Walking to Shenick island in Skerries

Real time walk to Shenick island in Skerries, County Dublin. It is not recommended to make this walk, due to the possibility of being stuck on the island due to the fast incoming tide, that being said, it is possible during low spring tides which occur during a new moon and a full moon when the low tide is at it lowest.
Its best practice to start 30/40 minutes before the due low tide and not to linger on the island. Always let somebody know you are making the walk, what time you are due back and always carry a fully charged phone. You can check out the low tide heights and tides here www.tidetime.o...
