ROCOREN FTW. Awesome power, clean power delivery, low THD, and UL safety listing beat out Anker and Ugreen for me, all at a crazy low price of $35. Nothing compares. Thanks for a great review
Thanks for watching. Yeah, I was surprised by that one.
where did you buy 35 dollars. I paid for 45 dollars

I've been stress testing out the Rocoren 140W for the past few weeks charging the Anker 140w power bank powercore 24k at 140 watts, the apple MacBook pro at 65w and my Samsung galaxy S7 plus at 45w (obviously not simultaneously), but definitely 140watt maxxed out. Yes it gets hot, but so will any other adapter. I appreciate the UL safety listing for USA and Japan. In summary it has performed without any hiccups.👍👍👍
For 35 bucks I paid, the Rocoren is a champ.
Nice and good to hear! Yeah, for the 140W category it has been a good choice for me as well.
Hello are you still have rocoren charger? Is it working fine?
So it DOES support Samsung SFC 2.0 huh?

Great review. I bought the Rocoren to use with my Pinecil V2 soldering iron which can use 140W ERP. It works great.
Nice!
Can you charge your macbook pro with it?
@@hartdr8074 It shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you get a good 240W USB C to C cable with E-Mark chip. Normal USB C to C cables only do 60W, to get above that the cable needs an E-Mark chip in it that tells the charger it is safe to crank up the power. And currently the Rocoren is $38 on Amzaon with their click here for 40% off coupon thing.
I gave you a shout in my latest video dude! I just bought and made a video of the Anker 140 Watt charger, and shared your video.
Nice! Thanks for the shoutout. I see some common content on your channel. So much to make videos about so little time.
@@AllThingsOnePlace I admire the hell outta you man. So much information packed into one video. So much info to share that we wouldn’t know otherwise. Much love dude!
Great work! I can't wait for next PD 3.1 chargers, especially for baseus and ugreen. My baseus finally arrived and so far works great. As always thank you for your awesome (and obviously costly) work.
Thanks, yeah, I still don't have the Baseus one. I need to figure out how to get that one, I don't think it is available here yet.
waiting for this one as well. been itching to impulse buy the baseus though😆
Rocoren is a contender... Kovol is not bad... my money is still with the 2 kings - Baseus & Hyphen X
Yeah, I am thinking about daily driving that Rocoren just to see if it lasts.
@@AllThingsOnePlacehey I'm a fan of your videos I was wondering if you can test hyperjuice products like their 140w charger and 240w portable charger.
@@AllThingsOnePlace did you ever happen to end up doing that? From it's performance and extremely cheap price on amazon right now it's tempting for me to buy and reccomend for friends who need it for their laptop
@@AllThingsOnePlace hi how is your Rocoren 140w now? Any issues encountered?
@@biensantos1132 I haven't used it daily but it still works, I have only used it mostly at low power or to top off my power banks a few times so not heavy use. It has worked when I needed it each time.
Amazing work , love the 140 watt testing was looking at a gaming laptop with 135 watt usb c charging . Can’t wait for the higher outputs to become more popular throughout
Reallllyyy looking forward to that battery test, also the pqs site is looking quite good and is good great interest thank you
haha, yeah, that one has been on a lot of peoples list and thank you!
Note that some of these multi-port chargers like Kovol are cheaping out on the usb-A port, Kovol 140W charger A port is only doing QC2, does not even do QC3. This is why I could not get usb-A port to give me more than 5V on my QC3 only device. I mainly used only the usb-C ports since it's PD mode, but my other 140w chargers have QC3 ports on the USB-A side and this is preferred and better. If you have a chart on these chargers. might be good to note if they are only poor older QC2 port. It's like a cheap gimmic kovol did to make it appear they have 2 ports, but then the 2nd port is not useful bc it's old qc2.
Thanks for that! Yeah, to not go insane checking things I rarely check the USB A ports anymore. I don't own a single QC device that isn't a tester. I check if USB A delivers 5V and at least 2 amps and move on.
Nice. I would like to see your review of an Ecoflow delta 2 charging station.
I would like to understand the efficiency of this big unit when constantly plugged into the grid and used for laptop/phone charging and have the power backup if needed.
Yeah, eventually, I want to get into some bigger stuff like that. I think that is a bit of an over reach for the channel right now! $1k+ to make one video. Of course I would want to test all the features so fully kitted out more like $10k to make this video happen. I added it to the list though. It'll probably be the next version before I get to it.
Thank you for making those videos, now I know what to buy
Nice!
Thanks for the good work! Could you please put Mophie Speedport 120w on your testing list? :) This adapter is somewhat blessed by Apple (sold on their website), so it would be interesting to see if Apple checks quality of products that are sold by their partners. Also, it would be interesting to see how Apple's 140W charger performs too :)
Yes, that is a good point. I will have to check that out. I have had a few requests to look at those now.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Thanks for making the video on apple chargers! :)
I found you channel the day AFTER I bought a Mokin 3-port 65w GaN wall charger.. uhg. I guess those are the ones to avoid. I'm learning a lot about the handshake and also how just plugging in another cable will re-negotiate power down. I used to always keep all ports with cables in even if I wasn't charging. Thanks!
Im thinking I'll try and get a 100w Nexode or the Anker GaN similar offering. The Amazon Basics as a last resort maybe, it seems the switching modes aren't as robust but they do provide clean and safe power.
Is Mokin any good? I don't wanna damage my stuff.
I don’t think I’ve actually tested any mokin chargers yet. There’s some basics to check like safety listings, efficiency requirements. A lot of companies play a little fast and loose with these things. But yeah I think 100w is kind of the ideal size chargers for multiple devices. I just bring my 165w charger everywhere though. The airplane is not impressed with that charger though ha.
I now realize Anker charges more for all the ads, and fluff. I bought the Baseus 100W he features from 2021, as I do not need the smallest, also size dissipates heat better, and this model I have not seen the waveform quality, etc, even from devices 3 yrs. newer.
To top it all off, it was only $40.99
Have you tested Nomad's power adapters? I would be interested to see how they fair. Thank you for your technical overviews, it does help.
I haven't. It looks like they have a 20, 30 and 65W. I will have to check these out! Still looking for that perfect 65W adapter.
It looks like the Anker 717 turned out to have an extremely high failure rate. Mine died within days before I even finished testing. Judging from the amazon reviews many others have had the same experience.
Yeah, that is interesting. I honestly haven't used it, since the others were better, ha.
Kovol charger is $22 currently on Amazon. Had to buy it.
Oh, wow, yeah, that's very inexpensive for 140W. My reviews do tend to float around that value proposition.
Please make a video that explains all the meaning of charger safety symbol on the charger. That would be very much appreciated. Thanks
This video has been in the works for a while now. There are so many symbols all over the world and they've changed over time I am trying to get a good basic set together to cover as much as possible but it is impossible to cover them all!
Thanks for mentioning the single use plastic🌱
Yeah, it is crazy how much they clad these things with plastic sometimes.
what can u even pump 140w into besides a notebook ?
As of now, power banks, if you use a PD 3.1 trigger (decoy) anything that can use 28V.
Great video!! Can you share the PD 3.1 trigger you use?

UGREEN's cables have tested quite well.
Wow that Rocoren is interesting.
Yeah, diamond in the rough.
great video, thanks for the great work
Thanks! This one was a bit rushed, if you couldn’t tell hah.
So i would get better energy efficiency if i use this anker to charge my macbook pro? Does it work correctly with the magsafe cable?
This should work well with the macbook pro and the magsafe cable.
I just found your channel. Great info. Could you please review mcdodo 100w and 120w chargers?
Those have been on the list for a while now. I haven't seen them available anywhere, except direct from manufacturer so I haven't picked one up yet. I haven't gotten into the Ali-Express items yet.
Just to give everyone an update..... I bought the rocoren 140 watt only a month ago. I've just used it to charge my anker 737 portable charger for the first time. It charged the anker to 40% in just 16 minutes at a charging speed of 128%, I'm really impressed with it. I'll add the total finishing time to this comment once it's fully charged. I've finished the charge and it only took 46 minutes to fully charge the anker from zero. The rocoren peaked at 131% and dropped to around 38% for the last ten per cent. I'm seriously impressed with the rocoren, especially for only £25.
Thanks for the update!
@@AllThingsOnePlace you're very welcome, and thank you for all the work you do to help all of us to make better and informed decisions on what to buy.
I have a question for u, can it work continuously when add one device or remove a device- no delay time yes ???
There is some delay time.
Is rocoren a trust worthy brand? It's really cheap compared to Baseus or Ugreen
It's okay. I'd put it on par with Baseus and Ugreen for reliability. Both of which are hit and miss. None of them are going to last as long as your apple charger.
Hi, thanks for the review. Rocoren seems to loose when it comes to using two port simultaneously, it only offers 100w + 20w, while idmix 140w offers 100w + 35w, and ugreen 140w adapter 65w + 65w which sounds like the best option to me.
What are your thoughts, is it really like that?
I try to chose the best adapter for me now, and recoren is the cheapest option and ugreen is the most expensive.
Yeah, I find some of these don't report the power they can actually deliver correctly and these small changes may be things manufacturers do to 'customize' each adapter. The UGREEN does have the best equal power sharing if you need that. The other options, like Rocoren or Idmix do as you mention though, one port is the high power port and the others are low power ports. So, laptop, phone, and maybe a watch or some other low power accessory on the USB A port.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Thanks for reply. Also maybe you have an opinion about Voltme 140w charger? It is relatively cheap ~on par with Rocoren, but has 65w - 65w mode like the more expensive Ugreen. And even 65-45-22,5w mode when using three ports
Yes, Voltme 140 very interesting 🤔
I would stick to anything that can keep 100w in power sharing tho. A lot of working laptops require PD 100w for optimal charge and I always charge my phone at the same time at PD 20w. I think rocoren 140 and baseus 140w are better for my use cases.
really nice detailed videos!
btw which charger would you recommend for the regular Samsung Galaxy S22?
Thanks for watching! I guess it depends. Some people really want the fastest charge possible so anything with a 45W capable PPS mode. If that maximum speed isn't so important then any of the high ranking chargers I typically look at will give the most efficient charge. Baseus 100W is the most common choice. Off the top of my head I forget the PPS capabilities on that. I would stay away from anything 65W unless size is the most important thing, there are some tiny 65W adapters out there. The Samsung 45W chargers are also not a bad choice.
@@AllThingsOnePlace I see! looks like I will buy the original Samsung 45w charger then..
Thank you, and I hope your channel gets more recognized because you deserve it! :)
I have one player use 65w and s23 ultra 45w for charger. Can Rocoren charge both in same time 65w+45w?
I don't think it can. These 140W adapters are weird since they have the power budget but the power sharing is not as fluid as it should be if you ask me. I know it is difficult to actually accomplish and they all have to work with the chips that are available.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Now I looking Anker and Ugreen according to spec (can use 65w+65w) It' look like suitable with my set. but too expensive haha
Rocoren seems like a good brand but I wonder how the 100w version is? It looks like your baseus but with a figure 8 cable which would be perfect for me as I don't like using travel adapters for AU.
Yeah, I have that one on the way, I haven't tested it yet.
I tell you what, I eat a doughnut, its gonna put more then 35 grams into me weight. Yes, lets cram 140 watts through a single port, and lets melt some cables. I still remember your cables tests, and some of them cables had paper thin wiring inside, scary! Glad to see Anker is finally owning the other adapters in idle power consumption. I wish the adapter would take off for us at 5V, but I guess we need to stick wings as well as a doughnut on it to do that. These adapters are getting so much more powerful now, I remember when 100W was the limit, and that was only 8 months ago! Next video from you, will be a 200w adapter, which will include a doughnut, but not a set of wings.
Hahaha. I forgot what Anker calls it but there is no mention of the donut anywhere on their main page, I did see it on the amazon listing though. Yeah PD 3.1 and up to 240 watts on one USB C cable is coming. The cool part is the current is the same, it is higher voltage, so the cable losses don't get worse at least. I would like to see these as more of distribution of power... So, you connect to the 240W port with one cable and can manage that to many devices without the worry of renegotiation or running out of total power and have a proper PFC adapter feeding all the devices. The prospect is real. I need to start designing that eco system.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Hey buddy! Based on what I just read, I am starting to get the feeling that you should design a USB power adapter, one that measures up to earn 1rst place. I keep wondering when the day will come, when a USB power adapter, does the same watt capacity, for every USB port. Classically, only one port gets 100W - 140W, and the rest get like 85W or less. And yes, I'd like these companies to finally start taking PFC seriously, and offer it for every mode. They know full well, that most people will be drawing 5V standard USB power, and not 12V or 24V. Thats why I say you should make one.
Hi there :) Do you know if this PFC noise on the Rocoren can affect the longevity of a laptop battery? I'm in between choosing either the Rocoren or the Baseus 140 which looked quite clean
So, this noise is AC side noise. I know it is a bit confusing and I need to go a better job separating and explaining that. So, it is more of an interference issue than a charging issue. Both will do a good job charging. The Baseus was a little more stable on output voltage though which is better for charging stability. None of them really do anything about the longevity of a laptop battery since the laptop itself decides how fast to charge.
After watching your videos, I had zeroed in on the Rocoren but, I found that they die very often. Now, I'm back to square one. Can you recommend a 3 port charger? I need to charge my iPhone 14, Pixel 7 Pro & Nothing Phone 1 and if possible my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 which requires a 65 watt charger. The laptop thing is nice to have, NOT a must.
Yeah, the Rocoren and it's heat, which is also basically every other 140W adapter, they're almost all the same adapter. Actually, the 717 from Anker has a bad reputation as well. My number one is still the Satechi 165W charger for the 120V market. It isn't perfect, you have to follow the port order for power consuming devices or it will loop. But if you have things plugs in all the time it's a good performer. Just adding up wattages you have three about 30 watt phones and a 65 watt laptop, so 165 watts to get them all going. It's not the most portable but all the ports are USB C and PD. It may require a PD to (not sure the name) rectangle connector that the laptop might use? It's just an option, there's so many choices out there. I really want a customizable distribution board that breaks out the power from something like the new framework adapter, ha.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Thanks for the reply, much appreciated! Would your suggestion remain valid for the UK as well which is 220V? Also, wouldn't a 165W charger be an overkill? I'm asking because adding up the 3 phones is only 88W - (20W + 23W + 45W). Laptop is nice to have so I can charge it solo or with just 1 phone. Wouldn't a 65W or a 100W charger be more suitable? If yes, which one would you recommend in this wattage range? Also, having 1 USB-A port will be helpful.
@@MisterBhaarat It wouldn't be overkill really, it does mean the power supply is operating in a safe range and won't overheat, and will last longer. The reason for not recommending the Satechi for the 220V market is the leakage current, so if using a metal bodied laptop especially, that adapter will leave you tingling when touching it. It's isolated fine but it leaks more than others. For low leakage supplies, Anker and Apple are both really good for this. The 100W prime series, but it's 1A2C configuration means one device gets the slow boat, but it would have the power for the laptop if needed.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Great, thanks! Yes my laptop is metal & don't need the tingling. Let me check out the ones you recommended.
Wtih the Rocoren 140W USB C Charger, if the Type-C1+Type-C2 output are used simultaneously, can C1 still deliver 28V? On the Amazon product page it says is can provide 100W and 20W respectively, but doesn't say anything about the voltages. The reason I ask is because I have a soldering iron that can draw 90W at 28V, but I would also like to plug in a 12 V extractor fan into the brick at the same time.
Yeah, it won't do 28V with any other USB port plugged in. The 200W Satechi supposedly does do that if you choose the correct ports, I failed to get that working though.
Lenovo c135w GaN - how can I replace it if the maximum to all 140w-chargers - 5A х 28V, but 6.5 x 20V A is needed for Lenovo Legion? Have any idea?
As of now, you can't. It is surprising these manufacturers are still shipping and designing non-standard power adapters with new products. It might have the same port type but being not compatible leads to a lot of confusion.
I enjoyed the video
Where can I buy usb 3.1 trigger (supporting 28v) in the video?
I searched all of them, but there is only pd 3.0 trigger (supports 20v)
Yeah, I got mine on eBay. If you search for PD 3.1 you should find it.

There is a place but it is limited data access. I also don't share a link to it since it is far from finished (the sticker in the video has the web address).

Hi there, i really appriciate your detail and careful review. Im going to buy Anker 717 A2341 140W, i wonder if it can charge dell xps 9520 laptop (19.5V - 6.67A ~ 130w) is this 140w backward compatible? Does it cause any negative effect to the battery if i use 140w charger to charge 130w of the dell xps?
No, this won't do that. It will trip on overcurrent because in any mode the maximum current is 5 amps. You would have to get a PD EPR trigger set to 28V then get a buck converter to drop the voltage to 19.5, which would then be able to supply the extra current. This would then be able to power the laptop but out of the box it will max out at 100 watts.
Rocoren is good, if it lasts, but sadly both of mine doesn't. Here's the story, I purchased the 140w from their Shopee store (SEA equivalent Amazon) back in July 2023 and it arrived a week later. Everything was good until early August, just shy of 1 month the Rocoren died. I contacted their rep and they gave me a voucher to purchase another one for free and free shipping, so that I don't need to pay or even send them the broken adapter back.
A week later, the new one arrived, and as of today Jan 3rd, the replacement has died. No power on both C and A ports. So now i have 2 dead Rocoren 140w paper weights.
Oh well, maybe I'll just open up those two next time when i have the time to see what killed em, meanwhile, I am not going to buy another Rocoren and will get a UGreen instead.
Yeah, I think it is a common problem, the clone 140W adapters are all made by the same company, and the quality is the same across the board. Even the Anker, which is different, doesn't last in this form factor. I still use the Rocoren for testing 140W devices and somehow mine is going fine but of course the reviewer. If you do open them up and find what went wrong please share!
@@AllThingsOnePlace So even the Anker 140w ones don't last. I have went through two Rocoren 140w and they have stopped warrantying it.
@@takax2040Yeah, there was an interesting video by bigclive recently that showed a PCB with electrolytic capacitors on it but spots for mlcc's, of course mlcc being more expensive they went with the electrolytics, shorting the lifespan of the product for a few pennies. Of course that was junk from the get go.. but yes, all these premium products build in shorter lifespan.
Any idea how many ports are on the Anker? I don't think it was mentioned in the video.

How is these chargers performance charging a laptop?
If compatible they'll all work. The Anker has reliability issues.
Hello my anker 140w does this where the charging logo blinks on my MBP M1 pro 16 inch sometimes and not. i suspect my power supply but I wonder why it works and sometimes it doesn't. but in all cases whenever it blinks my Mac it always charges my Samsung S21 ultra at all times easily. Could I have bought a faulty product
I don't think it is the power adapter but without diagnostic data I can't tell exactly what is happening. It does sound like a USB negotiation issue though. The Anker 140W is only a one port device? So, not sure if it is a cable issue or something else. I'd expect the 140W single port device to not reset once plugged in though.
Hi, can u run a stress test on the rocoren 140w charger ? I've seen many reviews saying it stopped working or something burned after 2~3 months of use
Yeah, it isn't a bad idea, I don't quite has a test setup to do really long term testing on these. I'd expect it wouldn't run for that long at full load though before it trips and over heat protection and shuts off. These are made to run at rated power all the time. Need an automated test jig of some kind that can turn on and off the unit as well as select operation modes to give it a realistic long term load condition. Easy to plan, not easy to do.
Yup same as me. The replacement one failed as well. They won't replace the 2nd one as they say the warranty is counted from the first unit
Bought this Rocoren 140w Oct 2023, but already NOT function in March 2024 with out any misused and only use when travel.
Thanks for sharing, yeah I should pin a comment or something, it performs great when it works, but they seem to have issues lasting.
Hello with cable will you recommend to get the max of this power adapters??? Thanks...
So, that is difficult since there are not a lot of options out there. I can say (and I need to tweet this or something) the cables labeled with 140W on the ends are fakes. The UGREEN 240W cables seem pretty legit though, that is what I am using in these tests. The Anker cables were not as good.
Can you please do a test on the Baseus 140w Charger, I would appreciate it.
I know, I want to do that one but having trouble getting one.
I only found them for sale on the Baseus Official Store on AliExpress from China, and it almost half the price of the Anker 140w charger.
Thanks for the video again! Finally a review for rocoren. Ive been eyeing this one for quite a while due to how cheap it is but wasnt sure how it would perform.
Also, can you check the 2 other rocoren 100w gan chargers, a wall charger and desktop version? Both offer great value per performance compared to the competition. Thanks!
Model no.: K021-ST01 and RCCTZM-NLZB01
Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't find that second model number. The first I see on Aliexpress though.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Weird though since that is the first product I found after checking their AliExpress page. I manage to snug the 100w wall charger for 21usd and is probably the cheapest out there. Surprisingly, it has all the US, CA and Jap safety listing and DOE 6 maker. However, I cant verify the performance since i dont have any sophisticated equipment like you have. Lastly, I uploaded a short in my account if you want to check how it looks.
Will it support z13 flow 2023? The built-in adapter is 130w (20v 6.5a). I guess it should only accept 100w (20v 5a). I usually use throttlestop limit cpu at 20w and vga 4060 will use about 60w. Will the rocoren 140w adapter provide enough power?
Yeah, the rocoren will only supply 100W, as you mention, so yes, throttling is the only way to keep it within the power budget. I expect that will work as long as the Z13 is using the PD protocol over USB C to ask for the 20V and 5A. Honestly, that's hit or miss still on laptops.
@@AllThingsOnePlacethank

+ if I want to use 165w unit + type C to DC to plug in the machine's power port, is it better than plugging in a 100w + type c to type c unit to PD for the device
+ In the price range of 50-75$ which 100w adapter is good to use PD
+ if between the two is type c to DC and type c to type c to power the machine, which one do you choose?
So, you are kind of stuck. The only adapter that comes to mind is the SlimQ 240W adapter but it is over the budget. A reasonable 100W adapter is the Baseus 4 port 100W wall or desktop adapter but it will likely drain the battery while gaming as it will max out the 100W USB C port's capability. I would use C-C not C-Barrel as the C-Barrel still won't offer any more power than the USB C port on it's own.
Do you know will the anker charger legion laptop?
I am not sure.
Kovol usb-A port I think is only QC 2.0. why not QC 3.0 when this is an advanced PD 3.1 charger on the C port, wut?
did you notice the address to Denver, CO goes to PostNet which is like a mail box rental place? there are several LLC/companies registered in Colorado that use the same address but get a different suite number. I tested the Kovol support email and phone number from the card & on the box. get no response after several weeks so it makes me wonder what happens in 1 year when you try to get warranty support? Kovol was cheapest on on ali X press and that is all I can say about it.
Rocoren is on sale a lot on Ama zon, for $10+ coupon or more it's $59-$69, currently $69 with coupon right on the page.
Since the Anker 717 only has one port I think they should consider lowering the price on it or adding another usb-C port.
Yeah, I did notice the address on Kovol, it is a strange mix. They are made by the same company that makes RavPower, Teknet, Blitzforce, and a bunch of others. I found Sunvalley group for Ravpower but that isn't the OEM. Shenzhen Unichain Technology Co. LTD. is another one that pops up, I don't think that is the OEM either. Probably could do more digging and figure it out but it probably also changes to whoever is cheapest. I am not surprised at no response on the tech support. I have seen positive answers from brands like Baseus and SlimQ in my comments sections so there is someone watching on those ones... Anker could probably care less but they do have tech support being the largest brand of power adapters.
I just got a 120W Baseus man but they don't include a 100W cable, any suggestions? I've looked around but there's tons of options for cables and I don't know which one to go
That is is very unusual to not come with a cable. Basically, pick the cable with the lowest resistance and length you need: www.allthingsoneplace.com/usb-cables
@@AllThingsOnePlace it did come with a cable but seems like 27W only
@@AllThingsOnePlace thanks
Hi man nice review..👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Have a question, as you mentioned in the video that in pps mode anker can go up to 40 watts, then you have said but it can also crank upto whole 140 watts. But for Rocoren you have said 100 watts. A bit confused here. I ordered one Rocoren, but need to clear about this part. Pleae give me a reply.
In PPS mode, the Anker will only do 40 watts(~11V-4A), the Rocoren will do 100 watts (~20V-5A). In the EPR mode both of these chargers will do 140W (28V-5A).
Most phones and tablets don't use 5 volts to charge nowadays, even the iPhone's configuration will keep the Anker's PFC on when it switches from 9 volts back down to 5 volts at 80%.
Anker varies a lot. The 140W adapter is actually near the best for this tipping point. But using a 140W adapter that to do charge at 15W is a little over sized. I guess the plus size of that the power adapter should never really be under stress so should last a very long time.
Have you tried their Cables as well ?
I have not... yet.
Which of these supports Samsung PPS charging?
They all have PPS, the Rocoren has 100W-21V PPS, the Kovol has 11V-25W PPS, and the Anker has 11V-45W PPS.
What power trigger board do you use?
I use two different ones. The PD 3.1 is an eBay special, it's from the chargerlab people, search for pd 3.1 and scroll, I had to order a few some never showed up. The other is the yzx studio PD 3 usb decoy will find it and 100's of clones at this point.
hi bro can u recommend me a charger for my MacBook m2 air I lost the original one
That doesn't need much, so anything 65W and up should be up to the task. Safest bet is go with the Apple OEM charger, not the most efficient but it is reliable. If you want to charge multiple devices I might spring for one of the Satechi 100+ watt models which claim to work well with macbooks. If you want to save a few dollars Baseus 100W multiport chargers are always on my go to list.
Is it Rocoren a good brand? Im afraid to bought it..
Yeah, risk management. Rocoren is made by another company and many other companies are offering the same adapter offering some confidence.
Rocoren GaN 100W review please
Thanks for the suggestion.
i want to know the quality of rocoren 140w?
Good question... I've been meaning to mix that one into my daily rotation but haven't yet.
whats that pd 3.1 trigger your useing

Bought the Robocen and used on my MBP14 M1max. Can only charge at 100W maximum. Is that true?
It should go to 140W, but you do have to use the apple Mag safe cable. The USB ports on the MBP don't do the full 140W.
@@AllThingsOnePlace I tried it with the magsafe cable and also the USB C cable. The company is saying that the charger only charges 140W on a MBP16. If you have knowledge do share.
@@aloysiuswee5775 Ah yeah, 14 inch. Fine print on the apple website. "16-inch MacBook Pro systems tested with preproduction Apple 140W USB-C Power Adapter (Model A2452), and 14-inch MacBook Pro systems tested with preproduction Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter (Model A2166), both with preproduction USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable (Model A2363). Fast-charge testing conducted with drained MacBook Pro units. Charge time varies with settings and environmental factors; actual results will vary."
@@AllThingsOnePlace Thanks for update. I've also tested the magsafe cable that comes with my units connected to the Rocoren when my MBP14 was at 6 % but still got the same 100W max. Just wanted to let you know. If you know anyway to get it to charge at 140W that would be great. TQ.
can the rocoren 140w charger charge using the samsung 45w charging?
Yes, this charger has a 5A capable PPS mode port with more than enough voltage to get to 45 watts.
@@AllThingsOnePlace thank you for the input
Is Rocoren a reliable brand? I think Ugreen and Anker are good brands but theyre so expensive... Ugreen's 140w is almost 200$ Rocoren is like 50$ but I'm not sure if it's good or if it will destroy my gadgets. I will use it for my macbook pro, steam deck, zfold 3
The Rocoren is made by XinSpower, as are nearly all of the adapters in this category, compared with UGREEN I'd say it is equal quality. . Kovol, UGREEN, Baseus, and Anker appear to make unique device versions though. These are all the same basic quality. They have differences in power management, how it delivers to multiple ports and handles non-standard devices like the Steam Deck.
I know at least 3 people who have this same Rocoren (on same chat server) and no problems reported so far. it's one of those budget finds that works out. I have that Kovol too and I do not recommend it. I'd get the rocoren. it's actually on sale today on amazan $38 and aliexpress rocoren store has it with $8 off coupon for $36. I'm also waiting for price of the anker 737 battery to go down, the $99 even on sale is a bit much for me, if it goes to $75 I'll get it.
@@AllThingsOnePlace Might also consider getting the VOLTME 140w charger. it has a little better port sharing than the Rocoren. rocoren is 100w+20W if you share both usb-C ports at the same time, but the VOLTME is 65+65 if both C-ports are shared. Voltme is $10 more than the Rocoren on ali-express. I hope you have time to review the Voltme soon since it can do 65+65. These are important differences to point out to everyday usage on how two chargers of similar price can deliver on higher port watts when sharing and using multiple. for me this seems important in comparing whether I should buy one or another brand.
Please rate them somehow! Maybe safety ⚡️⚡️⚡️ efficiency 🌱🌱 Or just "5 stars!". You already have good data on your website, your rating/grade as an expert will be very valuable too.
And maybe you can open of them some up?
Haha, yeah. There is a thing called PQR on the webpage which I haven't mentioned yet. It rolls everything into one and gives it an A - F rating. In this case the Rocoren and Anker got 'B' ratings and the Kovol got a 'C' rating. The issue with any single number rating is you lose detail. The PQS rating I provide in the video is a more detailed number on that performance. There is a number for each mode and a number for overall performance.
Ah cool! Thanks for the reply. I was having trouble understanding the data. I also noticed all chargers under 100 watts seemed to get a bad grade? But you seemed relatively positive in ie. the Anker nano 45W video. Maybe US letters for grades just don't make much sense to me 😅
@@avel7007 True that 100W adapters generally do better. The lower power adapters I tend to give them a little nicer of a review since I try to compare to what everyone else is doing. So, for 45W that isn't a bad adapter. Compared to using a good 100W adapter at 45W it will lose though and the PQS/PQR metrics will show this.
thanks
You are welcome.
rocoren is suspiciously low price
Yeah.

Not sure what that one says.
test this one VOLTME GaN Charger 140W
Thanks for the suggestion. I added it to the list.
