Such a luxury to have Jrue as a 5th option. Whenever someone is out he so easily slots into a lead ball handler role and ups his usage to whatever we need
this team is very similar to our 2019 team. back then our top 6-8 was kyrie, hayward, jt, jb, rozier, al, smart, morris, it was probably more stacked than our current team, but it didn't work because of egos. 2024 our team has slightly less talent but no ego which is why we are winning
He’s definitely the 4th option. Derrick white can’t be that if you wanna win the championship
Love him every game he's out there hustling for steals and creates a lot of open good looks
Probably the unsung hero of the Celtics' starting five. Such a luxury that Jrue Holiday is our number five and has clearly accepted that.

Jrue will make any team better, it’s a fact. Loved having him at the Pelicans, but since he’s moved to Bucks to help them, now hopefully to Celtics to help them too. I really can’t see many teams beating this Celtics outfit! Strong team and guys like Derrick White too are pests on the defence like Jrue just stealing the ball all the time. And Ofc their perimeter defence goes without saying..
Although interestingly this year I’ve noticed Jrue’s guarding assignments have changed a bit on Celtics and he was getting a lot more blocks than steals (starting to turn the ship to steals again as they are such a variable stat). What a versatile defender and all round two way guard!

@@frome5000Jrue is going to be a hall of famer. He has a high basketball IQ besides his defense. He was the reason the Bucks got a ring when he played with them.
@@jt8isgr870I strongly agree with this statement. I’m a New Orleans fan since the Baron Davis days and I can say Jrue was my favourite guard there. He didn’t get much love when he was at New Orleans in terms of oversight with his playmaking, ball handling, defence. Took the pels to the playoffs with AD and he’s only got more classy with time on defence. I would agree that he should be a HOF in the vain of the Gary Payton The Glove type two guard. Classy on both ends and even more importantly he’s a competitor to win when it matters - helped Giannis, Middleton, Lopez get a chip and was a huge part of that Suns series making Devin Booker look like he lost his car keys every important play on the clock. You could see Booker just got outplayed in his position by Jrue the whole series.
@@mckdogdrums3543 he's also annoyed Durant and Cp3 on defense. Also he is used to guard the super stars of every team through out his career. He's even been called the Dame stopper.

Jrue was cooking from the very start. This was his best game this year.
C's are 18-2 when Holiday scores 13+ points. We need him scoring and being aggressive.
