Very good video Des. For performance in the iron and high mineralised dirt, this MD is surerb value for the money I think. Stick a Detech Ultimate 13 coil on her and you will get much improved depth ( for a 19kHz MD) , and also keep very good separation/recovery speed too.
Nice Vid mate! I have also the f19 and it's great. Why is your vbreak setting so low? 27 I guess...normally the good stuff is coming from 50 upwards or am I wrong? I wonder ever since what the best vbreak setting is 8) I love to hunt on Roman fields where is lots of Iron and it's unfortunately hard to get the good masked stuff... Cheers
'THAT is a very good Q...'...Thanks too for your positive comment: it's very much appreciated. And the answer I would give is, "I don't know?" They are close: I think the T2 is more prone to EMI and during my many years with it could not really operate it at Full Sens due to said EMI! On the other hand, when I got the F19 shown in the video, it had to be returned immediately due to a 'software depth loss fix / change', and I received the same control box back. It appears less aggressive than the T2 but was still a really sensitive unit to use on my favorite soil conditions, stubble and freshly plowed fields!'
No. Two different designated MDs mate. G2+ operates at 19kHz for very small low conductive targets ( not mid range ) , T2/T2+ operates at 13 kHz , better for deep mid-/high conductors (silver/copper). In high mineralised dirt /heavy iron G2+ all day, espacially if using 5x10 coil. On cleaner dirt and for much greater depth T2/T2+ kills it, as does the FT F75. Personally I prefer the G2+ and the F75. I own both, have done for over 4 years, they're my only detectors.
Great video. Thanks.

i hear you on that foil and bronze, even here in Japan

What car is that?
Great Review, Would you compare it to the Tenetics T2?
