Those grandstands have always been like that. I have been watching races there with my dad (he use to race there... 2008 Point Camp.)since i was like 6 months old... a blanket or pillow is a must.
Lichty had a fuel pick-up issue of some sort and could tell they were having an issue during the cautions and had to go off and was lucky to not lose a lap while they were in the pits because when they went back to green the caution came out before they completed one lap and gave them some extra time and tried to come back out but failed to resolve the issue and parked the car for the remainder of the night.... he did win the friday night race which was excellent to watch also.
@TOPGUNCANADA00 Yes I agree that friday was good. Many times ive seen better tho. the track j wasnt there for some reason. Jacox runs a good MSA program and usualy the supers run really good there w alota exitement. Please dont judge the track based on one really bad show. U should visit again. In the spring he usualy runs an all open wheel show thats prety fun.
yeah that motor went sour pretty quick on him, which was upsetting because i was looking forward to him having a good race he seemed pretty pumped up and happy to be there, but it happens.
@lotanota only complaint i have about the track is the grandstands are terrible, very uncomfortable, and need more isles to walk down i felt like i was trapped in my seat for the whole night on saturday
@lotanota yea i think they got alittle red flag happy in that race it seemed for every little reason they wanted to bring out the red flag, i guess to sell more food and beer, i almost think they should change that to a twin 50lap race so they can stop and refuel, and get new tires, that is a lot of laps to ask out of a Hoosier Tire, with cars that run that fast.
The delays was bullshit. They shoulda been throwin the green as the last tow truck left the speedway. From red flags, they coulda had them pushed off n ready to go the same way. The hour they wasted before the features was stupid. Nobody wants to see races at 1:00am. come back for an MSA show next time.

IM SORRY. haha I feel that I pushed you down to see the worst super show in history. I talked it up and said it was a must see. It turned out to be a DONT see. ISMA HAS to change there ways. That was a sellout crowd. they coulda put together a better program than that.

@lotanota friday race was really good lots of passing hardly any cautions i like when they get into lapped traffic,

yeah, i don't know what is going on with ISMA they could host 3 or more races in one week during speedweeks in february. it would be a great time.
