I’m not trying to diagnose you by any means, but I worked as a RN and the babies that passed (I worked in NICU), the after care I had to do, the trips to the morgue, plus the parents grief, it seriously mentally scarred me. I’m really impressed you were able to withstand that. You’re tougher than me. If you’re okay after that, plus your firefighting job (that’s all I know about it), then I wish I had that tough of a heart, while still keeping empathy and able to stay warm like you seem. Tbf the body is at least gone before the clean up but brain matter is no joke either. My son was in the NICU for about two weeks after surgery and I was literally the only parent that was there, it’s probably the worst two weeks of my life so I feel for you

Also, reading articles, it turns out he brutally raped a different 21 year-old tourist 8 months prior after she refused to have sex with him. She never reported it or told anyone until she saw him on TV for Grace's murder. His former live-in girlfriend said he raped her repeatedly and threatened to kill her multiple times while holding her near with a knife. Neither of these girls did ANYTHING. They said fuck all, and just let him run free, where he would later kill an innocent girl.

I have never and would never use these dating sites for this very reason, I have to really know someone before I allow them in my life. I never ever go on those dating sites anymore because I have met some crazy people. I actually had a male friend follow me to a place where I was supposed to meet a man and had my friend sit at another table and told him if the date was going wrong I would get up and head towards the women’s bathroom, The date turned out to be some slime ball who is only interested and one thing and that was a turn off for me he was getting very personal so I told him I had to use the restaurant and my friend met me in the back of the restaurant and we took off I never gave the guy my home address and I never let him go to the bar to order my drink. He was just too creepy for me and I was afraid if he ordered my drink at the bar he was going to slip something into my drink because he made a comment about that and said he was only joking but it made me feel uncomfortable so I left them there at the restaurant and when he called me I told him to never call me again where he would be sorry I am so sorry that Grace lost her life to someone who she thought she could trust in my prayers to her family but as women we need to be more careful this is not the 70s where people could just hitchhike anymore people are dangerous more now than they were back then may she rest in peace

Watched the documentary. This guy is one of the coldest killers I've ever seen. The whole planning and execution of the murder and the lack of remorse was quite chilling. She said NO he murdered her and showered went shopping for suitcases , stuffed her then went on a date.

I'm physically disabled and I can't stand or walk for very long. To this day, I'm absolutely terrified of going downtown for anything. To this day, I'm looking to move out of my current apartment just to get away from this guy. For anyone who is going through any type of abuse, whether you are a man or a woman, please get help. It's terrifying to be afraid of someone. It's hard and difficult to get help. However, you'll be a lot safer and happy to get away. To the family of this young woman, my heart goes out to you! I decided to join up with some of them and let me tell you that 95% of the people using those apps are fictitious and just out to scam people. And I think because of those apps and the aura and issues surrounding them, it’s me dating or trying to find people today in public even worse. Because now, nobody can trust anybody else and because of that suspicion… It’s tough to break through to even start a conversation that would lead into a first date. This is definitely a case where technology is impeding on reality. Definitely making it tougher for single people out there. So, everyone be careful if you decide to use these apps and also, if you’ve use the apps in the past, with negative outcomes… Do not let that drive your mentality on everyone you talk to. Not everybody is a bad person… some people, just like you, want to meet a great person to enjoy life with.

I think that's part of the appeal of theaters and watching movies together, you all get to laugh or jump in fear at a cheap jumpscare and overall have that experience together.

Watched the documentary. This guy is one of the coldest killers I've ever seen. The whole planning and execution of the murder and the lack of remorse was quite chilling. She said NO he murdered her and showered went shopping for suitcases , stuffed her then went on a date.

I’d also like to add, since you have a platform to reach more people, tell people to make a safe call. A safe call is contacting someone you trust & giving them the name, license plate, address, etc of the person you’ll be going out with. You let your date know you’re doing this for your own protection. Anyone without sinister motives should have no issue with this. If they do, cancel the date. I had a job as a dispatcher for a crime scene clean up company and I definitely agree. The amount and quality of cleaning products that are needed to actually clean a crime/death scene is remarkable. It was mindblowing the 1st time I helped a worker load their van for a job.
Most random people have no clue what is actually needed to clean blood and bodily fluids. That's what always gets these creeps caught and thank God the chemicals needed are closely monitored.

You’re absolutely right about the dating apps. After my wife cheated on me and I ended up single for the first time in 15 years. I decided to join up with some of them and let me tell you that 95% of the people using those apps are fictitious and just out to scam people. And I think because of those apps and the aura and issues surrounding them, it’s me dating or trying to find people today in public even worse. Because now, nobody can trust anybody else and because of that suspicion… It’s tough to break through to even start a conversation that would lead into a first date.
This is definitely a case where technology is impeding on reality. Definitely making it tougher for single people out there. So, everyone be careful if you decide to use these apps and also, if you’ve use the apps in the past, with negative outcomes… Do not let that drive your mentality on everyone you talk to. Not everybody is a bad person… some people, just like you, want to meet a great person to enjoy life with.
