Appreciate the high-quality production and insightful, sparse commentary. Good work. Subbed.
Much appreciated! Thank you for the great comment!
You are such a lovely kind couple and I enjoyed this trip so much. We are bush lovers, nearing 80yrs and home bound🎉 thank❤ you
Thank you so much for the kind comment and for watching I’m glad my video was able to bring you enjoyment! Have a good day!
Thank you Richard and Shelly for spending sometime with the gentle giants! Ele’s are one of my favorites. They are so incredible and intelligent. They love the water and swimming! Their favorite playground! The big cats you capture on your previous video were excellent too! I appreciate all you do to share the African wild life with us. The birds are interesting, I have never seen such a variety in one place.😊🐘🦁❤️
Our pleasure! Thank you for taking the time to type out such a great comment!
Really enjoyed this! As we're in a wet, cold UK, we're vicariously taking in the best place in the world!
We love the way you guys take time to see the small stuff (not just the Big Five, nice as it is). Love your bird footage.
You do Kruger exactly the same way we do. Taking your time. Enjoying each animal sighting, not just a quick photo, and zooming off, looking for lions.
Keep this up!
Thank you so much for the great comment, Im glad you enjoyed the video! More videos to come!
can't believe you saw so many beautiful owls and leopards .great spotting.
We were very lucky with the sightings! Thanks for watching there are more videos on the way!
Good to see it all as one film. As I've said before, you do a great job of the filming and editing. We've been thinking of going back in December, specifically for birds, and watching this has convinced us to get on with it.
This last December I was in the park for three weeks to do some bird watching I can highly recommend, there are birds everywhere during that time of year!
South Africa my best 🇿🇦🥰
The best there is!
I very much enjoy the quality of your content and your photography. When I consider that unlike professionals who would have far deeper access into the bush, and time, you do an excellent job from your vehicle while obliged to stick to the roads. Great stuff and well done!
I appreciate it that means a lot to me, thank you!
I just wanted to say this is better than national geographics!! I like it the pictures are so good it's like you can reach out and touch the animals and pet them. In a pretty lady friend Sheila!! Very impressed that you know all about each bird's name! Like the way you narrate the video! Thank the two of you for sharing it! 🙂✌️✌️👍👍🙏🙏👋👋❤❤
Thanks so much for the great comment! It means a lot!
I am from Poland. Lately, we spent 9 months in Kruger, three times three months. Looks like we won't return, but we miss the place. Yes, we did some serious photography with superb results. Used to think that masai mara was the place. No, it's not.
Wish I could go, but they make it so hard to make reservations. There is always a problem with the Visa card. They make it so complicated. In counties of the world, it's working so smoothly.
Nice adventure, great wildlife! Congratulations.
I hope you get to return to the Kruger some day! It’s a very special place! Thank you for the kind words, there are more videos to come!
What a superb video you guys shared with us, what makes your video so special for us is the quality, the lovely commentary and the focus on the animals and KNP and not wheels rolling through water etc.
Thank you so much and keep enjoying the SA nature.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video there are plenty more to come!
Awesome video we thoroughly enjoyed watching! Gosh you & Shelley are amazing with capturing the birds, really great to see & we love that the ID's are all marked. Superb editing & stunning music, all so well done!
You had some amazing sightings. Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us all.
As they say.....Kruger never disappoints 👌🏻
Thank you! It is a pleasure to share it and the kind comments are so appreciated!!!
Congratulations on one of the best Kruger National Park videos I have ever seen. So nice to see something put together so beautifully with so much love and care.
So different than the rest of the videos with endless fast forward shots of the car driving, so different than the shots of people eating and commenting on food, so different than the videos with the poorest of the poorest background music...not taking you to Africa but some Ibiza disco.
Thank you for adding the names of the different species as well. Subscribed and liked, and hope to see many more.
Thank you so much for your great comment it is very much appreciated!
I really like how low-key your docs are. Not as exciting and big-budgeted as, for example, David Attenborough’s. But that’s absolutely fine. The beauty of the Kruger’s flora and fauna is in your every shot. And your choice of music is excellent. Congrats!
Thank you so much!
Well done Richard with your very professional and informative coverage in Kruger National Park.
You are really good in what you do.
Keep it up
👍🏻
Thank you so much for your kind comment John! It is very much appreciated!
After watching your Satara video, I had to come and find more. I hope to be able to watch many future trips. You have talent and an authentic love of the bush. I loved all the babies, the cheetah, the hyena cubs, the young leopard and also the little zebra. I think that my favorite was the two Giant Eagle Owls. They look very dramatic with their pink eye shadow. Very over the top.
Thank you for your comments and for supporting the channel! I am so glad you enjoy the videos!
Thank you for doing all that driving! So I can do all the seeing! Really enjoy your company! 🙂✌️✌️👍👍🙏🙏👋👋❤❤
Thank you!
This was a wonderful video. I live in Oregon (USA) & I will never make it to Africa. Thank you for letting us travel vicariously through your camera lens. You seem like a very pleasant couple, so I subbed your channel. Thank you, & well done!

Another wonderfully entertaining safari. Just love all the birds ❤. Thank you 🎉

Thank you Richard. Amazingly, your videos keep getting better and better. Your character and that of your lady, reflect through your enchanting portrayal of the wildlife. No egotism, just professionalism. Well balanced videos.
Wow, thank you so much!
Absolutely stunning !!!!! Thank you
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the wind and nature and not too much music ❤
I’m glad that you enjoyed it! I try my best to make it as natural as possible!
Amazing footage and photography thank you beautiful South Africa
Thank you for the kind comment!
Absolutely fantastic video shots...you have a trained eye! Super bird sightings. Sorry, just found the loud music VERY intrusive....especially when you want to hear the bush sounds. Soft gentle background music would be very calming. Just a thought. Brilliant video...will send it to my son in the US.
Thank you for the kind comments and your honest review about the background music! I will definitely take it into consideration for the future videos!
Good day to you..
I love the Kruger National Park olso nice drive to see the wild animals 🦁🦓🐆 . You made a very nice video of the Kruger park 👍
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video!!
I especially like your birds
Thank you!
Greetings Richard! This is the first time I have watched one of your videos. I sure did enjoy it. I watched it while I was having a meal and I was hoping to see something that would not show a lot of animals being ripped apart and I was very pleased that nothing violent took place. Most of the animals seemed to be in a very relaxed mood and it was a pleasure to eat and enjoy what they looked like in their natural surroundings. I even enjoyed the bird life; especially the bird that sounded like it was blowing a flute. I had never heard of a bird that could make that kind of sound. If I were out there in the wild with that bird, I might imagine that someone was pulling my leg. "Alright," I might say, "Come on out where I can see you." Anyway, I sure did enjoy your eight-day wildlife excursion in Kruger National Park. Next time, please introduce your girlfriend. She deserves some recognition as well. Anyway, adios from Texas my friend.
Thanks so much for your great comment I will take some of your advice too!
Thank you Richard wonderful and excellent vlog, Beautiful views of the National Park❤😊

Awesome video. A perfect way to spend a Sunday morning in England! Great to see a video from August time as we are heading into the park at that same time for 2 weeks. Loved your bird sightings. Which app are you using to mark them off as you go?
Thank you for watching and have the best time on your trip to the park! We used the Roberts bird app 2!
Binging on your posts mate! Loving it! Subbed! 👏

Thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Brilliant camera work as usual, very good sighting, you're very lucky
Glad you enjoyed it
An absolutely superb video, as a frequent visitor myself to Kruger I throughly enjoyed the animals and the African bush. I do prefer the south than the north and have visited all the places that you’ve taken us too. I will be visiting again in August 25. Thank you so much for sharing the best place on the planet.
Thank you so much for your comment! The south of the park is definitely our favourite when it comes to cat and dog sightings! Enjoy your trip, I'm sure you'll have plenty of great experiences!
Love your videos; we have been to Africa 4 times and except once we always went to Kruger. Very well done you guys!
Thank you so much for the kind comment! Kruger is definitely one of the best places on earth!
Richard you shoud go to National Geografic and ask them if the need som help behind a camera. You really know your skills.
Greeting from Anna in North Sweden.
Very kind of you Anna!

Nature captured at its best, amazing experience watching sights, so appreciative you,ve named all birds seen. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Many thanks, there are more videos to come!
Very enjoyable to see the animals interact. and the two of you as well. nice going. what if you go your separate ways? are there legalities you have to consider before that happens?
Thanks for watching I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Don't worry about that Thomas.
Thank you again.
Great video. From a South African in Texas.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Magical experience guys, you had some fantastic sightings, look for the small things and the big things will appear. I'm heading to Kruger for 5 weeks in August, could I ask about the car door based camera mount, I think I saw Motion Mount, does it just sit on the top of the door, is it good enough for steady video ? It looks pretty substantial ! Safe travels !!!
Hi thank you so much for the awesome comment! The Motionmount is the perfect solution for steady videography. It is made to order to fit the door of the vehicle model that you specify when you place the order. It doesn't just rest on the door, it fits the door perfectly, with a durable rubber foam finish to protect the vehicle. This is what I use and I don't go to any game reserve without it. Enjoy your 5 weeks in the park, that's going to be incredible.
@@RichardvanHaght Thanks for the reply, I'll be hiring a car from Jo-berg, so might be a bit difficult for me if it's vehicle specific. Just getting more into video and discovering its way different to stills for keeping things level and steady 😮 Looking forward to being back in the bush with the sights, smells and sounds !!! 🤠😎
Thanks so much amazing sightings love Kruger national Park
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for the awesome comment! Glad you enjoyed it!
Fabulous. 🎉 Hi, from Durban.
Hello! Thank you for watching!
Very good video. What camera and lens are you using? We saw the leopard and her cub on the S147 last year.
Thank you so much! Canon eos r with 100-400mm lens!
What is the area in Kruger national park where we can spot Lions and leopard most likely. We have driven from Nahlani gate eo Skukuza but couldn't sopt them. And when we went on a safari, our guide stayed in the peripheri of crocodile river bridge.
There are lions all over the south of the Kruger Park. Some days you see them and other days not…
Great video. I keep it aside for further viewing. It reminds me of my2017 safari in Kruger Park.BTW what is your Photo/video setup? Thanks from France.
Thank you so much there are more videos to come! I use an Eos r and 100-400mm lens, with a motionmount on the car door to stabilise the setup.
@@RichardvanHaght Thanks for your quick answer. My EOS6D+Tamron70-200/f2.8 did well in its time but a bit short on animal portraits and not that at ease on harsh light conditions. I am on the verge of upgrading to R6mkII. Looking forward to viewing your next episodes.
Great sighting of Amira. One of the last times she was seen, sadly.
I’m sure I had sightings of her in December and January but I didn’t have my camera so I can’t be certain. Very sad if she isn’t around anymore.. Moya her mother was apparently 14 years of age when she was last seen, Amira would have only been 6…
@@RichardvanHaght I spent a few days at the end of December / early January with a female a few km south of Ngotso Dam that had a kill, that I really thought was her, but I compared her spots with Amira and sadly it wasn't. I also saw the male cub a few times around Ngotso North during that time. No luck with Amira though.
I think I was seeing the male cub around Ngotso North on the afternoon of the 31st of December and then on the 2nd or 3rd of January he had a steenbok in a tree in the same area…
@@RichardvanHaght Ja we also got him on the 31st. A friend of mine was with him on the kill a couple of days later. He seems to favor that area now. You'll hardly find him on the S147 these days.
We were probably at the same sighting haha! A month ago I saw him on the s147 and just south walking to and from Nyahmiri waterhole. Also saw a bigger male 3km south of the s147. Maybe Amira is higher up the S147…
Lovely video! What month were you in Kruger?(this video)
I heard him saying August 2023
August
@RichardvanHaght thanks! I'll be there next month. Never been there in winter time. Can't wait
Hi what camera lens do you use
100-400mm, thank you for the comment!
Thanks
What car do you have?
Hey man this is a Toyota Land Cruiser 78 with an Alucab rooftop tent conversion.
@@RichardvanHaght Awesome, I would love to see a tour one day 😉
if lions are wild why don't they attack you? they are breed and put in wild because wild lions don't exist anymore
Thanks for watching the video!
Not wild lions
Hi, all the animals in these videos are wild. Thank you for watching!
