Jidel, just to let you know that a player can’t actually mentor 2 people at once, they can only mentor 1. So for example when you originally had Mike Conley mentor Jett Howard, as soon as you chose for him to mentor Anthony Black as well, he then gets taken away from mentoring Howard and focuses on mentoring Black. That’s why the first season Jett Howard’s badges didn’t increase that much. 2k should really fix this and let you know before you make the change.

If you don’t want to tie yourself up with Lonzo, moving Anthony Black to a PG will help out! He is a true point guard but plays a lot of off ball/ an all around threat as a freshman at Arkansas so 2k put him as a SG. It could save a lot of money and give you an opportunity at another veteran SF

I figured it out after trying a lot of different things. My problem was that my ps5 did not like me rearranging the divisions. I just kept the divisions the way they are and added my expansion team to one of the divisions. Hope this helps someone.
