(crochet) How to crochet letters - easy method to add lettering to crochet and knit work

Two great minds think alike.I tried with an embroidery needle, tried the crochet way. Then i started thinking there must be an easier way.And came up with the chain method.Gets a bit tricky trying to sew on but it works.Keep up your good work.

I love your lettering you help me so much and it made easy for me I cannot say thanks enough. I made a christening blanket hat and booties and burp cloth and put the name on burp cloth it turned outstanding they were ecstatic
