Great review. I haven't played anything in this franchise before, but it has caught my eye on more than one occasion. I'm curious: is this the sort of game that demands your full attention for the most part, or would you be able to halfway listen to / watch something in the background while playing? I tend to lean more toward the former type of game these days, although I'll make exceptions for truly great games that require full attention. 😁
In some scenarios you can really fall apart quickly if you take your eye off the ball, but I know what you mean about "dual boxing" I do it heaps with games like No Mans Sky and Endless Ocean sometimes.
It definitely has its moments of frame rate dips but I don't think it takes away from the experience too much. On other formats it has solid performance
Wonderfully articulated review!
Thank you so much! Hope you enjoy the game if you get it!

Nice review my man, I like the character art in this game. Looks a little choppy on Switch though 😅

@@whatsitlikeau Thanks for the info!
It looks similar to Dungeon Keeper
Very much so. Overworld is like Warcraft 3, underworld is Dungeon Keeper. Pretty much a spiritual successor
The game seems a lot of fun but performance didnt seem to be that good
Super fun. Framerate does dip a bit when there's a lot going on. Still very playable, but can get choppy!
