What FLAVOR are your seed beans?

My name is Kendal Johnson, I’m a married 26 year old dad/farmer. I farm with my grandpa (papaw), dad, siblings, uncles, and several cousins. Our operation is called Stahl Farms, a family farm in Southwest Ohio. We farm corn and soybeans with lots of red equipment. My goal is to show a little bit of everything. The good, bad, the fun and the boring days.

We had a seed business, clean up, clean up, clean up.... but, got twice the price for our labor.... and love the 66 and 86 series tractors!!!

That's a belt conveyor correct, not an auger? Don't augers damage beans and reduce germination? Are those beans already treated with every pesticide you have decided to use?

What’s the reasoning for your operation to use bins to store seed vs buying it in pro boxes? I know it’s typical in Canada but you’re the first American farm I have seen do this. Do you get better pricing when you buy it by the truckload?
