When you have completed all three titles in Super Mario 3D All Stars to the ending, the Undertale game system starts up and an encounter with Flowey occurs, starting a battle event like this Ah, this's my personal imagination...
I like how the second beat drop at 7:34 happened *right* as Flowey is starting to actually yelp in terror. At first, it's not that intense as you gain the option to fight back, Flowey is trying to get used to the sudden change in pace, and right as you are both getting used to it, the beat drops the first time. The second time the beat drops is, like I said, right as Flowey's "hurt" sound changes to the more terrified version rather than the "mocking" version. And that change in tone is what makes the player realize "I am winning this, I can complete this fight, just need to hang on a little longer", and the music changes to reflect that.

The souls just left, without the power from them his defense and max health dropped back to normal, and Frisk already did like half his health, so he was almost dead by the end of the the fight
