- Footage taken on the 14th July 2006 in Ballina Station, County Mayo. It includes NIR loco 112 with the Cravens departing on the daily service to Manulla Junction; 124 & 181 on a timber, which includes some shunting, followed by the arrival of 134 and 142 on the Liner. There's plenty of activity in the yard as containers are stacked and lifted off the Liner! Hope you enjoy it.!

This is a really nice video and shot very well at that. It really captures the moment in a busy little goods yard to it's fullest effect and a grand day for it at that. @fishplate7 yuor videos are always a treat. Keep up the great work. THUMBS UP!

A very interesting video...thank you for posting it. It so happened that I (with friends from Westport and Buncrana in Donegal had lunch very close to the station around about the time of your video being made. I've not been back since the DMUs took over the passenger service to Manulla, but I hope the branch is still busy. Keep up the good work...it's appreciated on this side of the Irish Sea (I live in Bournemouth, Dorset). Rob.

I am a member, and funnily enough the Dublin meeting this coming Thursday (accessible via Zoom, thank goodness!) apparently will include some footage of goods traffic, so presumably from the early 1970s. I live in London, so this new world of accessing IRRS meetings remotely is wonderful.
If only we all had GoPros or equivalent, back in the day!
