My pleasure! I'm glad you enjoy my content and yes, that's mandarin, we speak it in Taiwan and China. Cantonese is only used in Hong kong and its very difficult I heard, even for a Mandarin speaker, I don't understand them at all😅
Snow peas are delicious…. edamame is from the devil. I got some from the local market this past summer and they were absolutely horrible. I don’t care how they’re prepared they SUCK!

I won't force you lol you remind me of my mom when I was young, telling me to eat egg plant and I said no, and she keep saying" but it taste good this way" and I'm like " NOOO!!! I'm not gonna get full this time!" lmao. all good memories Jokes aside tho, I do find edamame in the US "pre-peeled" in freezer bag very weird, Chinese always eat the edamame straight from the pods and the seasoning is on the pod, only when you suck on it the flavor is perfect, so I'll agree I don't like "pre-peeled" edamame, it tastes different.
I really enjoyed your video! I am 70 yrs old and wasn't certain the difference between English peas and Sugar Snap pea's. I also like your teaching me how to say the words in Chinese. I love learning new things. It might have been nice on a quick instruction n how to put these fresh peas up. Like do I blanch them after picking? Good for freezing or canning? That sort of things. But your video is outstanding! Thank you!

Thank you for demonstrating how to prepare snow peas in particular. I just cleaned 3 oz as you showed and it was easier than I thought. I will know if I removed enough of the fibrous part when I make my chicken stir fry tonight. Wish me luck!!!

They are different, mangetout/snow pea will not swallow up like that, it need to be harvest while it’s flat and ripe, if left on the vine it will rot. And snow pea doesn’t taste good raw in my opinion😅
