve watched ohlin and legends Everyone says something different lol
@@coryanderson7313 I think the thing is that ALL aftermarket shocks are 1000% better than stock. Anything is an upgrade, but if you're running a big full dresser with a fat guy on it, the Wilburs are gonna handle that weight better!
Totally with you on the directions. I can build the building you’re standing in but don’t have the patience to read a bunch of overly detailed directions. Thx man
I found the loosening of the two lower Allen screws not only impossible but unnecessary and was able to fish the wire through the lower easily. I installed the mirrors and windshield trim light as well.
Thank you Brother and Sister Moneky! I really enjoy your channel! I agree, Custom Dynamics is awesome! They replaced a run turn brake that failed at no cost! They even worked with me on phone to troubleshoot!
Sweet, Keep the videos coming. I couldn't afford to buya painted fender, and I wanted the CVO filler panel between the fender and saddlebags, did a little research, and went and bought one off of Ebay, anly been out once or twice because of weather, and got plenty of comments on it. I do love that thing, really cool. The problem is I don't want anything that leaves brackets on my RV floor. The little one would stub her toe constantly...
We used to use the tie downs when trailering but my husband stopped bc he didn't like the added constant pull down or compression on the forks during travel. So we sold ours, but I do believe they still make them.
I just installed these lights on my 2020 ultra limited last week, found out those white wires are new, in fact the instruction with mine had the old system that used the the turn signal harness to power the white lights. But after a quick call to Custom Dynamics help line they help get the right instruction to me. Again great customer service from Custom Dynamics. These lights are a big improvement in lighting up the front of the Bike. Professional Monkey if you would have done this video/ install over a week ago i would have known what the extra (white) wires were for and how to hook them... LOL Your video is very good, hopefully it will help other that might have gotten the wrong instruction with the new version of these light. Custom Dynamics did explain to me that a few got sent out with the old instruction.
Dude....youre nothin but a big ole play baby!!! Keep it up. The hard lower lights are BAD ASS!!! I put em on my sled a couple months ago and got nothing but complements about em. Snip about 6’ off your fish tape for moving wires around (helped me out). Just remember to heat the tape up orange when you bend the hook back in it. 👍

Jameson and gingerale maybe. Dig those lights alot. Which s&s air cleaner did you go with on the limited? Really digging the look each time I see it. Also yes they still have the fork mount tie downs for behind the spot lights, got them on my Streetglide, they help.
I still love your videos even when you choose to be “snarky”. This installation actually showed a little more of the project. Using the tripod was nice.
