@@cowgirldelux Thanks for commenting, did you adjust the screws alittle and insert the mini reflector? Once you insert the reflector adds as an additional support so the light doesn't leak out. Please let me know , I am here to help :) part 08:42 to and 4:33
This is an ingenious solution. I wish you would have turned on the light as it looks like some light leaks are possible with it. Also, it seems Smallrig has finally released an official adapter now.
Thanks for the comment, the good news is that the lights do not leak out due to the Mini Hyper Reflector 8:43 . If you noticed in the video, I attached it to prevent from leaking.
They briefly advertised the Smallrig ID4476 as a Mini-Bowens to normal Bowens adapter but then they took it down. This is a great option instead. Thanks for posting!
I just whipped up a quick video showcasing the setup of the SmallRig RC 60B. I guess if price was a deciding factor we'll all have more affordable things and never look at higher price tickets that is practical. I purchased mine for the fact that I love the product, and I wanted a solution for it. Thanks for sharing, I will check that out and maybe do a product review on both. Also depending on where you are the Westcott Quick Mount can be cheaper . I also advise people to shop around.
@@FilmOnBudget it's not compatible with the bowens mount just like this small rig light... I was looking for an alternative way to mount the light to a softbox but no luck so far... But I saw another guy posted a shorts with the Zhiyun 60w cob light .. he fitted the light directly on to the s2 bracket... Hopefully that will work for me...
@@FilmOnBudget the Wescott mount in India is around 5-8k which is around 80-100$ (and the andoer 60w which is rebranded as digitek dcl 60w WBC is just 4.9k Indian rupees
Great hack! Will be doing this for my RC60B too
I never comment but I definitely have to say thank you for this video!
I appreciate that! Thank you 😊
@@FilmOnBudgetI bought it and after a month of waiting I can’t get the bracket to screw on because it’s to short. What kind of magic did you work?

The mount itselft in india is too expensive... Or else this particular hack is incredible @@FilmOnBudget
@@LeafOfAutumn05 I just browsed the product, it actually looks promising. My question though is whether it is a Bowens mount compatible? 🤔

Anybody know if the Nanlite Bowens adapter for the Forza 60 would work for the Smallrig rc60b?
Gear and gaffer showed that the accessories from nanlight 60 ii are incompatible in his smallrig 60b review so I doubt the adapter would work
Update: Smallrig now produces a full size Bowens mount adapter for the RC 60b
