As Indonesian muslims prambanan temple is one of our great heritage. It is part of our identity as nations hence its existence will be preserved and protected forever.
In the island of Java, there used to be many large kingdoms that were in conflict, for example around the 7th century, the Syailendra dynasty, which was a Mahayana Buddhist and the Sanjaya dynasty, which was a Shiva Buddhist. This can be seen from the Borobudur temple of the Syailendra dynasty and the Prambanan temple, which was built by the Sanjaya or Mdang dynasty, which symbolizes competition between both of them. After Sanjaya came into conflict with Syailendra and moved the capital to East Java, it was then changed to Mataram, Kediri, Singosari and finally Majapahit. it should be noted that their religion is not pure Hinduism but after the change of kingdom after kingdom they became adherents of a mixture of Shiva Buddhism and Shinkism mixed with local beliefs. maybe it can be seen now on the island of Bali whose teachings are more or less similar to the teachings of the Majapahit kingdom and its predecessors, namely Shiva Buddha and the local teachings of Tirta (Tagaroa) Indonesian old teaching

there is little information that the Javanese kingdom taught Hinduism to Bali and there was no migration and the Hindus were not defeated because of the war against (the Islamic empire) many at that time were Hindus and Muslims on both sides. it's not a war over religion because religion is everyone's right not an obligation to the king greater from central Java 💪
it is a theory from India about the brahmin theory that spreads the Dharma.. but that theory really doesn't make sense because the Indians do not have a strong maritime culture and on the contrary it is the Indonesians who have a very strong maritime culture. This from Chinese Faxian (Fa-Hsien) in his return journey to China from India (413-414) embarked on a ship carrying 200 passengers and sailors from K'un-lun which towed a smaller ship. A cyclone struck and forced the passengers to move into the smaller ship. The crew of the smaller ship feared that the ship would be overloaded, therefore they cut the rope and separated from the big ship. Luckily the bigger ship survived, and the passengers were stranded in Ye-po-ti (Yawadwipa-Java). After 5 months, the crew and the passengers embarked on another ship comparable in size to sail back to China. A junk (Chinese: 船, chuán) is a type of Chinese sailing ship with fully battened sails. There are two types of junk in China: northern junk, which developed from Chinese river boats,[1]: 20 and southern junk, which developed from Austronesian ships visiting southern Chinese coasts since the 3rd century CE. the Indians and Chinese were very late in terms of maritime affairs and their culture was brought together by Indonesian Javanese sailors.... so we all know that Indian culture is great but there is no need to exaggerate it as it is. Hindus were also fighting in distant lands. One king always tried to defeat the other by treachery, betrayal. And finally the Gujurat muslims and the Arabian merchants established kingdom and had influence in today's Indonesia and Malaysia. That happened in India also. Our Hindus are more responsible than the Muslims for fall of Hinduism in Asia. What took thousands of years to establish is finally almost destroyed. In most of those countries one can find ancient ruins, temple remnants very similar to the Kalingan temple styles. The street and people naming still has similarities to Odisha today.

Before Mataram kingdom, the first Hindu kingdom is Kutai Kertanegara kingdom, second one Sriwijaya kingdom in 3 Century.

kutai is not the first kingdom, the first is salakanagara in west java founded in the first century
