Ha! Every day I wake up I think the same thing. Lol. They are predicting a very harsh winter. It sucks cutting it though when you do not have enough storage area. Now I think we do, at least for the bad part of winter.

The tractor could care less if it is under a roof. It is not warmer under there. Lol. It would just be nice for me because I would not have to brush the snow off of her before pushing snow. Those old tractors were made at a time when people could not afford to build something for the tractors. She is 76 years old and is just happy to still be useful. Hopefully one day I will have a shelter for it but if I were to change what I am doing on that building, it would look even worse than it does now.

Lean-to will come in handy. You will always need room for keeping things out of the weather. On a video, a long time ago, you had mentioned maybe putting lean-tos on both sides of the red garage. I wonder if one of those would be high enough for your tractor?

I enjoy watching him create. That saw and that hammer and his brain have created a most enjoyable place to live. I live with houses on both sides of the street, only separated by a driveway with parking only allowed on one side of the street. No privacy and no parking. Make sure you have double backups for milking. People and equipment. Cows must be milked on schedule.
Well, we just ordered a 2 cow milker (Melasty) and it was not cheap. The back up? We do it by hand. There are a LOT of people on facebook sites up here that "farm sit." If we need to go somewhere, we have it covered. Thank you.

So sorry Melissa is sick on her vacation 😢😢. I was in the ER Monday and this guy was sitting caddy corner to this idiot that as it turns out had some kinda respiratory infection of who knows what, they wouldn't say but I caught whatever it was😢😢. My immune system is really low rn. I just can't seem to catch a break.

When we lived in Florida and all of us kids were going to meet in Illinois and then to Minnesota for a get together on lake Vermilion in 2011. As we left Illinois and it was pretty hot and we stopped in Superior for gas, got out of the truck and it was cold out. Here we were in shorts and people there had coats and sweaters on. I thought maybe we are in trouble for the next week. Had to make a run to Virginia because my wife didn't bring enough clothes. She packed all my things.
Lake superior rarely ever gets above 60 degrees (water temp). If the wind is even slightly blowing your direction, you have free air conditioning. Lol.

I just tie it off so when you pull on the saw it never comes unplugged. If I remember I will show it.

When I was a kid, I was going down the road with tractor and hay baler. A pin in the power steering pump came loose and locked the steering up on a curve. I almost went off the road.

I sure wish I could find a Joe in Michigan to build me a pole barn. The contractors in Michigan are the biggest bull$hitters and the most unreliable idiots that there are. Watching Joe week after week putting up all these buildings makes me realize the jokester that exist where I live.
