- A prime grade ribeye from loblaws, not a bad price for sharing or making two steaks. The full cut is a bit too large for me - though in days past i would have eaten it all! Those of you incensed at the under doneness of my other steaks will notice this one was done a bit more. The simple reason for this is that with so much fat and marbelling in a steak you want to make sure that all that fat is meltingly cooked. There is nothing as unpleasant as chewing uncooked fat. That is why a wagyu will always be better cooked medium that medium rare. Cooking the fat imparts flavor to the meat.

Please provide a reasonable alternative within a 5 minute drive from 60 Carlton with advertised price and convenient parking and I will genuinely go there.

Happy to hear suggestions on where i could shop for groceries cheaper in downtown Toronto, which is local to me without going to the so-called 'markets' which are even more expensive; and the 'cheaper' grocery chains belong to the same companies...
