I just realized something. Weisshaupt is Hawke's last known location (if you saved him) and Varric mentioned that there is something big happening out there, so maybe he'll be in the game.
I don't see the problem with the game having a central hub. Inquisition had two, Haven and then Skyhold, and it worked great! Not being able to control party members would be really weird in a Dragon Age games. I feel like they would work that in before releasing it. I can't imagine that they would just cut off that big of a part of what makes Dragon Age what it is. It's been in all of the games, even the 2nd which only took place in one city.
Me either! The second I heard it I thought of the DAO camp where we handed out gifts and stocked up before heading back out again (we don't need the open tent when our character hooks up though!)
the kind of central hub destiny has, which leaks are making comparisons to is entirely different though. Its a main menu thing from which you pick missions, rather than something integrated into the game. Which is just one additional peace of evidence that dreadwolf is being scrapped from a failed multiplayer.
Tbh it just seems like Spyro to me. I know that sounds a bit odd but the way in Spyro you had the hub world's you ran around in then then jumped through portals to the levels. Let's be honest it's no different to origins or inquisition where you exit the hub and then pick a destination. I really don't see what all the fuss is about myself
The only thing that really concerns me is the inability to take control of party members. In Dragon Age Origins and especially in Inquisition whenever I didn't feel happy with my current build or class, being able to switch to a character I enjoyed playing as much more was a lifesaver and probably the only reason why I finished Inquisition since it was my first DA game and being able to play as Sera or Dorian whenever I got tired of playing as my tanky knight was great
@@ryguy1483 I get it. I’ll reserve my judgement until actual gameplay, but that would definitely anger a huge chunk of the fan base, in particular PC gamers bc on console the games by nature of the controller are more action based.
One thing you need to remember Jack, is the fact that Solas said that he took over this *branch* of the network. I always took that to mean that there was more then one network when it came to the Eluvians. Maybe there's a branch network for each of the Elven Gods? And that's why he wanted control of the network that Briala was in control of, because it had originally belonged to him? And let's not forget that the Crossroads connecting the Eluvians described in the book (The Stolen Throne), and the ones in the game, don't really match up in description. Which I, personally, took as further evidence that there's at least, two different branches to the Eluvians. (And then there's also all of the mirrors that the Qunari destroyed in the Trespasser DLC.) But this is all my own speculation, so.....
I'm happy you have your accounts back. I've been waiting for this since I saw the leaks today. I love the way it looks. I am looking forward to any new information about it. Having origin stories again would be absolutely amazing.
I'm back! Let me know all your thoughts on this LEAK!? How crazy? Also, if you'd like to check out my EVERYTHING We Know About Dragon Age: Dreadwolf (2022) livestream, it's here: ua-cam.com/video/1LU1HQSewQk/v-deo.html
I don’t know how to feel about not being able to control the team members. It almost makes me feel like they aren’t going to be as personal with you as the past three games have been
I don't mind the DA 2 system, it make charaters make sense. Let's be honest make Wynne a mageknight in heavy armor made no sense. DA3 all characters where the same if they had the same class.
I think they haven't implemented it yet in the 'alpha' build we saw, but imo it still hasn't reached alpha. They might add it later. DA isn't DA without the character control.
I was really unsure about the combat, but looks really promising for an alpha build imo. I think it's important to note that the footage leaked is an early alpha build so not everything is built in such as textures and mechanics. So while I'm hyped, I can understand people's cautious attitude. But I've seen way to many reactionary takes. Hopefully people will warm up to it.
Just to add, this footage apparently is over a YEAR old pre-Alpha Complete milestone. If true, this gives me high hopes we may yet see this game on October/November 2023. I am sure they have an internal target they would want to try and hit.
The combat set off a shit-tonne of red flags for me. If I want a hack n' slash game I'll play God of War or Elden Ring. Dragon Age's charm comes from its traditional rpg, party-based combat and tactics, without it I'm not convinced I will enjoy it the same as previous entries. This is a very bad omen about the game as a whole, the story had better knock it out of the park or the franchise is dead. They had a great formula in Inquisition that just needed perfected and updated, people would have played that. Whatever this is, it isn't what a majority of the fans wanted.
@MrNovember41 a hack and slash like combat can still be an rpg. It will just be faster and more of an ARPG. It was pretty clear they wanted to do this with inquisition as that combat was much more fast pace. I think the best route to be is to make sure they at least implement a tactics mode maybe.
@MrNovember41 Meh. Me personally I prefer real time rpgs like Fallout, elder scrolls etc. I also never really played as anyone but my player. Though I'd hope we can atleast give them tactics
@Prodigy Gamer I agree, I prefer those types of RPGs but I don't think the leaked footage looks bad, especially considering its alpha and apparently pretty old. Hopefully all fans can be happy.
The one thing I hoped they would keep in the combat system was the party control. The ability to control your team really stood out to me personally as defining the style of the first three games. A lot of people stated they wanted the actual tactics control list to return as well. I accepted that the tactical camera might go in Dreadwolf but I imagined it would still retain some ability to control the party members. I know from what Mark Darrah said that actually making the tactical camera was costly on resources and I can understand how they would look at players usage in the last game and not waste the man-hours the next time. But to remove party control completely? I suppose I will have to reserve judgement until I try it. Even so, for me, the story is the main focus and I will try to accept the game as it is and hope the story fulfils its potential. I am really disappointed Trevor Morris is not returning. I wish he knew how emotional and touching his Solas themes were to me. A lot of people wanted Inon Zur back as well. I hardly think we can complain about getting Hans Zimmer 🤣 Yeah Hans... how dare you lol
No, you're not. I'm taking it with a massive grain of salt but if the gameplay is anything like ff15 and god of war, then I'm out 🤷♀️ i hate both those games. If i wanted hack and slash with no real tactics involved, I'd play diablo.
Yeah I was already upset that they dumbed it down for Inquisition, but I was still challenging enough and there was still enough room for strategy that I still enjoyed it.
No, most people are actually uncomfortable about it. If you look at other channels with more views and viewers (no disrespect to Jackdaw) discussing the issue you will see that most of the players loathe the idea.
I still can’t believe it! It’s a terrible shame that it was leaked but… I’m so excited, honestly! I fucking love the Wardens so this is already looking like the best game ever for me!
Honestly, it's not a shame, the fans were getting pissed at the lack of visual information and proof from Bioware. If this hadn't dropped, DA:D fans would have remained frustrated and salty. At least this gives us some hope and excitement, and it probably wouldn't have happened either if they'd given us SOMETHING at the game awards
I'm totally with you, the "central hub" aspect has been part of Dragon Age since Origins. I think the "hack-and-slash" combat is likely an overstatement, and is probably just a natural evolution from the changes already made between DA2 and Inquisition. The only thing I'm nervous about is not being able to switch between characters because that's a really fun and unique aspect of the series that should definitely stick around. However, this could just be a feature not yet present considering it's only an alpha.
@@squeezie_b8895 i think the concern is mostly about the "fully real-time" vs. the pause and play we had in all previous games. Definitely not happy about them making the new game less inclusive than previous ones.
All three previous games had a character "hub", that isn't some multiplayer remnant of Joplin. DA:O was the Camp, DA2 was Hawke's Manor, and DA:I was Skyhold...
I'm so excited about the leaks. As having seen the screenshots, the subtitles that are there are between two people. One being Davrin, which is the one voiced Warden we heard a bit of from the behind the scenes video from Bioware. The other being a person named Rook. Seeing as how there was a rook chess piece on the red Dreadwolf book cover, it seems very likely that Rook is the name of our protagonist. Which is awesome!! Also, I'm personally loving how the UI looks. As well as how the combat looks in the leaked clip. Seriously, so excited for all this.
The combat has me very, very worried. Moving away from Dragon Age's traditional, party-based RPG mechanics in favour of a twitchy, generic hack n' slash approach is the wrong decision. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I hope to god they don't narrow down or constrict our protagonist like they did in DA:II... I hated being confined to Hawke, and limited the story, whereas in Origins and Inquisition backgrounds were so diverse that I had to replay them a good few times to unlock all the different routes and reactions
@@VillianousKitty - The fact the protagonist has a set name worries me. Hopefully it's a moniker as opposed to the character's actual name and we get to choose our race. The big weakness with DA: II was the fact you could only play as a human. They did what they could with the story to make it compelling but it's just not the same as being able to have several potential backstories and charatcer types.
So I'm not going to lie when I heard a base I thought of Skyhold. Or the camp from Origins, or Hawke's house. There always seems to be a base in the game. So yeah, most of this sounds pretty good to me, especially given what I've seen of the leaked footage. Looks like a Dragon Age game to me.
Personally I'm so glad it leaked!! Bioware has shared shit all about anything new. My excitement has been renewed absolutely and my frustration has lessened a significant amount. It's been 8 years, Bioware and life is short!! 🤯
Hey! Finally back to a Dragon Age mindset myself to watch these. Mark Darrah’s coverage of the Alpha Milestone news basically said that missing items and placeholder text etc. we’re to be expected. The milestone mostly meant that the game and its systems were in place, many elements and details were still unfinished. With that and the Destiny comparisons… I’m not really sure the writer or their sources know what they’re talking about in terms of development or BioWare RPG norms.
WB Jackdaw! Glad you got your channel back!! As for the leak, honestly we are all hungry for any information and I couldn't help myself. Besides it really gives you little to no real spoilers when it comes to the game itself. We already know something was brewing in Weisshaupt Fortress at the ending of DAI. So not a shocker that we'd be going there in DAD. Knowing this is over a year ago this footage/pics were taken I am excited to see what it's current state looks like. The character screen looks incredible. And the Hair and Helmet looks GREAT on the character when you compare it to DAI!
Tresspasser Soundtrack traumatized me, bc its so immensly intense and sad. I cannot listen to Lone Elf without tearing up and Solas Dark Theme without my Heart rate going up. The new dude better deliver. Also as someone who played FF15 and ME, i am looking forward to the new similar system.
So good to have you back ! I totally agree about Trevor morris, very sad he won’t be returning because his music was epic and trespassers soundtrack was next level. I’m mostly excited that the origin stories seem to be returning !! Very optimistic after seeing this leak 😁
Welcome back jackdaw!!!! i actually feel very excited and optimistic about dreadwolf after seeing the visual leak and the related reddit write up. it does kind of feel that some of the people leaking these leaks maybe arent that familiar with the series because i think any casual fan would know what a 'mirror portal' actually was, and would know that a lot of the UI is not that dissimilar to the other games, BUT! anyways, the leak, the potential return of origins and having THE Hans Zimmer in the game is all looking like its going to be a very BIG story and I'm very eager to see what else comes out over the next year.
WHAT!!! HANS ZIMMER!!! I JUST FINISHED THE VIDEO. FOR YEARS I'VE THOUGHT THAT THE ONLY WAY I'D BE OKAY WITH THE NEW MUSIC IF IT WASN'T BY TREVOR MORRIS WOULD BE IF IT WAS HANS ZIMMER.
I think the parrying and countering sounds really good and makes the combat feel more grounded. Though I think I speak for everyone when i say blitzing darkspawn with mage abilities is also a very welcome strategy :D
I have no issue with the companions being ai if we can tweak their behavior settings or if the ai is really intelligent. Also the central hub/ iluvians make sence they established that in dai aswell as the leading story going into tevinter and the iluvians,I am concerned with how many times it has been remade an how many people left the game but I do like the hack and slash style gameplay with skill bar like gow if they can add the leveling system with that gameplay it could be really good.
Thanks for covering the leaks in an overview form, I've been trying to avoid the actual screens and video, but it's nice to have some idea of what they contained all the same. I would be very surprised if we can't control our party members in *some* form: I'd guess it's going to look a lot more like Mass Effect this time, giving specific instructions to party members but not swapping over to them. As long as we can still do that, I'll be satisfied, I think, since I only rarely swapped party members in the previous games (mostly to raise my Inquisitor in DAI, lol). I agree with you that comparing the hub to Destiny is pretty strange, since hubs have been a staple of Bioware RPGs for ages at this point, going all the way back to Baldur's Gate II, and those elements have only expanded over time. Anyway, here's to hoping for an early to mid-2024 release, rather than a late 2024 one!
I’m going to take Henderson’s story with a grain of salt. It’s fairly clear he’s not familiar with the DA franchise based on the way he reported details in his story. The person who observed gameplay, however, is completely different. That’s a helluva a lot of detail to make up and it’s hard to misinterpret what you’ve actually viewed-especially as the writer is clearly familiar with the franchise and video game development. I’m getting excited-I hope Dreadwolf drops this year. Based on when the Alpha was confirmed by BioWare, I’m still holding to my belief it drops at Christmas time this year barring setbacks.
Does fully real-time mean we cannot pause in combat? Cause that would suck for someone like me who has ASD and gets easily stressed out in combat and needs to pause to get a grip of the situation. I guess there would be mods in time... Also a shame you can't control companions... that was always how I figured out what build I would want to try next, if a companion actually was more fun to play than my pc.
I think mention of "Hans Zimmer and co" points more towards Borislav Slavov, rather than Hans Zimmer himself. And to be fair, if that's the case, I'm very hyped for new soundtrack. Mr. Slavov is the one behind bg3 soundtrack and I find it outstanding. And as far as I'm aware, he's actually the go-to videogame composer from Hans Zimmer and co.
That relieves me actually. Because Hans Zimmer soundtrack that I know from movies all sounds like 95% the same to me. It's like junk food- very tasty in the first moment, but nothing actually nourishing in there aka the first time you hear a soundtrack by him it's like woah amazing, but once you've heard a couple you realise they all are lacking depth and individuality. Good to know there's actually a separate guy for video games.
Fun, harmless, absolutely not expecting it to happen speculations here Amagine if this said (leaked mission?) takes place after solas triggers a blight to weaken the veil so our protagonist go to weisshaupt to ask for the wardens help ( extended dialogue options if the protagonist was a grey warden themselves ) but then the darkspawn ambush them and the attacking dragon is none other than an archdemon tagging along with the troops !!, infused with red lyruim too and they wanted to chain it to study the lyrium’s effects to figure a way to weakening solas or just red lyrium archdemons are harder to kill in general ? 😂 Man this is so fun and i can’t wait for when bioware releases more offical info, the uproar, the hype, the theories!! So many possibilities with this game and nothing makes me more invested in something like a bioware game,,, damn i missed this 🥹
I felt like they're bringing DA in the mass effect direction, probably because they're also developing the next ME simultaneously. Really the same was happening for the prior 3 games of each series, where they clearly used the same generation for each counterpart.
Welcome back!!! Like you, I’m so saddened to hear Trevor Morris is not coming back. His music for Inquisition is so iconic and nostalgic. I do feel HZ & co is promising, but I will miss TM. I don’t mind the new gameplay/combat. I never really used tactical. And I like the idea of focusing on the control of my character. I mean, that’s more realistic….if you think realistically. Happy that jumping is still incorporated. Hopefully, it will be more fluent than in Inquisition. I am loving all this juicy info. Cannot wait to play this game!
I knew it as did the majority of people in the communityi, ever since those snipets of gameplay from Gamescom 2020 the camera was very similar to GoW 2018, wich is honestly the natural conclusion as the how the series was preogressing ever since DAII. The potential lack of companion control will be felt by both newcommers and veterans of the franchise (in wich I include myself even tho I started the series only a few years back, but I started with Origins) but as long as the combat feels good, is fun and allows for cool moments with the companions I am honestly all in for it, GoW 2018 has a pretty solid combat system and taking into consideration the feature of classes and specializations from Dragon Age we may be looking at something very very fun in the future with Dreadwolf
If we do a quick playback of everything thoses leaks give us : - There are classes, and the grey warden character fighting at Weisshaupt could imply that the character origin stories are back yay - We can unlock and equip skills (up to 4 ?), and some kind of combo can happen - Armor and Guard are two separate attributes ? Could mean that you can get staggered and can stagger ennemies - Everything in the menu look like DAI, we can equip rune/enchant our things, there is lore on items, we can equip rings and belts... - I guess "collections" may refer to the codex (and more), since there is a bag for collectibles ? If there is one it means that craft exist ? - The companions tab is central to the menu, which is good - it's pretty !
We've missed you so much Jackdaw! I couldn't wait to know what you thought about these leaks. Glad to know you recovered your account :D. I want to think this is still very early footage and the final product will be a lot more polished. I'm super excited about getting different origin stories again, this must be from the Warden's!
It'd be nice that if you can pick different races to play, your experiences changes with the race and background of your character like in Origins. If they want to add PVE multiplayer it would be nice to see everyone's builds and how that works with your team. Or race specific PVP like people who picked Qunari within the Qun and people who picked a human mage of tevintar can do skirmishes against eachother. That would add to the game and the whole world building
Several point about the state about the game compared to what is expected from an alpha. Based on the videos of Mark Darrah, I think it means you can play the game from the beginning to the end, but it doesn't mean everything is implemented. Dialogues, textures, 3D model for enemies, animation etc. all of it can be missing from the alpha state. The alpha is here to have a base version of the entire game that you can build upon, it's not an almost finished game that you only need to debug and whose texture you need to clean (which I think would be the beta phase).
Welcome back, Jackdaw, good to hear you again! Regarding the leaks, I'm upset that this was, well, a leak and not an official info-drop from BW, but hey, it is what it is. Leaks themselves look promising, about what I expected from a game built on Anthem's skeleton and some test footage BW themselves released a while ago. The moves demonstrated are on the sillier side, I know plate armour not as encumbering as it's typically presented, but what the person pulls off still looks a bit much. That said, it already looks competent, it's fast and snappy and while it was inspired by GOW2018, it already looks leagues better, the camera isn't a claustrophobic mess and your character is nimble and fluid.
I'm Lowkey kinda worried considering me3 was leaked and they rushed to change it but if it stays to what's been leaked, I'm okay with it. Seems very interesting and I'll be waiting for more news lol
2 companions not 3? Can’t control the other characters, I’m guessing no tactical camera? Sounds like Mass Effect, and I thought Dragon Age did it better
I mostly disappointed that Trevor Morris wont be composing the music for this installment...his music was a big part of why you had all the feels in DAI
Thank you for this! Gosh I'm trying not to get excited but I just can't help it lol I also just watched Absolution, would love to hear your thoughts and breakdown!
I am SOOOO pleased with this news. I really don’t mind if we can’t control our party members in real time as long as they can have some tactical capabilities.
I'm neither here nor there with these leaks. Not to mad not too happy. I've seen the gif and images and reddit post, don't have a problem with them since they don't really spoil anything. and they are supposedly very old. the person that leaked them said this play test was done in very early alpha over a year ago maybe even two years. so the game by now could look vastly different. This is what Insider Gaming didn't account for. They act as this leak is new stuff and it's clear they used the same source. As for the leaks, not impressed. it all looked really underwhelming and I didn't like art design and visuals... but like I said this means nothing since this leaked material is so old.
Hanz Zimmer and Co. probably means Zimmer will be main producer of soundtrack but vast of soundtrack will be made by his colleagues and associatesfrom his production company like Ramin Djawadi( Pacific Rim, Game of Thrones, Westworld ), Benjamin Wallfisch (Blade runner 2049, IT ) Gregson-Williams brothers ( The Martian, Wonder Woman, Aquaman ) or Tom Holkenborg ( Mad Max: Furry Road, Alita, BvS, Snyder Cut ). `Cos i would be extremely surprised Zimmer will do full RPG game with potential different origins all by himself when Dune part 2 just entered postproduction.
Inability to take control of party members? That can't be right, it's literally the one feature that differentiates DA from literally any other game. Would that change the game drastically for the worse? doubtful, but I don't know if I like it. It's like if all of a sudden you couldn't give orders anymore to your squad in Mass Effect. Combat definitely sounds not janky. One of the things I couldn't stand in Inquisition was how dreadful the combat was for anything that wasn't a mage. Definitely a reminiscent from the old MMO project Inquisition was supposed to be and it showed. All in all this doesn't sound too bad, but the whole project still worries me, it's pretty much been stuck in development hell for years, people are leaving left right and center, and it's still not releasing this year plus we haven't seen anything gameplay like, not even a screenshot, just artistic teasers every few years. Still, not much else to do than wait I guess.
@@MerrillDragonAge there was weird stuff because the channel was hacked. figured i'd check back to see if he got the channel back after a while, youtube recommended this video on the first day so all good.
There is so much time between now and beta that anything could change. Hell this leak could change everything. So, I will take this with a mountain of salt. Thank you for the update. There was good news, and meh news. Over thinking it can be bad.
I tend to agree with you, my partner has been a tester for EA a decade ago and said the footage looks more like a pre alpha version of a game rather than alpha one.
@@MalarikFilmsSorry if my wording was confusing, he was a tester 10 years ago (he worked for a year, left because pay was shit and all of the "non-mandatory" overtime).
Jackdaw I’m so happy that you are back ! If you had to guess do you think we will get to go to antiva ? I would be thrilled with that and am very hyped for the game
Anyone else been essentially screwed out of everything they ever bought from ea because of old email being used for origin account? They basically told me they now own and will indefinitely keep my gamertag from accessing any of their online games, ranks, levels and anything I've bought.
Oh man this is so exciting! For me the combat was one of the aspects of DAI that never felt that it reached its full potential. Playing as a warrior feels clunky, and while I adore playing as a mage for the variety of spells and learning to tactically control the battlefield, at it's basic level the combat is just waiting for your mana/stamina to recharge and then hitting a button. I never really used tactical cam unless I was playing in Nightmare difficulty, and while it can save your butt in really tough fights it's a very slow method to get through an open-world game littered with small battles. I think adding a bit more real-time pressure to the gameplay, with smooth animations, would be really fun! I am curious how they will choose to translate this concept to non-warrior classes, but I'm optimistic after this leak
If these descriptions of the gameplay are remotely accurate my excitement for the game just went from "I can't wait" to "Whatever, I am not really interested, maybe I'll play it someday when it is available for next to nothing". Oh well, I am sure there will be many who will love this new combat/gameplay and I hope they will have tons of fun with it. See ya Dragon Age it was fun while it lasted.
I'll be very disappointed if the tactics system has been removed. It's been a much needed lifeline for me since fast combat is very hard on and stressful for my system as I'm very ill. I used the tactics system even for easy and normal mode because, again, it takes some of the burden off of me, and it's the only reason I managed to complete the game on hard and nightmare at all. And I'll be super pissed if two achievements are forever locked off for me because they removed the one tool I absolutely NEEDED to finish Dreadwolf on the higher difficulties.
I’m sure with the dumbing down of tactics to a hack n slash they’ll also dumb down the difficulty. I’m sure you have a much easier time in this dragon age than any before it.
I just realized something. Weisshaupt is Hawke's last known location (if you saved him) and Varric mentioned that there is something big happening out there, so maybe he'll be in the game.
In the trespasser epilogue, Hawke is shown next to Varric, as Varric sits on his "throne" in Kirkwall. So, Kirkwall would be his last known location.
IF he survived.

You are missing two very important things about the leaks Jack.
"There's worse than darkspwan on the way."
"And walls won't hold it back."
There are worse than leaks out there
And ndas won't hold them back
I don’t know how to feel about not being able to control the team members. It almost makes me feel like they aren’t going to be as personal with you as the past three games have been
It's temporary
I despise this new mechanic, if true. They had YEARS on making a backbone to this game. Why take it CORE rpg mechanics? 😤
@@sortilien2099 I'm sorry, but no. Something tells me that Iron Bull would not play similarly as a fucking mage, like Dorian 😂 What?!
No tactics? What on earth? I hope I’m not the only one upset about this.
If you look at other channels with more views and viewers (no disrespect to Jackdaw) discussing the issue you will see that most of the players loathe the idea.
you and only like maybe 3 others, get with the times old man.
@@wesleywarren7227 i got lost in that game even tho I never got lost in origins and 2
I still can’t believe it!
It’s not even hack n slash lol. The warrior combat shown is standard 3rd-person action combat, which is a pretty natural profession from Inquisition.
@@squeezie_b8895 yes that's what I was saying
@@squeezie_b8895 i think the concern is mostly about the "fully real-time" vs. the pause and play we had in all previous games. Definitely not happy about them making the new game less inclusive than previous ones.
All three previous games had a character "hub", that isn't some multiplayer remnant of Joplin. DA:O was the Camp, DA2 was Hawke's Manor, and DA:I was Skyhold...
The leak looks pretty cool. The drop kick was dope and the hair looked so luscious
Dreadwolf book cover? Sorry if this is something everyone knows but i live under a rock, can anyone tell what is this book?
@@vakarianalenko mark darrah had some DA related books with a wolf and a rook chess piece on them
I hope to god they don't narrow down or constrict our protagonist like they did in DA:II...
Life is very short, thats why I’m not understanding what ppl are saying by “ I’ll gladly wait “ .
Agreed
Agreed..tired of waiting at this point. It's been almost 10 years so it needs to get done.
I personally never used tactics or controlled my companions so it's not a deal breaker for me. Super excited about the potential for origin stories!
Praying for better companion AI 🙏🏾
WHAT!!! HANS ZIMMER!!! I JUST FINISHED THE VIDEO. FOR YEARS I'VE THOUGHT THAT THE ONLY WAY I'D BE OKAY WITH THE NEW MUSIC IF IT WASN'T BY TREVOR MORRIS WOULD BE IF IT WAS HANS ZIMMER.
The King is back. I was so worried your channel was gone forever. This is gonna be a big year
An originally multiplayer Dragon Age game rebooted into a single player game
The more things change huh
Yep thats prob why they are talking about it getting pushed back, that pivot alone.
I think the parrying and countering sounds really good and makes the combat feel more grounded. Though I think I speak for everyone when i say blitzing darkspawn with mage abilities is also a very welcome strategy :D
So glad you are well and back with great content! This news made me feel so much better about Dreadwolf's state.
Maybe the leak will prompt BioWare to drop some damage control information or updated gameplay footage.
Welcome back to UA-cam!! :)
I loved Trevor Morris’s music in DAI and sad to hear he’s not returning for DAD.
feel hugged🙆♀. I am happy that everything is okay now. I look forward to new videos from you.😊
Be careful with this type of thing; these companies are known to go after people who talk about leaks.
An anarchist in the wild😳😮
Fun, harmless, absolutely not expecting it to happen speculations here
Amagine if this said (leaked mission?) takes place after solas triggers a blight to weaken the veil so our protagonist go to weisshaupt to ask for the wardens help ( extended dialogue options if the protagonist was a grey warden themselves ) but then the darkspawn ambush them and the attacking dragon is none other than an archdemon tagging along with the troops !!, infused with red lyruim too and they wanted to chain it to study the lyrium’s effects to figure a way to weakening solas or just red lyrium archdemons are harder to kill in general ? 😂
Man this is so fun and i can’t wait for when bioware releases more offical info, the uproar, the hype, the theories!!
I hope we will still be able to pause during combat
I've missed your content. Glad you're back!
Welcome BACK, Jack! And these leaks look pretty GREAT for an Alpha Build.
If we do a quick playback of everything thoses leaks give us :
- There are classes, and the grey warden character fighting at Weisshaupt could imply that the character origin stories are back yay
- We can unlock and equip skills (up to 4 ?), and some kind of combo can happen
- Armor and Guard are two separate attributes ? Could mean that you can get staggered and can stagger ennemies
- Everything in the menu look like DAI, we can equip rune/enchant our things, there is lore on items, we can equip rings and belts...
- I guess "collections" may refer to the codex (and more), since there is a bag for collectibles ? If there is one it means that craft exist ?
- The companions tab is central to the menu, which is good
- it's pretty !
I saw your post about this on twitter but I didn't know you were releasing this today. Lol awesome! Glad to have you back!
Hold up! A nice looking hair??? In a BIOWARE GAME??? that's the thing that made me surprised the most tbh
I'm so sorry to hear of the hack. What a mess! I'm glad you're back!
So glad you’re back. It’s felt so weird without you here.
We've missed you so much Jackdaw! I couldn't wait to know what you thought about these leaks. Glad to know you recovered your account :D. I want to think this is still very early footage and the final product will be a lot more polished. I'm super excited about getting different origin stories again, this must be from the Warden's!
SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU BACK I WAS SO LOST FOR A WHILE THERE
*Lost Elf Theme intensifies*
It'd be nice that if you can pick different races to play, your experiences changes with the race and background of your character like in Origins. If they want to add PVE multiplayer it would be nice to see everyone's builds and how that works with your team. Or race specific PVP like people who picked Qunari within the Qun and people who picked a human mage of tevintar can do skirmishes against eachother. That would add to the game and the whole world building
i kept refreshing to see you cover this!!❤
Welcome back Jack! I didn't notice there were leaks if it wasn't for your video, now I'm hyped!! Thank you!
Leaks and hacks be going around, sheesh. Welcome back Jack!
hahaha thank you!
The gameplay looks awesome.
It almost sounds like Trevor Morris got blindsided. Lame he won't be doing DAD
I'm super excited. I had hoped for Weisshaupt, considering the books and the info at the end of DAI about the Wardens
I'm Lowkey kinda worried considering me3 was leaked and they rushed to change it but if it stays to what's been leaked, I'm okay with it. Seems very interesting and I'll be waiting for more news lol
Loving these leaks. Hope we can get an official gameplay trailer soon
Hearing in hushed whispers in the background makes me wanna play Inquisition again.
Did not mentiones before but better late than you know.
So glad my preferred DA content creator is back
Welcome back! And thank you for the juicy leaks, this makes me very excited.
I think this game is going to be great, but this is the end of Dragon Age tactics and that sucks.
I literally ran to your channel as soon as I saw the post about the leaks!!! You never disappoint omg!! 🙌🙌 amazing video as always!!
2 companions not 3? Can’t control the other characters, I’m guessing no tactical camera? Sounds like Mass Effect, and I thought Dragon Age did it better
Hans Zimmer music, God of War game play... Dragon Age Dreadwolf is aiming to be a universal GOTY and I love it. 😍😍😍
I mostly disappointed that Trevor Morris wont be composing the music for this installment...his music was a big part of why you had all the feels in DAI
Can't wait for clickbait-tubers to cringe at the gif of gameplay from a year ago and mourn the death of "old bioware"
Great to have you back, Jack!
So glad to have you back!! Veeeeery interesting update 👀👀
Should add strategy mode, and take control over companion cause AI comp are dumb as hell. Got a bad feeling about their decision for the game
Apparently this is from *pre-alpha*. Like a build of the game over a year ago. Or so a comment in that Reddit thread would suggest.
When you say that the Game Awards 2020 trailer hinted at four different origins, what exactly do you mean?
So all of that ALSO basically confirms that that other leaker was probably legit too. The one I shared yesterday.
It may be a pre alpha footage, the lighting and missing textures are a dead giveaway it's from early development.
Hack n slash :( dealbreaker. Now we can only hope for an Origins remake
Your r right
Glad you're back, I just resubscribed
Why would you unsub

Full real time combat and not controling your companions? That feels very wrong

Welcome welcome back!!!!!
You're back!!!
no wonder I couldn't find your channel some time ago
@@chrism1966 I really hope so
