The bass line reminds me of The Dead Weather and it makes me think the song is gonna be one of those songs that make you feel 10x cooler than you actually are, but then the chorus comes in... I was slightly dissapointed over how similar it was to the rest of AM, I hope their future music won't be as perdictable

hate me or not for saying this but the line you're so dark but I want you hard sounds tremendously stupid compared to the humbug (or any other album for that matter) lyrics. still love this band, just wish Alex hadn't given up his previous writing style which was the main reason I fell in love with this band in the first place. to be fair, AM is a lyrically decent album, it's just the overall tendency that's bumming me out. still, the song is good, but not 'oh my god why wasn't it on the album' good, guess it's all right. but I am after all still curious of what's next for them and as long as I feel this way, I can never be disappointed.
