Could you please do an in depth video for the iPad? I’m really considering buying for university and would love to know the advantages and disadvantages that come with it!! Thank you! Love your videos!!!
I absolutely love mine!!!! It's so easy to transport all my stuff for every class all in one place. I used to use the files app, but I bought notability and it's amazing! Although you do use a computer a lot if you need to take online quizzes and such, sometimes certain programs professors have you use require a desktop connection and mobile devices (like iPads) don't work
OMG! In Argentina, we can't leave the house, like NEVER leave the house just for food and medicine. There are polices officer in all beach, lakes, rivers or turist places. We can't even go for a walk or run. You can be arrest. I have been at home since always!!! It's so different! You have so much lucky but be carefull
I don’t get it too. The quarantine rules in my country is that you can’t go out of the house UNLESS it’s for essential needs such as basic food and medicine and when you do get out of the house, you have to wear a mask. Most people wear gloves. All leisure activities are prohibited.
The breakout rooms are so awkward! Especially when the profs pop in and you either have not been talking or just finished your discussion so it's just silent and everyone is staring at each other!
so true! I have a class where all we do is she groups us randomly and we work on an example problem...yesterday we were especially chatty and she popped in in the middle of us ranting about our other professor 😂
Love this! Most creative thing is probably turning our van into my office since I’m working from home, and now I drive to beautiful parks and have my office in beautiful parks and then at the end of the day I can take a nice walk. It’s been a lot nicer than working in the house all the time.
😂😂😂😂i feel you.i always leave the meeting when i hear we have breakout rooms. Then i say my network connection is poor. Not a good thing to do but argh!
At the beginning of all this, I took off all my clothes from their hangers along with my dressers and separated them into keep and rid piles. I then washed all my hangers in soap and water, after they dried I colorized them. Then I separated my donate clothes into those I could sell and those I would just donate. After, I organized all my clothes by style, folded what would get folded and colorized them inside my dresser. Then hung up the rest with a matching colored hangers and colorized my entire closet. :)
Doing a task when you get home is great advice! I've kept "casually productive" through all of this by telling myself "I'll just do just this one thing" (which turns into doing a few other things)
Wow I wish I started making videos when I was back in school. Good work balancing everything! I've been going out on the water every day, too (stand up paddling here in Miami and some kayaking). Good time for home projects, too. Stay safe!
I’m a sucker for laying in bed and “taking a break” for hours but your life hack abt doing something before you lay down has made me so much more productive already!!💓💞
I love that you make such an effort to do nice things for the people in your life, like going out of your way to give them gifts. That's something I've been trying to work on for the past couple of years and you're so inspiring! Great video, as always!! :)
I did some painting projects with my mom! We painted adorable birdhouses and little boxes for jewelry and it was honestly so therapeutic. Continuing to work hard and keep busy, love videos like these!
One time I left a zoom breakout room thinking I had exited the whole lecture and started singing “Sexy can I” but I was back in the main session with my microphone on
I’m waiting for that treehouse video(s). That is such a cute looking space from the outside! I have also been doing home projects. I’m currently on closet number 4.
Breakout rooms can be good but they can also be so bad! And there's no in between. Also I love notability! (I've been importing the powerpoints for one of my classes and just annotating it as I watch the lecture video, it's great)
During quarantine I ordered this paint by number thing from amazon, it surprisingly came pretty quickly. I got it to paint and then give to my grandma for her birthday! It's taking me forever though, because the spaces are so small, but it's a really good way to spent time doing when your bored :D
That's such a good idea! I remember I used to always start those and never finish because they are time consuming! I am sure your grandma loved her gift 😊💕
I met my friend in our cars and we sat in a parking lot and got to see each other. We brought games like headsup or games we could play while social distancing. It was super fun and a great way to see each other safely!
I taught myself to knit! My grandma's basically a pro and I always wanted to learn so with all this extra time I thought I'd give it a go and it turned out to be way easier than I thought! I've knitted 14 squares so far and hope to turn them into a patchwork blanket (which I've calculated will need around 120 squares so I have a long way to go ahaha)
I would love to see you make an updated study habits/ study tips video for us gals doing online classes. I just recently got an iPad to take my lecture notes on and I'm curious on how exactly you color coordinate and write out/organize all your notes, it would super helpful!
Absolutely loved this video! Would love more of these ❤️ the most creative thing I did is really getting in to cooking! Trying out new recipes almost every day and loving it!
Just found your channel in the past weeks. I have been watching a lot of your old videos. Love them. I love telling my mom all about who I watch on UA-cam.
I actually like the breakout rooms, I’m a second yR in the architecture school at UO, we all know each other and breakout rooms and labs is when we get very chatty.
Hey girl! Been loving your videos lately! i’m really considering getting an ipad for next school year and was wondering if you could do a video about yours. like what kind you have, the apple pen, fav apps for note taking etc! ik you have some videos about how you study but one dedicated to the ipad specifically would be so helpful for me and maybe others!! Thanks:)))
Thanks for your positive attitude especially about graduation! I started following you before I moved to Eugene from NC to go to Oregon for grad school to get a feel for what life was like. Definitely not how I was planning on spending spring term, but we'll make it through! Where did you get your white rose bowl sweatshirt?!
You are so welcome! Hope you're hanging in there too..we just got to roll with it. I got my sweatshirt from the duck store a few months ago and it is my prized possession 😍
Breakout rooms are my worst nightmare. Every time someone will say something and then there is silence for a minute before anyone else answers. Even when professors give us discussion questions, we finish them early and just stare at each other in silence and it is the most uncomfortable experience every single time.
I was in a breakout room for my class yesterday and it was SO awkwarddd also i'm planning so much stuff and that's probably what's keeping me sane. like i'm planning to bleach old jeans and make a little aesthetic picnic in the fields next to my house and all sorts of things
I have so many projects and plans but I can't do any of them because I'm still stuck in my college town! 15 more days until I can go home for the summer and start my big to do list!
Wow a true quarantine queen ✨🦋 the most creative thing I’ve done so far is probably try to remove the scratches that somebody did to my car 😩😩 although I have also been making like 10000 batches of brownies in an attempt to create the perfect brownie recipe 😂😂 I’ve been in lockdown in the uk for about a month now and still haven’t found the perfect recipe but we’ll get there in the end 😂 thank you for brightening up my day as you always do with your videos ❤️
This quarantine made me do youtube videos! Im posting a clean with me on Friday and I'm so proud of myself. Ive also made an instagram account, and im working on my bullet journal, so grateful. I hope everyone tries to find positivity within this madness. Love you kiara! Stay safe ♡
Oh my gosh so I live in your neighborhood haha and I’ve passed that treehouse many times on the road behind your house and always saw it over the fence and thought it was so cool 😂 weird coincidence!
Love your videos Kiara! So cool you have a tree house ! You should do a tree house tour! Also would love to see a notability video. I am also trying to modernize the decor in my moms house , she is not a fan but goes with it lol. Stay safe God bless!
Can you do a video of what you eat in a week? I know that sounds strange but I have been struggling to find healthy food recipes for forever now. I just get so overwhelmed looking for recipes on Pinterest and the food you make in your vlogs looks delicious!
TWann was so happy it was so adorable! I love how you filmed your little planting session, they were all so cute. I am so freaking jealous of all your good weather, here in Texas it's been so gloomy 😂kayaking is such a good idea man... I need to find somewhere to do that around me.
Since your graduating I was wondering how prepared you are for life after graduation. Since you do daily lists of todo. I was wondering how advance are you todo list for future plans. Career or more university. Maybe do a video on that.
Fun Seeker still trying to figure it all at...I have a plan but most hiring and programs have been halted due to the virus so I’m kinda in a wait and see time :)
Kiara Madisen true, things are basically on hold. Also since you do lots of UA-cam maybe you can create a buzz and momentum on getting class 2020 able to walk in gradation ceremony with class of 2021 next year. Maybe you can contact you university and ask if they can do a double graduation next year for the class of 2020 for the students that did not get to have their own graduation ceremony who want to come back and walk across stage with 2021 or have class of 2020 have their own ceremony before or after the class of 2021 uses the gradation stage . I’m sure professors and deans would not mined if students from class if 2020 comeback to walk next year.
Do you have the "paper like" screen protector on your iPad? It makes writing on the screen with the Apple Pencil feel more like real paper. I have seen my handwriting get better after getting this screen cover. I got mine on Amazon!
The pollen has been awful for me too! I’m living in the same town as you and my black car is not black anymore. I got it washed and by the time I got home it was yellow again 😭. Also when I drive under the tram cart it scares me so much! Maybe now I’ll think of it as good luck
yes and no....I wore them in LA on a big trip with lots of walking and survived, but they are not the best to walk in for a long time if you have sweaty feet like me 😂
Kiara Madisen ah a few nice days are always the best! I’m definitely making the most of the nice ones during this time & doing what I can inside on the others :) same to you, hope all is well!
hopefully this makes some people laugh: in my last zoom break out room I was the only person with my camera on--one kid literally turned his camera off for the break out room--and not one word was spoken. Then I had to figure out the answer by myself to share with the class bc I was worried no one would talk in the classroom. literally say it louder for the people in the back bc zoom breakout rooms are the worst.
the most creative thing I've done is: first is finish my final degree project which is a project that I have to think about a topic that no one has done before, I've been working on this project for the past 8 months and since I'm a teacher it has to be related to education. I need this project in order to graduate. Second I've been thinking ideas and learning to start my youtube channel this summer XD
@@KiaraMadisen I'm proud and exausted 9 months working on the same project is exausting haha and thank you, I'm so excited for the YT channel, I'll be practicing talking to the camera until summer because I want to vlog my trip to the States from august 2020 until may 2021 :)
The most creative things I’ve done are probably baking brownies and drawing, but I haven’t done much bc I’m drowning in schoolwork 😭 what do you do in breakout rooms? I have some classes in zoom but most of them are lectures and one is a practical (they explain the concepts on how to do the worksheet). One of the lectures and the practical are horrible, they go so fast it’s literally impossible to follow them, let alone understand what you are writing, it’s so frustrating 😞 btw the portrait collage looks great!
breakout rooms are just little small groups so we usually have to have discussions and work on problems together while our teacher can freely pop in and out 😂
Also my most creative thing I've done is probably all my baking stuff, i've started to bake and because my family can't eat all of the stuff, I'm putting it in front of my neighbor's doors and they really seem to like it!
I got mine at whole foods but I think you can find them at Trader joes or any grocery store! I mastered the recipe on Saturday...I put my banana that I mixed with it in the freezer as well and did not defrost the packets under warm water like it said...it worked great and was really good 👍🏼
the most creative thing I've done during quarantine is start a business! I saw a tie-dyed bucket hat on PacSun's website selling for 26 dollars (which is ridiculous if you ask me) so I started tie-dying my own and selling them to my friends for around 10 dollars. it has been a hit so far. I'm a junior in high school so most of my profit is going towards future gas money lol but I'm hoping to keep the business going long enough to pay for a school trip to germany and austria next spring!
The most creative thing that I have made in quarantine is that I knitted a beanie and I have baked different things. But I'm back at work now, which is nice - just not for my veeery dry hands after a lot of hand washing 😅 stay safe!
Although you do use a computer a lot if you need to take online quizzes and such, sometimes certain programs professors have you use require a desktop connection and mobile devices (like iPads) don't work
of course! Stay tuned I want it to be very organized and thorough 👏🏼
I can tell TWann wanted to hug you so bad. So sweet!
I know I cant wait to be less than 6 ft apart one day 💛
Gabriela Hedemann that’s how it should be here in America! Where I live people don’t know how to quarantine the right way!
I don’t get it too. The quarantine rules in my country is that you can’t go out of the house UNLESS it’s for essential needs such as basic food and medicine and when you do get out of the house, you have to wear a mask. Most people wear gloves. All leisure activities are prohibited.
@@makydenparreira5170 lol, true. But I am thankful to be able to leave a little bit.
I love how athletic, active, healthy and positive she is✨ honestly it inspires me so much🥰
Aww thanks 💕
I JUST bought the iPad pro and I would LOVE to see you do an iPad video!! How you take notes/study for exams now that you're using it more :)
That's so exciting! I will for sure be making a video all about it!
The breakout rooms are so awkward! Especially when the profs pop in and you either have not been talking or just finished your discussion so it's just silent and everyone is staring at each other!
omg YES. There is sometimes a lag (or I just don't notice when they pop in) and I'm like woahhh being watched...getting nervy 😂
yaaaa omg!!!!
so true! I have a class where all we do is she groups us randomly and we work on an example problem...yesterday we were especially chatty and she popped in in the middle of us ranting about our other professor 😂
Love this!

Love that! Honestly that sounds like the perfect work balance dream 😍
I hate breakout rooms because we're all just sitting there with our cameras off like..."did you do the reading? No? Me neither."
hahaha so accurate 🙈
That's my math class on zoom everyone basically is using memes as to cover their faces
What’s a breakout room?
@@emt5726 It's a feature on Zoom University, basically the online version of separating into groups to have discussions.
😂😂😂😂i feel you.i always leave the meeting when i hear we have breakout rooms.
Then i say my network connection is poor.
Not a good thing to do but argh!
Also the most creative thing I've done in quarantine: I baked Oat Fudge Bars (like from Starbucks) and they were SO good I highly recommend
omg that sounds so so good...my mouth is actually watering. I need to bake more!
At the beginning of all this, I took off all my clothes from their hangers along with my dressers and separated them into keep and rid piles. I then washed all my hangers in soap and water, after they dried I colorized them. Then I separated my donate clothes into those I could sell and those I would just donate. aww I love that so much! maybe I'll ask my dad if he can build me a bird house to paint 😍
Your videos seriously make me sooo happy during quarantine
aww yay! Thanks for watching Lucy!
omg you're a QUALITY friend, your bday present to twann was so thoughtful!!!
Aww thanks..wanted to make her day special 💕
One time I left a zoom breakout room thinking I had exited the whole lecture and started singing “Sexy can I” but I was back in the main session with my microphone on
no. way. 😂👏🏼
Thank you for all the inspiration !! I’m so excited for the treehouse tour and hopefully room tour soon !!!
omg yes! Filming the room tour this week! Thanks so much for watching :)
I’ve managed to have a routine the past couple weeks and it really keeps me on track with getting things done!
I agree! I think having some schedule/list is helpful too 😊
This brought me such calmness during such a stressful week. Hope you're having a great zoom semester!! xoxo
Good! That makes me so happy ❤️
Oregon’s so beautiful. Sitting here jealous in NYC, lol.
And I'm sitting here wanting to visit NYC 😂
I’m waiting for that treehouse video(s). That is such a cute looking space from the outside! I have also been doing home projects. I’m currently on closet number 4.

Breakout rooms can be good but they can also be so bad! And there's no in between. Also I love notability! (I've been importing the powerpoints for one of my classes and just annotating it as I watch the lecture video, it's great)
So true! It's like playing a game of lottery to see what you are going to get! I love taking notes on powerpoint too when professors go way too fast 🙈
The most creative thing I do during this quarantine is learning how to cook and that has been our mother-daughter bonding since this all started haha
Love that! I love the mother-daughter bonding....my mom and I go on our nightly walk haha
you're my vlogging queen....i literally love you and miss u so much:(

Okay let me know why Oregon was a sunny summer fantasyland in this vlog? Super jealous of your sunny days from New England!!
We had such a lucky week! It has been dreary for a few days again, but hopefully the sun shall return! Hope you're doing well 💕
Kiara Madisen ah a few nice days are always the best!
Then I had to figure out the answer by myself to share with the class bc I was worried no one would talk in the classroom. literally say it louder for the people in the back bc zoom breakout rooms are the worst.
hahaa I love these zoom storytimes...can't wait to tell our kids about this one day 🙈
omg can you do a book haul and recommendations? I really need new ones to read
ohh yes! I have a few on my instagram that I love :)
I love this type of videos🥰
me too 💕 Thanks for watching!
My favorite part of the day.
Love you Addison ❤️
Thanks
That loft is so cool
I know i legit thank my dad everyday for building it for me 😂
omg the treehouse!!!! how freaking cute - im so excited to see it💜💜
I know I can't wait to share the tour :)
the most creative thing I've done is: first is finish my final degree project which is a project that I have to think about a topic that no one has done before, I've been working on this project for the past 8 months and since I'm a teacher it has to be related to education. I need this project in order to graduate. Second I've been thinking ideas and learning to start my youtube channel this summer XD
Wow you have be very productive 👏🏼 So excited for you to start a channel & congrats on finishing your final project...you should be so proud :)
@@KiaraMadisen I'm proud and exausted 9 months working on the same project is exausting haha and thank you, I'm so excited for the YT channel, I'll be practicing talking to the camera until summer because I want to vlog my trip to the States from august 2020 until may 2021 :)
Oh yes ! Video again 🥺 thanks sis kiara ♥️♥️
Glad you liked it! 💛
One of the lectures and the practical are horrible, they go so fast it’s literally impossible to follow them, let alone understand what you are writing, it’s so frustrating 😞 btw the portrait collage looks great!
breakout rooms are just little small groups so we usually have to have discussions and work on problems together while our teacher can freely pop in and out 😂
Kiara please do a skincare and makeup routine!
ohh I need to!! My skin looks so bad bc I've been lazy with my routine so I'll try to step up my game ;)
i love your videos Kiara! You inspired me to start my own youtube channel :)
Yay! That makes me so happy! Best of luck with your UA-cam journey 💕
@@KiaraMadisen thank you so much!!!
I thought you were doing a before/after of the craft cabinet - I was thinking 'that doesn't look bad at all!' :)
haha I should have done a before it was so so bad 🙈
I saw Mastering Physics and CRINGED (bad memories). Loved this vlog.. you're so inspiring!
ugh tell me about it. 🙈 Thanks so much for watching!
I love your videos so much!
Thank you so much!!
Omg yesss I've been waiting for your new video 😍
Also my most creative thing I've done is probably all my baking stuff, i've started to bake and because my family can't eat all of the stuff, I'm putting it in front of my neighbor's doors and they really seem to like it!
Yay! also love your treat baking and surprise idea! Bringing a little joy to others is the best feeling ❤️
Where are those açaí packets from? And also what do you recommend to do so it doesn’t turn mushy like yours
I got mine at whole foods but I think you can find them at Trader joes or any grocery store! I mastered the recipe on Saturday...I put my banana that I mixed with it in the freezer as well and did not defrost the packets under warm water like it said...it worked great and was really good 👍🏼
Your picture frames 🖼 look so cute ☺️
Can you do a video for your ipad app? And recommendations 😁
yes you got it!
Love your video hope you doing well were did you get your shirt from
Love you stay safe
I believe the zoom shirt is from Barstool :) Love ya too & thanks for watching 😘💕
How is katie doing thank you
the most creative thing I've done during quarantine is start a business!
Ahh good for you! I love the productive spirit! Keep up the great work :)
The most creative thing that I have made in quarantine is that I knitted a beanie and I have baked different things. But I'm back at work now, which is nice - just not for my veeery dry hands after a lot of hand washing 😅 stay safe!
oh no...you need to try one of those hand masks or gardeners lotion! Glad you're working...keep hanging in there 💛
@@KiaraMadisen Uh, the hand masks is a good idea! Never heard of the lotion before but maybe I should try it if it's good 🤗👏
Please make a full in depth video on how you make all creative stuff and notes on your iPad
You got it!
Can you do an in depth video of how you take notes on your Ipad and apps you use? I want to invest in one before grad school.
yes for sure :)
Wait, the Zoom shirt! Where can I get one from?
It's from Barstool ;)
