In this TI Precision Labs video, we discuss HDMI® and Dual-Mode DisplayPort
(DP++). HDMI and DP++ are popular video interfaces that can carry both video
and digital audio from a video source to a sink device, such as a
high-definition TV (HDTV) or monitor. Two versions of the standard are:
HDMI1.4b and HDMI2.0. We also cover the three major signaling components for
HDMI devices: transition-minimized differential signaling (TMDS), hot-plug
detect (HPD), and the Display Data Channel. (DDC)

sir i have two question ....
    #
is TMDS frequency is greater in hdmi 2.0 than 1.4 ...and that is the only reason it can carry more data....?
    #
why hdmi 2.0 cable is expensive than 1.4 ...is it for the reason the trick cable for better signal intigrity for high frequency
